Meg was absolutely fabulous, she talked to my teenager and answered all her questions about what bird is best for beginners, everything she’d need, etc. She kept us informed of while we waited for the day our baby was ready to come home. She is only a phone call away when we have questions or concerns. Our little Kiko girl is absolutely perfect!!!

I've done a lot of business with Meg through the years. I've purchased several large and small breeds from her. They all come to me healthy and clearly loved, and ready to open their hearts to me. If I ever am concerned, all I have to do is call because she'll answer any and all of my questions. And even the babies from her that are the oldest recognize her voice when we talk on the phone and they always want to talk to "Mama Meg." It is clear she always feels that the birds she sends to homes are hers at heart. She will always view them as hers, and always wants what best for them.

*Edit* Meg your response is lies. Again, blame buyer zero accountability. You have zero proof. I never wanted nor did I ask for a weaned bird. You said "that's how conures bond". I asked what formula you use because you gave me a ziploc bag with very little formula telling me the bird is 12 weeks when clearly it was only maybe 5 weeks. I have MANY people reaching out to me that have received sick birds from you. STOP LYING AND SELLING SICK BIRDS. Horrible unethical bird/puppy breeder. Runs a mill out of her home and uses every excuse to meet you somewhere so you don't see the unsanitary conditions. Sells sick unweaned birds. Mine died less than 36hrs. Zero refunds and will deny victim blame with everyone that has this experience, zero accountability. Check out Facebook Whidbey birds chit chat group to see real horrible experiences with Meg. She can't hide the reviews there. I have to go to court to get my money back and I will continue to advocate for these animals until she is exposed and shut down.

she was nice in person but did not tell me that we would need to order formula before making the 9 hour trip to Washington. she also has yet to give me the birth certificate for the Indian ring neck I bought from her

My experience with Meg has been so amazing we had had to wait until our babies were ready and down to 2 feedings before they came home with us and I was so impatient because it took 3 months before our babies came home, but that is how professional she is. She makes sure that the babies are ready and the right age to go home. Even when I would check in quite a few times over 3 months she was kind and answered all of my questions and made sure we had a tote and a heating pad. I have had only positive experiences with Whidbey Birds and we have our babies now and they are thriving and my baby is singing that sweet violin song that makes me smile and heart is so full right now thanks to our friends that we will be getting more baby birds from in the future????

I have been in contact with Meg about getting a Macaw and have now become a new owner of a 7 week old Catalina Macaw. Meg has been very helpful and would recommend her if anyone is interested in getting one of her birds.

I got a lovely little green Linnie boy from here! He is a little shy fry but never does more than nibble on my fingers when I pick him up. He is a healthy little clown and I am looking forward to seeing how he grows as he reachs adulthood!

I had the pleasure of talking to Meg for about a year now about getting a bird. She has been very patient and kind as I was going through a big transition of moving and my health was not that well, I kept making payments and then when I was ready I got my baby yesterday. He is a Pionus ....Meg is such a good advisor and breeder she stays in contact with you anytime you have any questions and have a lot of knowledge about the birds that she breeds. THIS PLACE IS EXTRA SPECIAL. I GOT MY BIRD FROM THEM AFTER MY FAMILY HAD GOTTEN I THINK ABOUT 7 BIRDS FROM THEM. MY BIRD CAME TO BE IN GREAT SHAPE READY TO BE LOVED AND HUGGED. I AM GETTING ANOTHER BIRD FROM HER THIS YEAR A MACAW. I HAVE CALLED THEM AT 2 IN THE MORNING AND THEY ANSWER MY SILLY QUESTIONS. MY VET IS THE SAME ONE MY FAMILY USES AND HE IS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE QUALITY OF THE BIRDS HE SAID YOU CAN TELL WHEN A BABY IS WELL TAKEN CARE OF SO EVEN HE RECCOMENDS HER ... KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK AND GET THOSE MACAWS TO LAY SOME EGGS SO I CAN GET MY NEXT BABY

Meg is amazing ! We got our Indian Ringneck Picasso from her we couldn’t be happier that we had chosen her as our breeder . She is a retired Vet tech and doing this for a long time she is available 24/7 for us even if it’s just a silly question she is so helpful. We follow all her instructions for our baby when we got him and we have a healthy beautiful bird .

My mom purchased 4 birds from her over 5 years. I just got my first one from her last year and this lady is amazing. I deal with people all the time in my job and her dedication in making sure that you get the right bird that fits you is uncanny. I had it in my mind to get a macaw. Most business would just say yes go for it... But I was so impressed that she said that this would not be the right fit for me to start out with a smaller bird. I am so glad I listen to her. Her handouts are amazing that she gives out with her birds. And she does have a great contract that spells out exactly what will happen. My bird is amazing. She was very open with issues that were brought up in the past and sent me court documents showing that the judge ruled in her favor that the facts these people are stating are wrong and the judge even pointed that out in the court document. The bird in question did not die they put it to sleep it had pneumonia per the vet record and the vet was not even a certified avain vet. This bothers me a lot since I am in the medical field and see this all the time that someone gets sick and they want to blame it on others.. But I am glad that she did not let that bother her. She keeps great records of her birds testing. My bird came to me in great condition it popped out of it little crate and was loving on me right away. We are in separable. I now feel I am ready to get another bird and there is nobody I would rather get a baby from then Whidbey Birds..

I got my maui sunrise macaw from meg she is great meg does all the testing before you get your baby and dna my little girl is diseases free and she is the most sweetest macaw i uave ever meet i will definently be buy my future birds from meg

My name is Mr. Mortimer Bones and I am a caique, born and hand fed by Whidbey Birds. My Mom picked me up when I was ready, she had met Meg online and trusted her to raise me, play with me, and love me until they could meet in Seattle and Mom could bring me home. Meg has been there for my Mom when she has had questions, worries and concerns when I recently injured my beak, Mom thinks Meg is really knowledgeable and breeds very healthy babies. All I know is that I am very lucky that Meg placed me in a wonderful home, that is a huge concern of Meg’s.
