I called them in the afternoon just to get a nail trim for my dog and AJ did amazing job and the best part about it I really didn't have to wait he said come in by 4:00 and I'll get it done 10 minutes I was on my way back home loved it

This place is incredible! From the caring and attentive staff members to the thoughtfully curated selection of dog foods and pet supplies, you couldn't ask for a better place to take your pet or better people to become your fur baby's second family while you are away. It's so nice they have everything you need for your four-legged bestie under one roof as well--grooming, day boarding, supplements, and a plethora of knowledge and resources. I can't recommend this place enough!

We just got home from vacation and boarded our three aussies here for 10 days. I was SO anxious leaving them here but I read the reviews and gave it a shot. The staff here are great. They sent me pictures of the puppers when we were gone to ease my mind, and I called every day to check in on the dogs. The people I spoke with were more then kind when updating me on the dogs status while we were away. When we picked the dogs up, they were a little stinky but otherwise tired and happy, and wasn't anything a good bath didn't fix. I am so happy with our experience boarding our dogs here and would happily recommend this place 10/10.

I sent my dog to daycare Northwest Pet Resort for over a year while living in CDA and working full time. This place was heaven sent! They always went above and beyond to make sure my dog, Chance, was well taken care of. I even boarded him here once and had absolutely no issues! I was nervous to do so, because I'm not away from my dog often, and many of the staff members listened to my concerns and made sure I felt comfortable and that everything was taken care of. The kind owners and people who work here really make this place worthwhile. I HIGHLY reccommend sending your furry friends here! They will return home tired and happy!

Best experience I've had with a boarding/daycare facility for my pets

My dogs Hollë and Comet who are both rescues and have their own share of issues are blossoming under the care of NWPR. I couldn't be happier or more satisfied with their care. My girls are learning important socialization skills that are invaluable to their personal growth as secure dogs! The team at NWPR are so hands-on and so caring! I trust them entirely! Thank you!

I brought my 10 yr old aussie collie in today. She has never professionally been groomed. AJ Did a FABULOUS job. Roxie is beyond happy and I am too! She no longer looks like a bear but like she could be put into a dog show! Thank you all so so SO much for taking the time to make my precious girl feel beautiful and GOOD again....ESPECIALLY AJ! We will DEFINITELY be back! ????❤????❤????

I will never leave my cats there again. This place is literally a warehouse full of crates to board cats and dogs. They separate the cats from the dogs but there is no A/C and it has been well over 95 the past week. All they have are fans circulating hot air and it smells terrible. I was afraid my cats were going to get heat stroke. Just awful.

Friendly family owned; kind and enthusiastic employees and a willingness to wrangle my giant pup day in and day out. (Five stars from black Fergus as well!)

The service is good and staff is friendly but the pricing leaves a lot to be desired. I received the EXACT SAME service (to include the spaw package), but was charged quite a bit more the second time. It's very disappointing and, for that reason, I'm not sure that I would be willing to return.

We booked a four day boarding. When we arrived we were not allowed to see where she would be staying. I called to check up on her after the 2nd day and was told she was eating and doing well. We picked her up July 15th and she soiled ober her bedding, had most of her food in the container. This was an indication she did not eat. She lost weight during her stay. Not satisfied with Northwest pet resort

Jay was fantastic for grooming. This is the first time after picking up my dog, that my dog wasn't mad at me for dropping her. Jay loved on her and made her not so scared. Thanks jay!

I have a 5 month old puppy, Raven that I recently boarded here for her first time due to a late family event. I wasn't sure what to expect, but am really grateful for the experience. The ladies helping me who took Raven were understanding, and so sweet to her while she was so visibly scared. She has never been away from me, so I was nervous leaving her overnight her first time. I was glad to hear that she ate, played and did well (with a little bit of comfort that night from the staff! So sweet!). My only complaint would be that she came home super sticky, and super smelly so to the bath she went! (Which I know they used a wipe to wipe her, she was just really sticky and stinky). Besides that, I definitely would trust these kind people to take her again, and am planning on bringing her for doggy daycare! Thank you guys so much.

We needed to find a place to board our dog Bernie while we went on a 3 week trip rafting the Grand Canyon. We chose to board Bernie here because it is close to our house and the boarding includes play time at Doggie Daycare and our dog has alot of energy to play! We boarded him for 26 days and the Northwest Pet Resort employees did a fantastic job caring for him. Our dog is 3 years old and before this Spring we have only left him for 1-2 days with friends so we were tentative about leaving him for a lengthy amount of time. We brought him with a few of his favorite toys, some treats, bed, monthly tick/flea medication and food and they gave him the medication and judging from how happy he is - it seems like he had a great time playing with the other dogs and his stay there!! Thank you all very much for caring for Bernie, sending photos of him, being very responsive, friendly and professional! If we ever can't take Bernie with us on a trip again, we would definitely board him at Northwest Pet Resort. Thank you for providing this great service!

I only had my dogs groomed. They did an amazing job with all 3 of them. The groomer was super friendly and very efficient.

New to CDA, I was excited to find the Northwest Pet Resort. Had an upcoming vacation and wanted to board my pet there. Called and spoke to a very nice person who suggested we do a daycare visit first to see how he handled it and directed me to website to book both the daycare and the boarding. Having explained that I work during the week, we agreed that a Saturday daycare would work. I booked for the following Saturday and received a confirmation for both bookings. I also received a text the Friday before confirming our appointment on Saturday. On Saturday, we arrived on time and the door was locked. An employee came to the door and explained that they are not taking daycare on weekends during April. I explained that I had just called and made the appointment the week earlier and received a confirmation text the day before. She initially told me that it was impossible, as the owner had blocked out all appointments for April. I explained again that I had received a confirmation text the day before and she apologized and said she would notify the owner but they wouldn’t be able to take my pet in that day. Having booked him for daycare for 5 hours, I had made plans for the day that I then had to cancel. Very disappointing experience.

My recent experience with Northwest Pet Resort was a very negative one. Our little Yorkie JJ was recently boarded for a week and when I picked her up last Wednesday, she was clearly a very sick dog. We immediately rushed her to our vet, and after a thorough examination, the vet recommended she be put down. Her condition was so grave that she wouldn’t have much of a chance to survive any medical intervention. How does something like this happen? We were never contacted once while we were out of town, except for a picture of her bed the day I dropped her off. If your child was in day care and they got sick, would you not want to be notified. We have still not received any reasonable answers from anyone at Northwest Pet Resort as to what transpired. JJ was not ill and doing fine the day I dropped her off. She needed no special care except for food, water and maybe some human attention every now and then. She was happy, had a very good appetite and was a very bossy barker. In fact, she ate a whole dog biscuit from the coffee stand on my way to drop her off. We love and miss her tremendously. Board your fur babies at your vet if there is a problem, so it can be handled pro somptly. Not here!!

Getting set up was somewhat awkward online, and the web form is clumsy for those of us with slow internet. If you attach documents to an email, be sure to follow up with a call to ensure it went to an account the staff can access. The important thing is that the dogs were happy and tired when picked up.
