Had my dog neutered there... they had a cancelation, so I got in right away, they were great and inexpensive.

Fantastic with my dog. All the vets we have seen over the past couple of years since we moved to the area have been really good with our pets.

Took my dog in for possible swallowing foreign object.. Dr asked some questions had me hold him while he checked his temperature checked NOTHING else not in his mouth or anything else, said he wanted to do a blood test, I was fine with that, they took my dog in the back, only to come back 5 mins later to tell me he is too strong for them to do a blood test, Yes he is strong but not once did they ask me to hold him or help as I would have been happy to do so . Told me to take him home and monitor him and if he get worse to bring him back.... I was there almost an hour & 15min and am no closer to an answer than I was when I got there. And charged me for a exam but they didn't even check my dog over . VERY NOT IMPRESSED and will not be going back. However the front counter staff was very nice and helpful

THIS CLINIC HAS BEEN SOLD TO AMERICAN CONGLOMERATES!! Big change now. No longer a 5 from me. It’s become assembly line big business. We have been coming here for 25 years. Read reviews of all the long time customers. My dog has cancer and they said no surgery after they booked them Then they want you s to rebook to get pain medication. They told us it has a heart murmur so no. It didn’t have a heart murmur on its appoint 5 days ago when they booked her surgery. They lost her records of 14 years. Told her s to go back to our regular vet. They are her regular vet!!!????

I have been a client at this clinic for over 20 years. I had always been pleased with their service...but over the past 5 years I have seen a steep decline, recently I called for an appointment and was on hold for 1 HOUR, this is 100% unacceptable, I left a message and no one has returned my call. They will charge you if you are late for an appointment , yet, they are okay if you have to wait on the phone or at their office for up to 1 hour, my time is also very valuable. I used to really like this clinic and always recommended it, but they are just to unreliable to do so anymore. Customer service is so important, I hope they look into improving this, hiring more staff to answer the phone is most definately a starting point.

Very poor experience today at the Langley Animal Clinic. Disappointing especially after having received great treatment for my previous dog. Started with non-existent customer servicel. 2 staff right at the door when I walked in...no one said hello. 2 staff at the desk. One on the phone, the other just sitting there. I stood there for 5 minutes Could have at least acknowledged me. Dr. Arminder Brar was the vet and he was awful!!!!! I put a muzzle on the dog as I had only been fostering him for 3 days and just wanted to be cautious. I explained this to the vet. He wanted ME to lift the dog onto the table. A 31kg dog! Maverick was getting a bit stressed out by the whole experience. To be expected..most dogs get stressed at the vet. Dr Brar went to get an assistant to help, them came back alone. He didn't make any effort to look at the area of concern. He called Maverick aggressive! Maverick DID NOT demonstrate ANY signs of aggression. He was sitting by my feet and at one point laid down. Slightly stressed yes, but aggressive no!!! (Compared to the stress level my previous dog used to experience, Mav was doing fine!!!!) Brar spent most of the 20 min. appointment on his laptop writing up 2 prescriptions. He explained one Rx was an anti inflammatory and how to give it. The other Rx was for Maverick's aggressive behaviour to calm him for the next appointment. He explained 3 TIMES how to give the sedative before the next appointment. Breed discrimination!!!! Mav is an American Staffordshire terrier and he's wearing a muzzle. So he automatically gets an Rx for a sedative after being called aggressive. I rejected the Rx for the sedative as there WON'T BE a next appointment at Langley Animal Clinic

I found langley animal clinic online when I was price shopping to spay my cat. While I was quoted 4 times higher price on the north shore and felt I couldn't afford it here, I was very pleased with the reasonable charge at the clinic and the professional attention. When all was set and done I paid about $150 because of some extra stuff. No one guilted me to do any tests or unnecessary lab work prior to surgery. It's been a week that my cat has been spayed and she's recovering perfectly. I've seen 2 vets there so far and both have been outstanding. The reception is busy but the girls do their best. I don't mind driving 45 minutes to Langley to get good care for my pets at affordable prices. If you're on a budget, go to langley animal clinic, it's worth it.

Great people with great service. Only issue I had was they are busy when you try to call usually. Leave a message and they always call you back though.

Always excellent service here. The vet has many years of experience and is reasonably priced. His staff are always helpful and easy to talk to. Highly recommended if you live in Pitt Meadows.

I've been bringing my dog here for 9 years. In the last few months I've noticed the quality of service has gone down dramatically. They don't seem to keep good quality records for your account. Maybe I'm wrong, but shouldn't they have a record of the meds and what is due for refills? I've had to bring my dog in for blood tests where they said it should be 24-48hrs for results. I called 5 days later, left a message with no call back. I called the following day and they said they weren't ready yet. I can't refill all the prescriptions without the results. They have called me in for visits that are not necessary. That gets expensive not to mention the 45 minutes past the appointment time I had to wait. Expect to wait 10min on hold when you call. Lastly, they had to take some urine for testing. Maybe tell the customer that blood might visible in the urine after the procedure??

