We love Bellevue Animal Hospital. Dr. Marzullo is fantastic! My senior beagle is a frequent visitor at BAH, and they treat her as if she were their own pet. She can get a little rowdy (as beagles do), and they always roll with it. I appreciate that Dr. Marzullo knows the science but takes time to explain issues and procedures in “regular people” terms so we have an understanding of what’s going on. My only “complaint” is that different vets practice on different days, and with the uptick of animal owners (thanks, pandemic!), it can be difficult to get an appointment if you’re partial to a particular doctor. We’ll be lifelong customers of Bellevue Animal Hospital. Well worth every penny spent!

I’ve dealt with this clinic multiple times concerning my bosses dog and not once has it been a pleasant experience. The first time the woman who took the dog was rough with him, rude, and didn’t seem to care about the details of what was wrong either I believe her name was Michelle or something. When my bosses dog was returned he had a major bruise/swelling on his neck I’m assuming from someone prodding with a needle but we dismissed it which was a mistake. The second time the dog was returned with bandaging on his leg from a heartworm test and again bruised and swollen. I don’t think these people know how to do a blood draw. My third complaint is for the last 3 months trying to get a full appointment, vaccines, and check ups has been a nightmare because the front staff seem absolutely bored with their job and as if answering phones is the bane of their existence despite it being their job. They barely listened to the concerns, didn’t ask any questions, and weren’t even willing to work with us on time frames. We won’t be returning here. Being a Bellevue based veterinarian and the absurd prices they charge I’d assume they’d be charging that amount due to clientele or service but it’s very clear to us money is the motivation and service comes second if at all.

I had an outstanding experience here getting the paperwork for my dog to move with me overseas. Harley, the Practice Manager, took what was an immensely stressful experience and handled it with warmth and total competency. She was responsive, caring, and attentive to details. I had total confidence every step of the way that my dog and I were in good hands. The rest of the BAH team, too, was kind and thoughtful every time we came in. I happily recommend their services.

Sue was very disrespectful. She would not let me schedule an appointment at the time i needed because i had to call to reschedule a visit which was for the same time i was requesting. I told her i will go elsewhere then she hung up on me.. I will be calling and filing a complaint with management about her. I will also be taking my business elsewhere. Very unprofessional.

In August, my 11 year old dog was having bloody diarrhea and was not responding to antibiotics. She was seen and diagnosed with pancreatitis. The proper treatment was administered right away and she recovered within a week. And last week, she went in for her stem cell treatment, cyst removal, and dental. Dr Min was super professional as usual. The staff was also very kind to my dog. Please be patient with the staff as they are all overwhelmed.

Amazing service as always. Gizmo was well taken care of.

Saturday evening decided one of our dogs needed to see a Doctor on Sunday. We were first considering one of the well known emergency Veterinary Hospitals. We found that BAH was open on Sunday's 9AM - 2PM as a walk-in clinic. Along with having excellent ratings, one of the Doc's, who has known our dogs since puppyhood now works at BAH and was on-site this particular Sunday. Talk about the stars aligning! Although BAH still does not permit clients to go in with their pets, they have the walk-in routine down to a science. We were the 4th or 5th client that morning. About 0850 hospital staff came out to have forms filled out and inquire about the reason for the visit. They told us it would be a 45 minute wait (we all know at a Doctor's office it is usually longer). Well, one of the staff came out at 0945 to collect our dog! After 20-30 minutes with the Doctor, the Doctor called with the results of the exam and treatment recommendations. Another 10 minutes one of the staff came out with out dog, medications, discharge papers, bill and was able to process billing at our car. Kudos to Bellevue Animal Hospital staff for being courteous, knowledgeable and professional.

Our 9yo best friend furbaby died while we were out of town… this vet was so incredible supporting us through our pain. Thank you for the space to see her one more time and for taking good care of her. When we invite another animal into our lives - this is where we will take them. ❤️

I can't say enough good things about the staff at Bellevue Animal Hospital. From the Doctors to the nurses to the front desk. I am so thankful to have such a wonderful vet clinic so close to my home. They are compassionate and caring. I would highly recommend them.

