I was impressed with the amount of time that Dr. Dave spent with me and my cat. He was very thorough with the questions he asked and the options he presented for dealing with the issues my cat is having. Dr. Dave is just one of the many reasons my family has used Fountain Veterinary for over 20 years. We also recommend them to others any chance we get.

Very impressive business. Vet Dave spent more time with Vinny and I than any of my doctors have. He explained what he thought the problem was and what the options were for treatment. We have gone here with our pets for years.

We left Fountain about 14 years ago with our first pup because we disagreed with the owner vet. Since then the business has changed quite a bit and that vet no longer practices. We returned because we were fed up with being sold products and vaccines we didn't need for high prices at other vets. We couldn't be happier with the current vets, prices and the people at the desk and the phone are so great.

The Staff is very welcoming, kind and patient explaining all the process. Their Vet is the sweetest, caring and funny guy we have met. When our puppy got parvo we truly appreciate it the honest approach vs trying to up sale on a service that was not needed. In the end he didn't make it but we continued to take our cats and dwarf bunnies here too. Highly recommend.

Very professional and compassionate doctors and staff!

So, I'm a bit torn on how to rate this vet since I have only been here once, I had to put my little dog I have had for 15 years to sleep, after just moving here I have not established a new vet. The front office staff was amazing and caring, The Dr ( Todd I think ) seemed heartless and not really interested in anything other than sticking a needle in my dog, then there came the cost, this review isn't about money it's about the integrity. I knew my dog was at her last days so I looked around for cremation options, they where all about $300, with an urn, little clay paw print, fluff of hair with ribbon and an option to upgrade your choice of urn, Here you get a Plastic Dollar Store flute with a sticker that has your dog's name printed on it for $270. to me that just seemed as though this place was just about needles and money. I see the reviews, nearly all the negative reviews seem to be about the cremation process. I'ts obvious this owner is swimming in cash with a staff as large as his, it would be a sincere gesture to your customers if you could think of them and the pet they lost rather than concentrating on collecting your $270. I would like to have this as my new town pet home but my emotions are just wild right now and I feel a bit stepped on. we shall see.

Whenever my pups need care I trust Dr. Todd and his team of professionals. I know they will be well taken care of and loved. I also appreciate the down to earth advice and the fact they don't do unnecessary tests or give expensive medicine unless it's truly necessary. I feel so grateful to have found them.

Very nice staff and the animals that they have are very comforting pals while you wait for the doctors . Love being there if having to be there that is .

Dr. Dave Hargrove is totally groovy. He came highly recommended to me and exceeded my expectations. So relieved to have a new resource for our critter family.

Dr. Todd Perry is fantastic. He always makes sure to explain the situation in detail so that you can understand what's going on as well, and I can tell he cares about my dog when I bring her.

Dr. Dave, Dr. Pete, & everyone else that works there do right by your family. Always listening to you and your fur baby. As a child growing up in Whatcom County, my family would drive all the way to Blane Animal Hospital to see a Dr. Named Chris. She was the best we knew of. But now in town, as an adult, have been going to Fountain for over 15 years! I had adopted a house rabbit named Lucky from a coworker who purchased him from her daughters school auction. They had no idea what they were in for lol. I named him Mr. Shenanigans And the "Service Dogs of America" licensed him to be the/my first service animal/rabbit in Washington St. Turned out that my Bunbun had been a package deal set up for that school from a Dr. At Fountain Veteranery Hospital. He had a certificate to come in and be neutered. Ever since that first appointment we have been bringing in all our furry family friends. Very happy about them caring for our family. The best vets. They are super busy but when you have your appointment it's not rushed. They love animals.

**Edit: going on 4 years post op and my dog is still in great condition! I'm sad we moved from the area and had to find a new vet.** Dr. Todd did the surgery for my dogs ACL tear and did such a great job. Two years later now and still no problems. He's a life saver!

Wow. This clinic really puts its customers first. They are punctual, knowledgeable and really took the time to talk with me. I came from a vet where I would sit on hold for 16 minutes, had to call several times to reach any one and semi rude staff! I am very pleased so far!

Dr Todd was so amazing with Vanellope that I couldn't believe it was hassle free. Vanellope hates getting her shots and going to the vet but he made it fun for her.

Normally I'm very pleased with them. The last time I went in, I was told I could pick up flea meds for my cat and drove 20 mins to get there only to be denied. I won't be back

All of the vets are wonderful and knowledgeable. They care for the animals and it really shows.

Took our dog Titus in and since he has got kennel cough before the doctor agreed with no problem to come check him out at the car so we didn't risk anything and wasn't even charged more for that, fountain vet actually cares and helps you and are the best vets I know and trust with my animals and the ones I rescue and re-home! My whole family take their dogs, cats and other animals we have to Fountain Vet for over a decade. Have had to take them to others, do to circumstance, but went right back to Fountain Vet. Reasonable prices personable staff All around! The doctors there really care!

This is the only veterinary clinic my family will take our pets to!! It is family owned & operated local small business, their prices are affordable, I've always been able to get my pets in to see them within a few days of calling to make an appointment whether it's an operation or just a simple check up it doesn't matter. They go above and beyond everytime!! Here's one example: I rescued a stray from my neighborhood who had this big scab on his chin that would never heal so I took him in for a check up. The vet saw that the cat had an abscessed tooth probably from being hit by a car. Anyway the infection was draining thru this poor guys chin causing the scab. Surgery was needed to remove what was left of the infected tooth so after starting some antibiotics surgery was performed and the tooth was removed. When Fountain called me to let me know I could come pick my cat up they informed me that the vet thought my guy could really benefit from a teeth cleaning so since he was already under anesthesia the vet went ahead and cleaned my cats teeth for no extra charge!! It's just the little gestures like that that makes Fountain the best & only vet for us!!

Very quick and very caring people

Started taking my pets here when I was a kid. Dr. Max was wonderful and Dr. Todd carries on the tradition. My dogs and cats have always received top notch care from every doctor there.

Had a long wait, but quality care afterward. All questions answered respectfully.

I've had the hardest time with my dog, she's very anxious and HUGE. She gets protective of me every time at the vet, despite training her with a professional even at local parks around other people. Regardless, the staff and Dr. Todd have been particularly amazing with my dog and great about not making me feel like a horrible dog owner because she can be scary to deal with. I'm extremely grateful by the consistent considerations we get coming here. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you.
