They’re great with my special boy who needs extra special care. Pricey, but when your dog comes home and passes out, it’s worth it!

This was Lilee's first time! I love that the staff gave her a report card of what they observed about her interactions with the other furry visitors. ???? I had an appointment and didn't want her to be home all day without her people, so Puget Hound took her for the day and she had a great time! Very loving and kind staff. I will definitely take her here in the future!????

Took my 7 month old golden retriever in for grooming, and it was a great experience. My pup came out happy, and looks great! They use tear free products so he doesn’t have red eyes or eye irritation like the last place left him.

This was my dogs first day and she had a blast. She was nervous at first but the skilled trainers there made her more comfortable with them and the other dogs. They sent me a report card that whisked away any worries I had about how she had done today. Every staff member I had interaction with was kind, patient and friendly.

Not for us! We gave puget hound a few solid tries, but our pup was noticeably anxious to be dropped off here. Usually quiet at home, he returned to us reactive to noises and people. It took a lot of time and training to correct some of his picked up behaviors. It seems like there's too much commotion and not enough attention or reinforcing of good behavior and all the training we put in at home. We expected to receive report cards as advertised, and although we inquired numerous times, we didn't get any feedback on his time here. Perhaps not for timid dogs or young pups still learning acceptable socialization, but better suited for rowdy adult dogs? We'll continue with other providers in town that have shown higher capability and quality care.

I’m so glad we found Puget Hound. We were unsure about leaving our 4 month old pup in a doggie daycare but they were so friendly and reassuring. Our pup loved it and they loved her. Will definitely be back.

My husband and I have an older border collie that enjoys quite and prefers to hang out in his bed with his stuffed animals. Needing to board him for the first time since we moved to the area, we were happy to find Puget Hound just up the road from us. The website made them sound great with peaceful "Privacy Lodging" (their words on the website). So we booked him for a stay in one of their "Peaceful rooms & suites" (This is a literal bullet point on their website). The website boasted about "Fluffy blankets on raised cots" and "Soft music and dog-friendly TV" (again, literal bullet points on their website). There weren't really any pictures of the boarding area though so I decided to take a tour a few days before his stay. My husband and I went and took the tour, it was nothing like what was listed on the website. There were no rooms or suites for the dogs there, just kennels with cinder block in between them. The floors were gross, there were no dogs with "fluffy" blankets, and it was extremely loud. The only dogs I saw with any form of proper bedding were dogs beds that you could tell came with them. The whole boarding area was more like a prison. I asked about the music and TV that was missing. The only answer I got was that the TV had been broken for a while and she wasn't sure about the music. It was not a peaceful area by any means. We canceled our reservation that day and will be driving out of the way in order to have him in a facility that actually has those things. Puget Hound on the website and Puget Hound in reality are two completely different places. I would never ever board my dog here and if the owner was an honest person they would post actual pictures of their boarding area on their website.

Non vaccers. Wear your mask. They pass covid around like it's a joint and everyone should partake. No thanks!

Everyone at The Puget Hound is caring, knowledgeable, and patient! I have a lab puppy with an extreme amount of energy and severe separation anxiety. My dog loves going to The Puget Hound. The workers at The Puget Hound loved on her and helped facilitate her make to make friends. Thank you!

My dog had a wonderful time during four days of boarding. Also, the staff was very responsive and helpful when I mixed up the dates and failed to pack enough kibble. I will bring her back again.

My dog got pneumonia after boarding here, and we had to take her to to the local emergency Veterinary hospital after picking her up from a 3 day stay at Puget Hound. She began wheezing and coughing approximately 6 hours after picking her up, which was followed by a $2,000 two night stay at the animal hospital. A much more expensive vacation than we had anticipated. I should have been suspicious when their front desk attendant handed me paperwork regarding kennel cough going around the facility upon picking up my dog. Puget Hound’s boarding agreement states that if your pet becomes ill or injured as a result of or in the course of their board, PH will pay up to $500 toward the vet bill. I called probably 4 times and emailed regarding this issue, and was ultimately ghosted by their management. For those interested in alternatives- I would recommend Kulshan Vet for boarding, as they have veterinarians on site if anything should happen to your pet during their stay (they can also prescribe medication if needed while you are away- with your permission of course). The last thing you want to worry about while on vacation is whether or not you will have your fur baby to come home to. It was touch and go for us for a frightening 48 hours, and we are fortunate to have our girl with us today. I will not send my dog or any future pets to board at puget hound again.

The staff at Puget Hound were extremely helpful, accommodating, and understanding while we were preparing to board our dog for the first time. They got back to us quickly when we had questions and most importantly took great care of our sweet boy while we were away. Thank you, Puget Hound!! We will definitely use your services again when we travel!

I bring my dog, Bentley here all the time, he gets SOOO excited every time i tell him he's going to daycare! I have him boarding there currently, yesterday he fell ill and was not acting like himself at all. They recognized that he was not the happy go lucky boy they usually see and immediately called me and took him to AEC. They have been extremely communicative through the entire experience (Even with a stressed out dog mom calling every 45 minutes) and because of their quick response and care for him, he will make a full recovery! I cannot thank these guys enough for the love, care, and enthusiasm they show with Bentley every time he's there!

I boarded my puppy here and the service they promise and describe on their website was not at all met. My puppy was filthy when I picked him up and smelled like urine, the blanket I sent him with was not returned and i had to inquire twice about it only to be told they lost it. They do not send you photos or the so called "report card" and the staff was not pleasant or helpful. I was given three different prices: one before I dropped him off, one the night before I picked him up when I called to touch base about when I'd be there, and again a different amount of $100+ when I came to get my dog. Save yourself the disappointment and do not board here. I wish I had a better review to leave, I really wanted to love these guys.

My best friend, Tracker, was treated so great on his first day with Puget Hound. After having a horrible experience with another doggy daycare in town, I was wary about big doggy daycares. I was so relieved with the ease and professionalism I received when setting up his first day. Tracker was tired and happy at the end of his day. He had a fantastic report out by the staff and I can’t wait to have him there again. Thank you!!!

Luna loves going to day care at Puget Hound and they are the only ones we trust to kennel when we travel. The staff is lovely, the facilities are great for our big St. Bernard, and getting to be a country dog every once in awhile on field trips to Rover Stay Over is a huge bonus!!

Our puppy just started at Puget Hound a few weeks ago! They have been nothing but kind, caring and professional since Day 1! Every time we pull in the parking lot, he goes nuts! He is always happy and tired when I pick him up. I trust and highly recommend Puget Hound!

Our older dog just stayed at Puget Hound for the first time. They were easy to work with, caring and wanted to know how best to look after our guy. He was in very good shape when we picked him up and clearly had a great time. We highly recommend Puget Hound.

I was so nervous about being my dog to stay over for boarding while I went on vacation. They recommended I bring her for a half day to see how she did, all my fears went away!! They even helped me get my other dog connected to a dog trainer so we didn’t have to give our dog away. I am so thankful for all they have done to help us with both our dogs!!

This is the first time to have Daycare service for my dog at Puget Hound, he is super shy and unfriendly compare to other dogs. I planned to have my dog for their boarding service during upcoming weekend, however due to the excessive heat wave in Northwest area, I decided to have a Daycare service before boarding. Eventually it was a perfect opportunity for both my dog and me! My dog was really happy when I picked him up and seemed he had fun day at Puget Hound! So that made my feeling reliable and trustworthy. And all staffs I had met with are friendly and good customer service :)
