I'd never had a problem in the 5 years I've been going here with my bobtail, but I'll be looking for a new vet after the serious lack of professionalism by the receptionist. I understand being short staffed and busy, but this is no reason to take your frustrations out on a customer and blame them over time of arrival (especially when within five minutes of the appt).

Friendly staff that listened to my concerns and worked with me to come up with a plan that worked well for me and the heath of my cats.

I brought my cat in for a physical and rabies shot. He is a large cat and he does not like to be prodded or manipulated. He is generally a nice cat but he can be vicious is he doesn't like what you are doing. I expected any vet to be able to deal with it. It's their job. After commencing the physical they gave up and refused to treat the cat. They said that I needed to go to a vet that specializes in cats. That's crazy. Don't take you cats to this vet!

I recommend this clinic 100%, all the staff is very professional and nice. They love their job and pets. They treated my dog for an earn infection and she is recovering very fast. I am glad this clinic exists. Appointment was smooth and no waiting time. Also you can enter with your pet, everything is super clean and the service is very personal. Love the effort they do due Covid and restrictions. Thanks a lot for being such a great help for the community!

We strongly DO NOT recommend this animal hospital! We were hopeful after seeing the great ratings, but now think they may have been fake reviews….They take advantage of you and prey on your love for your pet. All of the hidden charges make this vet much more expensive than any other vet we’ve been to. They explain one medication, and then charge you for a medication that is 3x as expensive because the other one is ”actually not available”. This happened with multiple medications on the same appointment and they did not tell us the price differences…we only noticed after checking our invoice. They do not explain anything, and get upset when you ask questions. When I asked how to apply an eye cream, since eye drops were not available, the response was “uhhh you just put it on the eye”. The vet made us feel stupid for asking how to properly use a medication we were not familiar with. We also got our dog back and he was bleeding after they cleaned his toenail…we were then charged additional fees when they bandaged his foot to correct the mistake.

As always, the care is impeccable towards our pets. Also if you are planning on taking your dogs or cats overseas, this is the vet to go. All the information is up to date and will not put your loved ones at risk. Thank you

Doctor G is nothing more than a used car salesman, he cares more about generating revenue than the quality of care to the patients He hired unqualified support staff and directs them to "up sell" all the Apts that come in BEWARE, Nice buildings don't always mean good practice

Sorry to say, despite some kind, well intentioned doctors, we can't recommend this spot. Our dog was put on medications, while he was suffered multiple, recurrent grand mal seizures, that actually promoted seizures. And the front desk staff is highly immature and at times, downright rude and mean-spirited on the phone. Won't mention specific veternarian names, and it is possible that since we frequented this Vet, things have changed, it has been several years since we gave up on the place. (trying to be fair with this assessment) Also, extremely expensive, as an aside.

We have been visiting " Happy Visit" every Tuesday. It's good experience for sensitive dogs.

I made an appointment for my cat who was having some things going on i was concerned about and I had to make the appointment on line for him they sent me two choice I picked one they confirmed. But when I got to the appointment the person on the phone said it hadn't been confirmed. She didn't offer to fix the mistake or make a new appointment or anything . She seemed bored and bothered that she had to deal with me at all. My cat was taken to emergency care a diagnosis with a serious condition that could have killed. Find a place who isn't so business focused snd actually gives a darn about the animals and customers

Even during covid they were great! I couldn't go in for my dogs first appointment but even still the doctor was great and listened to my concerns and my dog was treated very well!

My 15 year-old kitty was ill and the staff and doctors made me feel that my decision to euthanize was my own and also did so with no judgement. Due to COVID, I wasn’t allowed into the initial exam room, but they did make a goodbye available and also offered to let me in during the actual process of putting her down. Very compassionate staff. Thank you ????

First visit the doc appt fee is waived, which was super nice. But the doc here are against raw feeding which I do not agree with. Staffs were super sweet.

Everyone was very nice and friendly. They managed to get my cat in right away and seem to like their jobs and care about the patients. The veterinarian called and explained treatment plan, offered follow up care plan and answered all of my questions. It is nice when you feel like you have left your pet with people who care as much as you do for them. Glad that I found them and if you are looking for a place that really cares make an appointment with them. You won't have to look anywhere else because you will have selected the best. ????

