Pup Scrub Kirkland, Washington

Tried to get a nail trim and was told it was walk-in only, and that I should come by at a certain day and time to have the best chance of a short wait. We went by, and they weren't allowing anyone in the store due to COVID, and we had to stand outside. There was no way to ring a bell or anything to let them know we were waiting for them and not just randomly standing on the sidewalk. No one looked over at us for a long time, and then they came out and said they were really busy, and could I come back in 20 minutes? I said okay, and we walked around the block a bit and sat on a bench which was okay because on that day the weather was reasonable. Went back in 20 minutes, waited for someone to come out and greet us, and a different person came out, this time telling us they were too busy and to come back at 4, which was like an hour and a half later. I told her I was concerned that I was going to come back at 4 and be turned away again, and she told me to call first. So I called at 4 and was told they were too busy and to try again in the morning. When I told the person I spoke to about what had happened, and that this made me think I would be turned away again in the morning, she didn't offer any resolution, simply said I had to try again. You'd think after turning away someone 3 times in one day who was obviously trying to give them money, they would maybe apologize for the inconvenience, maybe make an exception and book me an actual appointment, but neither happened so I gave up and went to a different groomer. Super disappointed.

Great setup for pup washing. Friendly, helpful staff and very clean wash tubs. Great working height for washing and platforms for smaller dogs, ramps to get in and out of wash tubs. Highly recommended!

Dropped our cockapoo and said we wanted his hair to remain long, just trim a little and clean up his paws, underside. He came back shaved with a summer cut :( We asked what happened if he had mats? They said no, his legs had some tangles that were hard to get out. Disappointed and won’t be going back. (Before pic nice long hair. After, naked doggy! Haha and ugh)

The overcharge for services and are very unpleasant to deal with. Spend your money elsewhere.

I visited for the first time today for an unscheduled nail trim. The check-in process was simple even with covid guidelines, the groomer was quick to finish the service, and they were very accommodating for my nervous dog. Her nails look great! The price point is perfect as well, and the surrounding shops had a quaint, enjoyable feel.

When we first moved to the area... this happened to be our local spot. We've since moved, but still go back. They are the best in town.

I have been taking my dog to pup scrub for 3 years now and today was the last time. From start to finish of my experience today I am disappointed in the level of professional from this shop. I booked my dogs for a bath and tidy trim. I was not told My dogs would only be seeing one technician when I booked. If I had know this was the case I would have booked them individually like I initially asked but the lady said it was better to come together. We arrived for our appointments at 8:40 am and was told they couldn't find my profile, weird since I have been a guest for several years (they don't care about this they only care about the $$). The service and technicians have only gotten worse over the years. We kept coming due to our dogs knowing them and being comfortable with the staff. After 3 hours I called to check in and was told it would be another 20 mins. Again, I was not told only one person was working on my dogs. After another 40 mins I went to see what was going on. I was greeted by the gentlemen who was working on my dogs and right away he starting lecturing me on how horrible (his words) my dogs were. I was shocked and asked them to stop the service as I felt very uncomfortable having my dogs in such a hostile environment. My dogs have never been talked about like this from previous employees who have worked on them that's why we have come back. I then was rudely greeted by the owner who came out and screamed at me and dropped my dogs leash. She's lucky he did not run away by the amount of distress he was in. If they treated my dogs like that in front of me I can only imagine how they were treated while I wasn't there. I have recommended many people to come here and that will not happen anymore. The owner is very unprofessional and does not care about the well being of your dogs. Happy to recommend other small business groomers in the area who provide better service, care about your dogs well being and are much less expensive with more experience.

Every time I've called, i can't get my dog in. I can't wash my own dog, or even get my dog in before a dog show. Very disappointed, i used to bring my dog here since it opened, but I'll need to find another location

Extremely rude and unprofessional!! We were returned for a nail trim which is a walk in on a weekday by a staff member!! We were willing to wait since we only came for a nail trim but the lady was extremely dismissive!!!! We have used this place in the past and were told each time that nail trims didn't need appointments. Which makes sense. But to be dismissed because you don't have the courtesy or patience to talk with a client was appalling. Extremely disappointed!!!

