Super friendly staff took great care of my sweet boy

I have always had positive experiences at VCA’s in Portland. So we decided to make this our primary care for our three herding dogs. The vet and tech were awesome. Very kind appreciated our active dogs and gave good care. It was nice to see a vet who seemed to love her job.

Wonderful care! Great scheduling options, friendly and easy check in & check out process The Dr called and went over all care options and their costs. They've been my go to for pet care for 20 years now.

Expensive services but well worth it if you love your pet the veterinarian was very kind and informative

The vet Flannery is super nice and helpful. She even called to check on my dog the next day to make sure he was doing well. I highly recommend them to everyone that loves their fur baby.

I have been going here for several years and my dog has received nothing short of above and beyond care! All of the vets at this animal hospital are amazing, but Dr. White I’d exceptional and I am so grateful for the staff here. My dog had bilateral TPLO surgery among several other emergencies and VCA was always able to see her the next day after an urgent or emergency situation! They are amazing here!

I just wanted to say thank you to the people who work at this location. Today I brought in some stray kittens that were found. I had no appointment. I just took them in because they were closest and one of the kittens was in desperate need of help. Without hesitation they immediately took such fast action and care trying to help the poor little kitty. I am so grateful that there are people who truly care about the animals here.

Such an amazing vet hospital. Have taken my pugs there a few times over the last 10 years. Never had an issues. Staff have always been super kind and sympathetic. My 10 yr old blind pug George got attacked by a neighbors extremely aggressive dog. He got 5 puncture holes in his face and head. One on the back of his neck got very infected. The vet that was working with George had told me what was needed to do and what the chances were of his wound/hole could heal from the inside out with out getting reinfected. I wish I could remember her name. Very professional she was. I wasn't prepared for what I saw they had to do with him. He ended up healing very well. I was given very thorough instructions and supplies to care for him. He ended up healing very very nicely. Would not hesitate to come in here for trusted vet care.

They love animals and it shows! We bring in our furbabies for their shots, bumps, and/or other needs. They will work with you for appointment times and with medication choices. Best vet clinic in the area.

I have had a good experience taking my pets to 12 Mile and this is the first time I have felt the need to review the company. The vets we have seen are thorough and sensitive but the front office has a lot to learn about how to speak with someone that has concerns and issues with a sick animal and have been treated rudely and callous in my experience and am at a loss as to the amount of power the one person has exhibited - only to be told that I can not get an appointment, cannot purchase a mild diet food without a prescription and no instructions on how to control what I considered to be a serious condition with my dog. I don't want to look for a new provider, but the unprofessional, irresponsible, irritating front line should be looked at.

They've always been there for me and my furbaby now how unexpectedly the call.

They are helpful and very friendly and have a lot of knowledge. I Always get my prescription cat food here. They make it very easy and convenient. Price is, well not up to them lol. Easy and quick just a phone call and a text payment later and on our way.

Told me i owe money when i had the bank statements to prove ive been paying really a headache

My first visit was with my dog. Dr. Flannery explained every thing about his exam. She called promptly with the results of his tests.I was very pleased.

We had to put our precious baby down and they gave us all the time with him that we needed❤

Great individuals who worked well and did amazing with my puppy. Glad I brought her here for her first visit as they d is so well with her and any needs she would have!

I took my older dog here to have a check up on some health issues she has been having. The staff here took great care of my dog, they were very friendly, and were more than willing and able to answer all my questions

Please be kind to your veterianarians and their staff . So many things happen behind the scenes to ensure your kiddos are safe, and with staff shortages and increased patient loads, that's not an easy task. Be patient. Dont complain about the wait time and the lack of appointment availability. Say thank you instead of f*** you. Itll go a long way.

Brought my dog rambo in for a bad spin in his ear to find out he had an ear infection. They were very prompt and caring And the price wasn't bad

Back in December, my dog got really sick. I thought that we were going to lose him. He had an absess, that was quite large in size. VCA took care of him, like he was family. He was back to his rambunctious self in weeks. His surgery was so sudden, and they made it happen. They even worked with me on a payment plan. I had no idea how I would make it all happen, but they walked me through every step. I even got to bring my other dog along, as much of a pain as she was. They saved my dogs life. They talked to my son about the care they were providing for our dog, and made us very comfortable. I will always take my dogs to this office. The care and consideration they provided will never be forgotten. Thank you VCA! Also to add in.. the staff was texting and calling me after the surgery to make sure that our boy was okay. Very appreciated.