Be careful if you bring your pet here while you can't be in the room with them! I was looking for a Vet clinic closer to my new house and brought one of my Persian cats for an annual check-up. I didn't have any health concerns other than to just check he wasn't having any issues with scar tissue from his rhinoplasty years ago and get his updated shots. When the vet called during his appointment to walk through what she saw, she immediately told me that she wouldn't recommend him getting the vaccines because he was really not feeling well. This really surprised me and I asked her a few times what she meant and if she really thought he wasn't feeling well, I hadn't noticed anything. I was in shock that I would've missed that kind of change in him. She casually said she wanted to do a few tests, but never once mentioned how much they cost. She thought he had an eye infection, an ear infection and a respiratory infection :( Had I been in the room with him, I could've pointed out to the vet what was normal for a Persian and that he wasn't sick. Instead, I ended up having to pay $600 for a visit that should've only been $200!!! Had I gone ahead with everything the vet recommended and the vaccines, the bill would've been almost $900!!!!! I couldn't believe it! After I paid the $600, they brought my cat back out to me and said that he didn't end up having an ear infection or an eye infection (respiratory test came back negative as well, a few days later). At first I just thought that the cost for the Annual Exam at Juanita Hills was just a lot more than I was used to paying, so I didn't look at the invoice right away. After a week, I found a few invoices from my previous vet and saw that the last Annual Exam I did was less than $200. When I finally looked at the detailed invoice from Juanita Hills, I saw that the tests the vet casually recommended, almost tripled the total cost of the visit. Not only do I not trust this clinic, but I also can’t afford any more vet bills after this so I wanted to get the fecal test removed from the bill. I tried email, but after not getting a response, I called the clinic. I asked to speak to the billing team and the lady that originally answered just asked me what my question was. I told her I was not inclined to bring my cats back to the clinic and I didn't want to finish go forward with the fecal test as I didn't want to pay for anything more. She put me on hold to go ask (she obviously was not the one to ask about billing), when she returned, she said it was included and not something that could be separated. I repeated how upset I was with the visit and then she just laughed as though she heard this a million times. This is not the experience I am used to a Vet clinic. I am used to Vets and receptionists that actually care about my pets and not only about how much money they can get out of the pet parents :( I don't understand how a company can so easily take advantage of the situation, especially in a time like we are going through now.

Dr. Rachel and staff go above and beyond!! Definitely five stars. They're extremely friendly, transparent, and professional. I couldn't be more happy with how they've helped my pit bull Rocco. Although I'm sure they're very busy, it always seem they give Rocco full attentiveness when he's there. Thank you for all you do!!!

We started taking our cats to Juanita Hills Animal Hospital when we lived in the neighborhood and we still take them there even though we live in Everett, they are that good. The vets and staff are all very friendly and compassionate. They are not afraid to advocate for your cats when they feel that something needs to be done for them that we as owners have slacked on. I have only experienced informative polite visits and the process are reasonable. They also have policies that reduce the cost of subsequent visits for the same problem within a time period, which I think is a very honorable and honest practice. I will continue taking my pets here and recommend this office to my friends and family in the area.