I am hosting a family who has been evacuated due to the flooding in Abbotsford. You know the recently declared BC State of Emergency. The veterinary hospital they typically use has been ordered to be shut down and remain evacuated by the City of Abbotsford. Unfortunately during the quick evacuation, the family forgot to grab Isaderm Gel for their cat. With the clinic being closed we are unable to get them to "just fax it over" (the prescription) to this clinic and will only prescribe it with an appointment. She is incredibly stressed out due to the recent events and dragging her out from under the bed to another vet appointment is not practical. Her sore on her back is so red and raw that I decided to come here in hopes of purchasing this gel for her. I have her recent invoice with the date and vet who prescribed this to her yet this clinic would not make any exception to sell this to me. While I understand there are rules and regulations that need to be followed however, it should not be this difficult during a STATE OF EMERGENCY to help an animal. Reception could have atleast inquired with someone above her to see if there is any possibility. Front desk was not very understanding or helpful at all.

I visited this click for several times. We visited less than 10 minutes but was charged $85 as extended visit. The vet didn't check my cat thoroughly , not professional at all. The front dest didn't explain the ways and procedures to file a complaint patiently, but hung up on clients impolitely. Totally irresponsible and not professional.

I went to get my cat neutered, the vet told me my cat has heart murmur ask me if I want to have ECHO and blood work. I told him "no thanks". first of all, I want to save money, secondly I know for such small procedure, the risk is minimal even though he will be under general anaesthetic, thirdly, I do not trust this vet's words. I picked up my cat in the evening, he made the procedure. Second day, I called my doctor friend and nurse friend who works in ER came to listen. They listened over and over, there is no murmur of heart. For all of you out there, if you choose this clinic and want to save money, they have all kinds of games to make you pay double.

Now this is a real vet office, real honest and realistic. Explained what was going on and received compassion for not just me but my cat. We went here after a terrible experience at the animal emergency clinic of the Fraser valley where they tried to rip us off; we came here and were heard, they assessed our cat and went through treatment where the vet here was honest. Highly recommended

I am here to final a complaint to this company. I brought my lamb for emergency last Wednesday night and after getting our baby lamb emergency treatment , we left and forgot one medical shot for our baby lamb for coming Friday morning treatment. The next day I went to this company and spent over almost 1 hour there, the staff could not find out where the medical shot was and then I got told the staff destroyed it and threw to garbage can. We found that was very unprofessional since most clinics/hospitals would just call the client to let them know they forgot to bring home and keep for clients to pick up. Then on friday, I tried to call them again and again no one picked up calls. I left message and eventually someone called me that the shot was ready for pickup. I was expecting to pickup right away and leave to bring for my baby lamb. Again, when I arrived, no one knew where the medical shot was and they had to call vet again to find out. I was there waiting for over 30 mins. This is ridiculous!! and it delayed the time I brought medicine to my baby lamb and when I arrived , he passed away. So far, I havent got any calls for apology. This is very unprofessional. The staff never pickup calls and service is poor. I will not recommend any to bring animals to this place. VERY POOR TRAINED STAFF AND NOT ORGANIZED.

It's where my cat's preferred vet moved to, she can't be guaranteed that she'll be the one who sees him but it's a noble cause

I went to the clinic for my puppy's vaccines last week, I was told that the rabies vaccine should be given separately. I told the vet that my friend's puppy just got his vaccines a few days ago, and their vet gave all the vaccines on the same day. My vet said that rabies might have some reaction, so I have to come to the clinic again in a week. I went to the clinic today, and they charged me $71.46 for the rabies vaccine. I was surprised because the vaccine was costly. My friend told me their rabies vaccine was about $25, and the clinic's website shows $26.07. The clerk said that an office visit fee was applied, which was $41.99 after a 30% discount. My puppy was not sick, and I didn't need to see a vet again in a week. I don't know the point of paying an extra office visit fee to get rabies separately since the rabies vaccine can be given together with other vaccines. I could get the rabies vaccine last week if they told me I had to pay an extra $42. I feel I paid extra money for nothing. I am not happy with their service.

This isn’t my vet but I’ve gone here before to buy special vet food for my cats. Their hours are great and they have a little store inside that sells vet food and farm vet supplies.

Vets are great to deal with. Front end staff can be a bit disorganized and the new phone answering system does not allow you to speak with anyone - you need to leave a voicemail. Often I wait 1-2 days to have my call returned.

My poor old cat needed some dental work. I was recommended here by a friend. After the initial consultation I was quoted $1800 for removal and all the other things. I knew it was expensive but my buddy was in pain. I dropped him off on schedule and the staff were on top of it. He was done and good to go before the day was up, and the work was really well done. Bonus - The work was cheaper than expected so I got a refund of nearly $600 from the pre-payment. Super awesome - many vets would have just kept it all.

Easy in/out and priced well. We had our GSD spayed and they were better priced than other vets. Operation was quick and with no lasting effects and their communication on pricing and expectations was great. When called, their response was 15 minutes. Took time to explain and go over things. Would recommend.???? Follow up our GSD came down with an infection that more than likely not by any fault of Langley animal clinic. The follow-up regarding this was professional and of highest quality. They cleaned up her incision put a couple of extra staples in and recommended some antibiotics. After a couple of weeks, took her back in and they took the staples out, again no charge. At no time did I feel that she was in danger or not being looked after. I highly recommend Langley Animal Clinic.

We recently had our dog spayed here and chipped. They were very professional, fast and inexpensive by comparison.
