I'm no stranger to VCA..I took my older cat to this location some years ago for him to get his check up. I loved how they were super sweet and gentle with my cat and the doctor at that time who treated my cat was amazing. Fast forwarding to now, I just recently took my 3 month old kitten here because I know he would be in good hands. I suspected when I first got my kitten that he had ear mites so I bought baby boy in. Dr. Jones and Nick did a full on check up and then had to check for ear mites. Turns out my kitten did have them. Not only did they provide my baby with medicine to kill the mites but Nick and another assistant flushed and cleaned out my cats ears with all that debris. They were gentle and they walked me through everything before doing it. Dr. Jones is extremely knowledgeable and Nick was great. I could've took my cat to the VCA closer to house but because if that great experience I had years ago with my older cat I didn't wanna go anywhere else but Bellevue. If you are looking for a vet that truly cares about you pet's well being and is efficient then VCA Bellevue is where you need to be. Thanks!

Wonderful, caring staff! They always take time to talk when you call, even if you can’t get in right away. My pup has a bad stomach and I’ve called several times with issues and always feel supported and like they truly care about him. We also love Dr. Cloud!

A wonderful experience with our two cats at VCA Bellevue. Everyone was so welcoming and patient with our cats who were a little shy at first. Took time to hear our concerns and provided great instruction. Highly recommend.

I have been taking my dog to VCA for a year, and the cost is atrocious--around $200-$600 every trip. There is a reason why they always have appointments available; they are the most expensive vet in the area. No matter what you are going in for, they charge a $90 wellness exam fee in addition to whatever else needs to be done. My biggest issue is that their exams are inadequate for the price. They did an exam for a vaccine, and now, less than 48 hours later, he has a well-developed ear infection. He sporadically fussed with his ear the past week, but I didn't think anything of it because most of the time, it is just a tiny fly, he gets it out and then he is fine. Now, his ear is inflamed, we figured out that something has been wrong for a while, and I think that a $90 wellness exam should have caught it before it got this bad. They were not willing to admit that they missed it, they claim that they HAVE to do the exam EVERY TIME, and they were unwilling to waive the fee for a second appointment. In short, if it is not life-threatening, find another vet and wait for the appointment.

This is the best vet I've ever taken my animals to. They care about the animals more than Money.

Our new vet. We loved this place. It was easy to get an appt during covid and I didn't even have to go inside.

We brought our 16 weeks old healthy puppy in for his vaccination. He dies after ten days of suffering and pain. First appointment was a lot of "up selling" talk, and only a tenth of the time actually about the vaccination. Second appointment, the adverse vaccination reaction was acknowledged, but no cause was addressed. Only the most obvious symptoms were treated. We asked for a third appointment, but the urgency was not taken seriously and we were laughed off. We brought him to an emergency clinic where he was diagnosed with cascading organ failure and seizures in line with sever adverse reaction to vaccination. We put him to sleep and are left with a dead puppy, all the cost and no acknowledgment of their part by this vet office. Not the first time it happened here either just read the past reviews.

The vets have always been very patient with all my questions, and affectionate with my cats. One of my cats has a skin condition, and they're great about listening to my specific concerns. I do prefer some of the vets to others there, but none of them have ever done anything less than a thorough job. During the pandemic, they've remained open and effectively social distance by keeping people in the parking lot while pets go inside for exams. A bit pricey, but pet parents want the best, and I haven't been let down here yet.

although their care plan is double the price compared to that of petsmart, but its just feel so like home and people there are always there for you, gentle nd care for you nd your pet. Feel like nothing that i need to worry about everytime i go there. I take both my cats nd dogs there, they have done a great job so far. Responsible nd private.

We had been to this clinic twice now and based on those 2 experiences I would hesitate to recommend them. Our first visit was for grooming and besides the normal charge they added a Special Handling fee as our dog was new to that facility (?). During our second visit - this time for grooming and rabies vaccination - they repeated the Special Handling fee under the premise that our dog was wriggling through the session (never heard of this from 5+ yrs of grooming at other places/locations). However the grooming was done well. And they charged $89 for a mandatory exam and $49 for vaccination - though there was no examination report that was shared besides a vaccination confirmation. Overall this facility seems to prefer overcharging wherever possible.

VCA has been so invested in each of my animals. Additionally, they have taught me so much on how to be a better parent to my fur babies. Thank you so much for the care

Our dog Jambalaya loves coming to see her favorite doctors and staff. The individuals that make up the VCA Bellevue team are friendly, patient, and nothing but professional. It’s very apparent that they love working with our dog, which has left such a positive impact on her personality and behavior. Anybody would be missing out if they passed up this team. Thank you for everything you do!

I've been bringing my puppy to VCA Bellevue for about 4 months now for exams and his vaccines. I have been satisfied with the staff and care of my dog, however the cost are quite high and I believe things that are requested more often than are actually necessary. I asked for an estimate from VCA Bellevue for a neuter surgery, I was given an estimate range that is 3-4 times as expensive as another local private clinic I called. Exams were recommended at each vaccine appointment at VCA, which meant my puppy had an exam every month for 4 months. The new clinic recommended only 1 exam, and then only exams if concerns arise. Everything from vaccine prices, exams, and surgeries were significantly more expensive at VCA compared to this private clinic. I suspect this is not due to such low cost of the other vet, but of the high prices at VCA. Ultimately I felt that I could not trust what was a legitimate medical concern requiring a lab test or exam, and what is a "standard recommendation" and way to generate more revenue, so I have decided to move my dog's care to a different vet. Again I was satisfied with the in-person contact with front desk staff, vet techs and vets, but the high cost and structure of recommendations was not for me. I would recommend calling around before deciding on a vet for your pet so you can understand how pricing and recommendations for care can vary so drastically from clinic to clinic.

I wish they had walk in hours. It isn't always easy to get an appointment. Nice, clean place. A little more expensive than my previous vet.

overpriced! careful with their care plan - it covers almost nothing! impossible to get appointments at evenings\weekends - use companion animal hospital at 156th - cheaper, professionals, evenings and weekend hours are available.
