I love this office so much I have not been able to bring myself to bring my new pet elsewhere even though my previous pet died and we moved an hour away. The vets have changed several times - always gentle and lovely, but the assistants are awesome.

Since the new owner, they seem to be pushing product and services. It didn't used to be that way.

Dr. Pfender is the best. She has treated my animals for many years. The staff are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this veterinary clinic.

Great care, reasonable prices and easy staff to deal with! Not much else you'd look for in a vet.

I absolutely love this little vet clinic. Dr. Pfaender has such a gentle demeanor and all of my pets have always been very comfortable going there. She is great at explaining everything clearly and answering any questions we've had.

My pets have been going to this clinic for approximately 18 years. The doctors are compassionate, realistic and there rates are beyond fair. I took someone else's pet to Small Creatures clinic in Walnutgrove and I will never step foot in that clinic EVER again. So...Aldor clinic has my vote all day long. Thank you for everything

Great staff, caring vet. Very affordable, do not pressure you at all. Just give you the information and answer all your questions. They helped my dog with her allergies and she is so much more herself. Thank you

Love the staff! Great vet! We've brought several animals here over the years and always felt like the staff new exactly what they were doing, and all of them seem to really care about animals. You don't feel like your walking into a vet who only wants your money, you feel like going to your friends place who just happens to know A LOT about animals.

I don’t know what has happened in the reception dept. but definitely not caring this is the second time this has happened to us as our vet. Our dog needed to see the vet with an emergency they had no room and no trying to fit us in directed us to go elsewhere approx 8 months ago. So Today our dog woke us up early to go out and noticed he had problems peeing then noticed peeing blood, called dr when opened explained what was going on. I was told no appointments today, I said don’t you leave room for emergency or case that needs to be seen her response yes normally we do but not today you will have to go elsewhere....not even put me on hold to see what they can do to help. I read that this happened to someone else in reviews as well. Hope the doctors read this so they can learn how their staff is not helpful to their existing patients and for them directing us elsewhere that’s what we will do....we will find a vet with better customer service and caring.

Best Veterinary clinic I have ever been to. Treat your animals with genuine care and love. Having moved recently and without a vet, my Boston Terrier was having an eye issue ...brought him to other vets that couldn’t diagnose the problem. Kept sending me home with drops nothing else. After a month of repeated visits to another vet we decided to get a second opinion from Aldor Vet. Upon meeting Dr. Christiane Pfaender she did a thorough examination of my dog and found what the other Dr.s had missed. Her bedside manner, respect and caring for my dog was something I have not seen from other vets. She talked to him the whole time and treated him like one of her own. Her staff go above and beyond and they are very fairly priced. After meeting her I will never go to another vet. They truly treat you like family and I am so happy we found them. My dog Sir Bentley a 9 year old Boston could not be happier either. Great care. Highly recommend!!!

Dr. Pfaender was recommended to us by a friend and we have been very happy with her as our vet for our cats and dogs. Incredibly caring and understanding, she doesn't put your animal through unwarranted procedures. She balances the need for diagnostics and treatment with common sense. Highly recommend!

This clinic use to be good but clearly times have changed. My biggest complaint is how over the past months I’ve found reception to be rude, mis- informative, and generally lack of care when trying to book an appointment. It’s almost like I’m inconveniencing them to schedule an appointment for concerns with my dog. …SERIOUSLY? They use to have a really good receptionist there, but I haven’t seen her in months? Probably moved on. Not sure what’s going on with this clinic but I will not be staying around to find out.

I had the most unfortunate experience with Aldor Veterinary Clinic today. I had awoken to my dog suffereing from large amounts of blood loss from her back side. Horrified and scared I phoned our vet at Aldor Vet clinic first thing in the morning. I was told they had no appointments available and that they could not help me. I explained that this was a situation that needed IMMEDIATE medical attention, preferably by my dogs family vet-still, they told me I could not be “fit in” . I then asked if the vet could tell me what to do or what might be happening. I was put on hold, only to be greeted moments later by another person at the clinic explaining that they could not help me and to try somewhere else. I am ABSOLUTLY HORRIFIED by the lack of compasssion and assistance from the staff here. I will not be returning and will be finding a vet with some compassion and common sense. To make matters worse, I was here several days earlier with my pup about an unrelated issue...whilst in with the vet-she and her staff were googling possible reasons my dog was suffering from a patch of hair loss-thanks-I think I can just google myself and save $100 ????

Don't get suckered in by their "free" first visit. This visit is just a ploy to get you to come in so they can tell you everything that is perceivably wrong with your pet and then print up a bunch of expensive quotes. Like others, I was told that my pet needed extensive bloodwork and surgery. Went to a different vet and turned out she was completely fine.

I absolutely would recommend Aldor Vet clinic and the two wonderful doctors who cared for my animal. I took my very sick cat in and the doctors and staff couldn't have been be more kind or caring. It didn't seem to be about the money, it definitely was about the health of my animal. They managed to get me in even though they were booked. They walked me through everything and guided me all the way.

Extremely disappointed with this clinic. We were saddened to have to say goodbye to part of our family. The experience we had is as follows: - the clinic was far behind schedule ( with all the anxiety of the whole issue it would have been nice to been at least told ) -we were not offered a room at least to even be together instead we were waiting in a room full of strangers -the technician who made the injection did not seem to know what she was doing as the vet had to correct her, heartbreaking as you could tell our dog was in pain and it made it all that much worse -during the procedure we were still not given a private room, we were in a room where other technicians walked in and out of -we also felt rushed to leave as it was past the time of closing -our entire visit with the exception of waiting anxiously lasted all of 5 minutes LACK OF COMPASSION

If you value your furry family members I suggest you go elsewhere, extremely disappointed by the service.

I was not happy with my visit at all. The receptionist is extremely confused. She had no idea what was going on or which appointment was next. The vet was worse - every little thing that I said about my dog she took as being a sign of an illness. My dog is completely healthy and happy at home. All of a sudden apparently he needs two surgeries and complete bloodwork and urinalysis. I took him in somewhere else for a 2nd opinion and they said he was perfectly fine. This vet tried to rip me off and run unnecessary tests and surgeries. I will never go here again.

Thank you to the wonderful staff at Aldor Veterinary Clinic for treating our cat after breaking her leg. The care and service we received was extraordinary. Thank you Dr. Moloney! And shout out to Melanie for the pink cast and Canadian flag heart!

It's always great to go down to Aldor, Dr. Pfander is a very kind and caring vet, with tons of experience. She was very good at helping me with an issue my cat was helping and managed to solve it before it got too bad. Made great recommendations to help prevent the issue. Great staff too, excellent atmosphere, even willing to do late night visits in emergencies!
