Doggy Haven Resort Bothell, Washington

One of my dogs became ill whilst boarding here and all they were concerned about was getting someone to pick her up and not be responsible for her any more rather than take her to the vet. They don't have a relationship with a vet practice to get any dogs in their care in quickly if they need it, even though their website says they do. My dog only got seen the same day due to a cancellation. I had to really push for them to take her to the vet as I was overseas. Turns out my dog was quite ill and really did need medical care. She was in the ICU for 4 days because she was so sick by the time she was finally taken to see a vet and hadn't been taken to get medical care promptly. Very poor, manager gave no real apology and took no responsibility and I've been landed with a significant vet bill for her care. Don't use this establishment.

I have a Shepsky. Being half shepherd and half husky, she needed to be around other dogs to socialize. I chose Doggy Haven. A year later, my dog goes once a week to see her friends, she absolutely loves it. I now also use Doggy Haven for boarding and grooming. The staff is always amiable, and you can tell their love for animals is a passion within. Day care, grooming, or boarding, Doggy Haven is our place of choice.

This is the worst customer service I’ve ever seen! We got turned away coz we were late for 2mins beyond the cut off time. The disrespectful customer service person didn’t even pick our call when we wanted to give a heads up about the delay. We waited for months for this appointment and yet they couldn’t give us two minutes after us driving 45mins? This place is a scam! Please do not go here if you want an ounce of customer service.

We have a labradoodle who loves to play and run. Everytime we board, he comes home and just wants to sleep and rest. Clearly he gets a ton of exercise and is always happy. Grooming has also been a great experience. Pricing is on par with elsewhere, but we know he is in good hands!

Great place to get your pupper groomed! They have other great amenities that I have not tried yet but they have large, clean land where I am assuming they can play or be trained. I also love how I can book online.

I made an appointment over a month ago for my puppy to have a trial day on the 4th for a later boarding this month (August 12). I called in today to confirm the appointment and they had no recollection or record of the appointment. Even worse they are booked full and can't help me out. I am leaving to visit my grandparents who are getting into their later years and don't know what to do. Now I am out of options because every other doggy boarding is booked full. I absolutely find this to be unprofessional. When I originally called I left a message and they returned my call. I told them the dates and they said they could do that and the trial day was the 4th of August. Then they informed me I needed to go online and fill out the application and also have his vax info and stool sample paperwork ready. I did all of that only to be told that I don't actually have a future reservation at their boarding facility.

My good friend uses this facility on a regular basis. They really provide personalized care for your dog. Everyone I've interacted with here is great. A real bunch of animal lovers. Remy can't wait to get here. He starts crying with anticipation the minute we get close. I highly recommend them for the high quality of care they provide.

We take our dogs to get groomed here and they do a fabulous job. Staff is very kind and have great customer service.

I came here when I first got my dog. She had severe dog and people reactivity and I didn’t think I would be able to curve this problem. The trainers were pretty rude, told me I was doing it all wrong, etc etc. when COVID-19 started we had like a 6 month break from the classes. Durning that time I used a prong and e collar. Both of which are NOT harmful and we’re very high quality. My dog absolutely adored both of these and got excited to put them on. When I came back she was 90% better, still was scared of people coming to greet her and dogs greeting but she could be in the same room and not react at all. Well, when I told the trainer I was using a e collar to help train my dog and how she responded very well she came up to us after session and said we were abusing my dog

Love Doggy Haven. I’ve seen a night and day difference with my pup. With covid being so... fun(?)... it’s hard to socialize my fur baby. The trainers are out of this world and understand behaviors and psychology of dogs. They help me with understanding my dog and honing good behavior. They are gentle, creative, and very knowledgeable.

This is the best groomer for our fluffy pup. Lindsay does a great job everytime.

Wonderful environment for all dogs

We have taken our mini goldendoodle, Walter, to Doggy Haven 3 times now. The facility is very processional and drop off/pick up is a breeze. We first took Walter to a puppy social which ended up being a little bit too much for him. Doggy Haven recommended the Cautious to Confident puppy class, and Walter did much better there. We also love that they post pictures to your account throughout the day and also post a report card at the end of the day. It is extremely easy to book classes and services online as well. I also love that the trainers are mostly CPDT certified whereas other dog daycares in the same area do not always have certified employees. Definitely recommend Doggy Haven!

Doggy Haven's training classes were a lifesaver for my rescue pup Baloo and me last year. I have been thinking about going back for a refresher soon, and thought I'd let others know how awesome they are - not just as a day care, but as trainers. All the trainers are very skilled, and they genuinely care about the dogs (and owners). Baloo loved them all - even the trainers-in-training, although Nicole was his favorite. They taught me so much about my dog, and how to help him learn how to control himself. Their handling of the inevitable dog-to-dog interactions is great too, and helped me to understand how to socialize my dog more effectively. Thanks, Doggy Haven for all you do! Hope to see you again in the spring.

Debbie is my groomer. Fergus (golden retriever) loves her, and he hates bathes! Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable. I would not hesitate in recommending Debbie or Doggie Haven.

During the pandemic, our dogs have suffered the most from inability to get groomed. We have a Scottish Terrier (Jackson) and a Poodle-Bichon (Lexi) and Doggy Haven Resort was a life saver! They practiced extremely safe methods of protecting both their customers and themselves. Also, we managed to get our puppers looking and feeling great!

The staff are incredibly caring and helpful. They were very insightful when it came to not only training your dogs, but also adopting behaviors as an owner to ensure your pet's success.

Our dog is always excited when she gets to go here. The only time we put food in a bag is when she's coming here and she goes nuts. When we pull up she loses her mind and can't wait to go in. It seems like she always has an awesome time which is all we want for her when we go out of town. The daily email reports are fun as well. We've taken ourv pup here a half dozen times and aren't looking for anywhere else to take her. This place seems great.

Impeccable from check in to pick up. Our Shih Tzu was groomed in highly timely manner. First time using this place. Very impressed with the cut given and the groomer Debbie (hope spelled correctly). Will be using their services again soon.

This place is great! My pup has only been going there a week, but they have a great process up front, and my dog comes home, curls up, and sleeps through the night and following morning. If you have a high energy dog, in the Mill Creek/Snohomish area, I highly recommend. By the 10 day package, it’s a great deal. The staff is super friendly and genuinely care for the dogs. We start training soon, so will update with the training side of the biz shortly. Highly recommend Day Care.

There is a large outdoor play space as well as an indoor area. Staff is friendly and caring. We like the notifications by email on how our dog is doing also.

This is an excellent place for your dog if you can't take them with you when you travel. I can not overstate the excellent care, exercise, grooming, training & general loving our dogs have received when in their care! Even when we traveled abroad & we were gone for several weeks, they sent us photos, reports, etc about our dog! Everyone on staff is truly committed to outstanding care of your dog. They have swimming pool, recreation area, exercise areas & good staff to "client" ratio so everyone gets "loving, interaction time". Our dogs come home like they too had a vacation!

I had a wonderful experience with group classes. The trainers are positive and helpful and give each dog/owner the attention they need while still moving the class forward. I recommend it to anyone.
