The Oakbrook Cat Rescue people are kitty angels! Because of them we have two beautiful fur babies that bring us so much joy. Send a monetary donation if you are able to. Help them to keep doing this very important work!

I am so thankful for Dani and her helpers! Due to health issues my brother could no longer care for his older cat but the team at Oakbrook saved the day. They were able to place Bootsie, a senior kitty, in a loving home - in just a few days. I live in California but Dani was easy to work with from afar and she was very kind to let me know the outcome of the situation. What a professional group! Please consider adopting from this group - or helping out in any other way. <3

Oakbrook Cat Rescue is amazing! They genuinely care who their cats go to and give tons of love to the cats in their care. My partner and I adopted a wonderful cat from them and it was a great experience all around. So grateful for them!

Oakbrook Cat Rescue is an amazing organization. I am glad I saw their poster at my local pet store. Their commitment to helping kitties in need shines through in every way. I reached out to Oakbrook about 2 sweet stray cats in my neighborhood who sheltered in a carport storage closet & would show up to my housing complex looking for food in the rain. Oakbrook was responsive and immediately connected me with Dani, who was incredibly kind, helpful, supportive & knowledgeable as we coordinated their rescue. If you adopt from this org you’re truly giving a cat a second chance at life — and a first chance at love, safety & family. If you can’t adopt, please consider donating.

Wonderful organization. They have such a big heart for the animals, and they care openly. Very well organized, and have tons of valuable resources to share. You will be very pleased if you adopt or foster through this great group. ????

We are a family that has two dogs and a cat. Oakbrook cat rescue helped us find the perfect fit for our needs based on the information I gave her. They are clearly people that genuinely care deeply about what they do and love these cats. Kelso our new little guy had no fear of our dogs or our other cat. He was relaxed and purring and happy the minute we got him home. He’s also completely up to date on all vet visits. We received a record of it when we adopted him. If you want someone to help you find the one for you then this is the place to go. She was extremely quick to respond to my Facebook message and so easy to work with and we are so happy!

We can't begin to explain how grateful we are for Oakbrook Cat Rescue. If you are looking for your first cat companion, or you have or had cat companions, Oakbrook is the place to start your search. They are volunteer and donation run, and foster their adoptable cats in loving homes. Dani helped us find our lovely kittens. She cares deeply for all their foster cats, and will find the right companion for your family. I would highly recommend reaching out on their facebook page. She responded quickly, ready to help answer all of our questions and find us a great fit. Dani genuinely wants to make sure that that my family and the kittens are happy, and she has continued to answer our questions even after we brought our kittens home. Also major bonuses they keep extensive health records of all their cats, they have an established connection with Tacoma Cat Hospital, and include your initial health vet visit in the adoption fees. Not to mention, they offer free nail trimmings at their adoption events! Thank you so much Oakbrook Cat Rescue!

I found Oakbrook Cat Rescue by chance and I am so glad I did. We already had a cat and my son wanted another one for his birthday. We found a super cute little kitten on their Facebook page and fell in love with her right away. We met with the foster mom at the Petco in Lakewood, while waiting we thought we’d check out the other cats they had. We ended up going home with 2! Garret and Bella are both the sweetest little things! They were up to date on their shots, spayed/neutered. Oakbrook Cat Rescue made the whole process very easy for us. Fast forward a few months, we found an abandoned kitty during the windstorms/heavy rain and made arrangement for Dani to pick him up. Unfortunately, she wasn’t able to make it due to an accident but she made sure that he got picked up either way. That shows the dedication that she has for these cats! He was adopted by a loving family 3 days later, only because of her. They really care about the cats they help and I would recommend them to anybody who is adding a cat to their family. Thank you for all that you guys do!!