I have never experienced such an unprofessional business. Jackie was not giving me time to talk or understand the service she was going to do on my new puppy. I am new to the area and wanted to make sure what my puppy would be receiving. She ended our phone conversation abruptly and I was left not understanding what was going on. She called me back and said she was canceling my appointment. Not the best way to treat a new customer at all. Not recommended ????

Very surprised at the rude manner in which we were dismissed by the staff member. A bad or and busy day at work does not excuse you from being discourteous and unhelpful. Extremely disappointed as we alway greeted by courteous and professional staff before!!!

Pup Scrub provides a great grooming service for my dog. They are affordable, great service and always timely.

If you have a short haired dog wash it yourself please. Do the nails yourself. They won't take of it like they said. My dog was scared. I made an appointment to get the "full package" which includes dog teeth being cleaned and other things. But instead I got frayed nails and a scared dog with a blown anel glands along with red eyes like someone put soap in them. But hey he was soft...ill never bring him back to this place. Ever. F them.

Amazingly fast and courteous service! The woman I met today- who's name I unfortunately didn't catch- dealt very patiently with the customer after me, who looked her in the face as she asked him to stop his dog from marking the outside column and let the dog finish, before shrugging his shoulders and saying, "Well, you can't stop them partway!" Who does that? This saint of a woman still did that dog's nails afterwards. Incredible.

It was my first time with two of my Golden Retrievers and I had a great experience. Stuff is super nice and friendly. It was also very easy to make an appointment. I’m so happy how they treated my puppies. The groomer was Deborah, she did an AMAZING job :) Both of my puppies looked so clean and professionally groomed. I was pleasantly surprised and really appreciated they took care of all my requests I asked in advance. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this place! Thank you very much PupScrub team!

They did a fantastic job for my puppy. They really care about the dog not the money. They do whatever is safe and the best for the pet.

When I lived in Kirkland, I always took my 2 little dogs to PupScrub to get their nails trimmed. They are always nice and treat my fur babies with lots of love and attention. Very very nice people own and run this business and I recommend this place highly!!!

They made the experience easy and very pleasant for my husky's first time at a groomers! I'm so happy at how they treated my pup and me. We will definitely be back and they are highly recommended! Blu thanks you Pup Scrub!

A bit high priced, but they are in a high rent area. They got the pup in right away and took good care of her. She left happy.

Very good all the other places I went to mess up my dog but they do it fast and good

Molly (Shih-Poo) and Bailey (Bichon Frise) went for their first groom there today and the team did a fabulous job! They asked questions and listened attentively, checked all was in order with their vaccines. Our doggies turned out perfect, we couldn’t be happier with the groom and would highly recommend!!

I loveee loveee this place. I have a small Pomeranian, and every time i have been here they do a great job. They do a very professional haircut that looks like just what you ask for. Staff is very nice and responsive all the time. Best place i could have ever been to. Highly recommended:)

Fast and reliable nail trim

This business is a LIFE SAVER! Brought my unruly dog here to get her nails clipped and they dealt with her like complete professionals! My dog turns into an absolute BABY when getting her nails clipped and thinks they are going to kill her. Other staff members had to stop their grooming jobs to assist in the clipping of my dogs nails. AFTER ALL OF THAT the groomer came out of the shop, all the while I was profusely apologizing, and she said “Oh boy she really doesn’t like that. Bring her back once a month and she’ll get used to it!” INCREDIBLE! They invited us back. We have gone back a few times now and she hasn’t gotten better yet, but I hope she does.

They are always safe with my pet.

First time here with my pup. He was cared for very well and did a great job grooming him. I will be back.