I usually don’t write online reviews, but Dr. Heidi Miller is one of the best veterinarian hands down in all my years of being a pet parent and living in 4 different cities. My husband, fur babies and I moved from The NYC area, 4.5 years ago, not knowing anyone in Seattle. Finding a veterinarian/clinic we trust, that is on top of their game as well as empathetic was difficult. We had to go by Yelp or Google reviews. The first place we went to was fancy and way overpriced practice in SLU. Let’s just say it wasn’t a good fit. The veterinarians not only mixed up our dogs’ files up, but the vet techs thought one of our dogs was abnormal because he’s an Aussie who barks, because he’s scared to go to vets (which most dogs are nervous when they go to a vet clinic). We needed to find a new place ASAP. Our 15 year old Beagle needed surgery. We were lucky when a nice neighbor recommended their veterinarian clinic, where we ended up having great luck with (Maple Leaf Pet Corner which is unfortunately closed). Dr. Miller was one of the head veterinarians there at the time. She was absolutely amazing when we had to put our beloved, 16.5 year old Beagle to rest on Halloween of 2016! I was truly grateful for her incredible kindness as he was my first fur baby. His younger Aussie brother was so depressed about losing him and she was great with advice how to help him cope as we were coping with such a huge loss. Two months later, she was wonderful when we brought in our 7.5 week old Australian Shepherd Puppy (our second Aussie) and new brother/companion for our other one. We had some issues with the older Aussie adjusting to the puppy. Over a year ago, after Dr. Miller left this practice, we needed advice how to proceed with treating the second Aussie, who started to get seizures at age 2.5 yrs old. We were able to call her up for her for a second opinion/advice. She was more than happy to be an advisor, whether or not we were seeing her or someone else for treatment. We decided to follow her to over her next clinic as we 100% trust both of our fur babies with her expertise, empathy, thoroughness and straightforward, no BS approach to treatments. Doesn’t try to up-sell anything like our very first veterinarian experience in SLU. Dr. Heidi Miller is now at Jaunita Hills Animal Hosptial. We originally read mixed reviews about the place, but we were specifically seeing her only, so it didn’t matter to us. Apparently, we were informed the place was bought out with an entire knew veterinarian team and staff. We are willing to drive 30-45 minutes depending on the traffic from Wallingford to Kirkland. That’s how special Dr. Heidi Miller is as well as this hospital is! Again, she’s whip smart, great sense of humor, truly cares not only about your dogs, cats, etc, but their human parents as well. The front staff are refreshingly, super friendly, helpful and do a great job making sure your pet insurance is sent with your bill via fax after paying your bill. They greet And remember your fur babies names (remember which one is which). They also make reminder calls if your pet is due for bloodwork, upcoming appointments. I think everyone who works there either has a dog or a cat. The vet techs are also fabulous not only to your fur babies, but to you as well. They do a great job personalizing your experiment to with welcome signs for your fur babies each visit in the exam rooms. They seriously listen to your concerns too. They have brought in a new professional groomer too, which we are so excited about. Finding a good groomer is not easy to find either in the Seattle area! The hospital looks brand new and nicely designed. The exam rooms are big too, which helps if you have two high energy dogs like ours. I honestly don’t know what I’d do without Dr. Miller. I highly recommend this Hosptial as well. It says a lot that my husband and I are willing to schlep from Wallingford across Lake Washington to Kirkland for our two fur babies welfare and our own piece of mind knowing they are in great hands!

The staff at Juanita Hills Animal Hospital truly care about your animals and deliver great care. We have had our 3 dogs treated by them and they take such good care of both the dogs and my girlfriend. We could not recommend their team and the care they give to your animals more.

What a great team of techs and doctors. I have a French Bulldog with a host of health issues and they always do all they can to make sure that he's well taken care of emotionally and physically. He's definitely got allergies that I never knew how to treat long term until I spoke with both Dr. Tine and Dr. Wiese! Will never take my pets anywhere else!

The care for the animals is good. The covid-19 procedures are excellent. There is a bit of push to do things that cost more. The clinic uses the owners love for their pets to make money. Your mileage might vary...

Took my extremely difficult 5 lb dog Oliver and met with Dr. Wiese and Leslie and they were honestly two of the greatest Dr. and assistant combo that have dealt with Oliver. Leslie was amazing and able to burrito Oliver carefully so he couldn’t move and bite, and Dr Wiese was able to examine him. I’m so happy I was told about these drs, as we had nowhere else to turn. Coming back for a haircut in 3 weeks. Thank you ladies. Your the best!

Most of the doctors have been great. The front desk staff is problematic. I've waited over 30 minutes for a nail trim multiple times. My bill and charges are different every time I go in. It seems to take them forever to fill a prescription. They often forget to call after saying they will get back to me. Depending on who you talk to, the policies change. So frustrated with the front desk service, I'll be finding another clinic.
