Dr. Chris and his staff are very knowledgeable and hardworking. They always treat my pets like their own and answer all the dumb questions I have. I wouldn't take me dogs anywhere else.

What a joke of a place

This place has been my go-to for pet needs for a while. The staff is small, friendly, kind, professional and responsive. I think the biggest thing for me is you can REALLY tell the staff cares for animals and not that it's just a paying job. My cat even felt at ease on their rooms. The staff has remained the same since I started going which also tells me they are a great cohesive group with the same vision. I had to put my cat down this last week and while I remain heart broken, the staff treated me and my cat so kindly and with dignity and respect.

This place is phenomenal! Our dog Hoss broke his dew claw and they were able to quickly get us in to have him checked out. When Hoss was a pup he got his paw caught in the car door and as a result he’s super sensitive and fearful about having his feet handled. It’s something we’ve worked hard to desensitize for him but it’s a long road. I mention this to say that I was really impressed with the way the folks here interacted with Hoss. They were patient and gentle with him and his insecurities which is worth a lot when you’ve been putting in time to help your dog overcome a phobia. Thanks to the quality of the care he received here, Hoss was able to have his paw treated without creating further trauma! I’ve been working professionally with dogs for over 17 years (including work in veterinary clinics) so I have high expectations and standards when it comes to my fur babies and I just can’t say enough good things about Fifth Avenue Vet. You can tell they genuinely care and will treat your pets compassionately. We will definitely be back :) Thanks y’all!!!

Chris is a fantastic veterinarian. He is dedicated to evidence-based medicine and is very clear about how and why is making the recommendations he does. He is the vet that other vets I have known take their pets to. He is also especially knowledgeable on dentistry and has gone far and above the training and knowledge required for general practice vets. I highly recommend Fifth Ave.

An excellent vet in the Edmonds area. Will respond either by phone or email promptly. Great and easy location, clean and healthy facilities. They advise straight up as to the needs for your animal without trying to sell additional services. The Dr. always gives options, which is an important factor when weighing services for your furry loved one!

Started out really impressed with these folks. They were super with other dogs. Unfortunately that didn't last long. Our elderly dog started having problems and this outfit was no help. We were told repeatedly they were too busy to help our dog and to take him elsewhere, but please follow-up. Don't bother following up, they never respond nor do they ever call to check on your pet after having had to take them elsewhere. Keep looking if you value your companion.

Can't say enough good things about Fifth Ave Animal Hospital! I have been there on multiple occasions and my cat's needs have been thoroughly addressed each time without fail. Dr. Chris is cost conscious, explores multiple options, and his vet tech Jill is the friendliest lady ever! My cat seems comfortable visiting the vet and that is really important to me. I highly recommend them for quality and compassionate veterinary care!

I have been bringing my cats to Fifth Avenue Animal Hospital since we moved to Edmonds almost three years ago. They are a wonderfully caring team, willing to take the time to talk to me about concerns, to offer support, and they give high quality care. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new vet care provider.

They said walk in clinic but when I arrived they gave me a card to another vet and said they don’t have room or time for my cat today.

Our animals like the vet

We transferred from another Edmonds Vet clinic and found a place where our beloved lab felt comfortable enough to walk thru the front door at each visit on his own without coaxing. As we worked through his last 2 geriatric years- this was a place full of love, compassion, good health care and advice. We had some dental work done, xrays and testing and comfort care near the end of our pets' life. Finally, with great leadership and care, they helped us say goodbye in a kind way to our beloved Cowboy.

Haven't been here, but the Dr. sent me a nice email answering some questions I had and they seem to have competitive pricing and the facilities look very nice from the outside!

Great attention to all aspects of my dogs health! The staff and the doctor was willing to take the time necessary to thoroughly examine and assess my french bulldog's health issues. The attention to all aspects of my dogs health beyond the immediate issue that prompted my visit has helped my dog's comfort immensely. The caring and courteous staff was able to fit me in at the last minute, and was willing to work around my schedule. My pick for one of the top veterinarians in North Seattle.

Well I guess I should have seen all the warning signs,place was empty, tech so useless she couldn't lift my dog with hurt paw onto scale pulled by choke chain with hurt foot, got to listen to dr adderall who never shuts up try and up sell me on dental work while my dog with painful bloody torn toenail had to listen to dr on and on again talk for 45 minutes yes that would have been a great deal had he done anything, this dr didn't even examine my dogs paw before he tried to schedule us for a surgery 2 full days later, beware of dr on and on again, they will promise services to get u in the door to sell u dental work for your dog , paid my bill went to a real vet who was able to thankfully get my dog out of pain immediately, without any need at all for unnecessary surgery and sedation, which dr on and on again may or may not have been able to determine had he shut up and examined my dogs foot. Good luck with your new practice cris or owner whichever name you choose to use to try and form some sort of online defense for your poor and inadequate services.

Trained staff, knowing how to handle any kind of situation, whether it is good or bad (in my experience), regarding your pet. In our waiting time, one of the assistants fed our dog, and gave her water, which was very comforting. I appreciate them knowing how to handle situations (giving us grace), being welcoming and having their location be in Edmonds.

Dr. Garg and his team are amazing. We have experienced superb care and beside manner while bringing our dog to Fifth Animal Animal Hospital. Dr. Garg is an honest doc who has made us feel very comfortable and confident with the care our dog recieved!

I was 10 minutes late because they have no visible signs for parking and could not find a parking spot. Finally I found a spot and had to walk four blocks to get to the place. When I went in the receptionist was on the phone and I had to wait an additional 5 mins making me 15 mins late and then she told me that I was too late and they canceled my appointment. This is such an inconvenience to me and very bad customer service on their part. I will not be returning here.

Today was my first visit to Fifth Avenue Animal Hospital. I brought my 3 year old Vizsla in for a wellness exam and have scheduled a follow up dental cleaning. We spent time discussing canine nutritional needs and identifying some next steps for my dog. The facilities are clearly state of the art and Dr. Garg and Jill are exceptionally friendly and experienced. I would highly recommend Fifth Avenue Animal Hospital.

Exceptional, personal care. Managed a very difficult experience with grace and respect. Couldn't recommend them more.
