Old Dog Haven Lake Stevens, Washington

As a shelter volunteer in dog services for the past nine years, I am immensely grateful to Old Dog Haven for pulling the seniors least likely to be adopted and placing them in permanent loving homes. They are the most incredible friend to old dogs that ever was.

No other rescue in this area concentrates on senior dog rescue. I adore the seniors and have been rescuing them for years . This rescue is near and dear to my heart.

Older doggies need love too! This is a wonderful place where older dogs can hopefully find new homes. I've had an older rescue dog, Nova, and she was one of my best dogs ever!

A wonderful organization with a heart for housing homeless senior dogs. I encourage everyone who loves dogs to open their home to an old dog in need at some point in your life, it is so rewarding!

We have fostered for ODH FOR years They are a group of compassionate people, going above and beyond for old dogs. We have had nothing but positive experience, very prompt response, stayed with us and guiding us through medical emergencies, very respectful of our decisions. We are thankful for ODH, for without them, the lives of these old old souls might have ended differently.

A good experience. The Rueben and French dip sandwiches and onion rings were very tasty. The young waitress was exceptional. The decor was well suited for a restaurant called The Rusty Tractor. It reflected the farming community very well with antique and farm decor. Their Bar area would be great for watching sports with clean and open seating area.

They are doing something VERY important!

I would not refer to this organization as "no kill" because the Placement person just told me to euthanize my 93 y.o. mother's two unsocialized dogs. I am going to spend $1,300.00 on a pet relocation organization to move them to my state so that I can work with them to get them socialized and then rehomed here. The dogs are in perfect health, but they are fearful so they need someone to work with them. If you have less than "perfect" old dogs, don't bother contacting this agency as their 'only' resource is to KILL the dogs.

I emailed, as I was told to do and no one has gotten back to me. Too bad, because our vet recommended them. Turns out I didn't need them anyway. I found a perfect home for our dog.