The staff and Dr. Debbie Carlson DVM is outstanding! Cooper my 12 yr old dog has had numerous issues, the care was above and beyond. Dr. Carlson is hands down the best!, she is thorough and extremely knowledgeable. Thank you for all you do for our animals!

My husband and I have a 7 mo. old Golden Retriever who has had a rough go of it lately. Lately she's battled kennel cough and an ear infection and today she had a horrible allergic reaction to something outside while on her walk. Both her eyes swelled up terribly and it was horrifying to see. I called Bellevue Animal Hospital in a semi-panic at 1:51pm (they close at 2pm on Saturdays) and they said to bring her by just to make sure it wasn't an emergency. They stayed open an extra half hour to make sure my girl was okay and promptly gave her a steroid to reduce the swelling and advised about an allergy test. I want to give a special shoutout to Harlie as she knew exactly who my dog was when I called and told me that on her way home she would stop by UPS to send the allergy test off to the lab right away. I felt like my baby was totally taken care of and I'm so grateful that they went the extra mile for us. I 100% recommend Bellevue Animal Hospital for anything, whether it's a routine check up or an emergency.

We've been coming to this clinic since moving to the area 7 years ago. They first started caring for our cats then. We've really appreciated the kindness and excellent treatment provided to our anxious kitties. Everyone from the front desk reception, to the vet techs, and every vet on staff have been incredible through torn ACL on one kitty (Dr Donald Gerard - super amazing at handling our kitty), urinary tract issues with another, and the support provided after the sudden loss of our other cat have been above and beyond anything we have experienced at other clinics. We recently brought a puppy into our lives who has been prone to digestive tract and eye infections with frequent visits to see Dr. Min and Dr. Carlson, and they have always made room to squeeze her in right away and spend time going through every question I have had. We moved to Burien about a year ago, and we will continue to trek into Bellevue because I truly believe in the team at this clinic. Thank you for taking care of all our babies. We appreciate you!

Had my dog neutered, operation went smoothly and as communicated. They employed a responsible protocol during Covid. Bellevue Animal Hospital doesn't schedule follow-up visits by default, although in our case we did not need a follow up. Note on prices: we were quoted under $700, but charged over $900. Perhaps there's some explanation (medication, other required fees etc.) but clearly the interest of the customer is the final cost.

Dr Marzullo has been my dog’s veterinarian since I moved from portland to seattle. She has always taken such wonderful care of her. I’m so grateful she has guided her health from adult to senior dog. Couldn’t have found a more compassionate and smart vet.

My dog was happy going in and happy coming out. The staff was exceptionally professional and positive.

I love Bellevue Animal Hospital and their staff! I take my 3 cats here, who are my absolute world, and I know they are cared for genuinely. Dr. Marzullo recently did a dental procedure on one of my boys. Of course I was nervous, but I trusted her and she and the staff took wonderful care of him. He ended up needing 4 teeth extracted, and Dr. Marzullo did an amazing job with him. She was caring, made sure I had all the info I need, and took time to answer my questions and address my concerns. She made me feel totally at ease, and I was thankful for her. He was pretty much his normal self once he was home and I knew he was treated well. Dr. Marzullo also wanted to see him a week later (no charge) to make sure he was still healing well, which he sure was, thanks to the high level of care he received from her and support staff. Plus, the hospital gave him a Certificate of Bravery after the procedure, and it's the cutest thing ever. Dr. Min is my usual vet for my cats, but all the vets there are great, as obvious by Dr. Marzullo's care! Dr. Min has been caring for my cats for years, and I started coming to Bellevue Animal Hospital because she started working there and I followed her to remain in her care. She has helped me navigate my oldest cat's many health issues and has given me an incredible amount of knowledge, help, compassion, support, and patience (as a slightly paranoid cat mom, I have many worries). I do not know what I would do and how my cat would be without her. I feel confident saying without Dr. Min, he would not be doing nearly as well as he is. I have a better handle on his issues because of how amazing and knowledgeable she is, and I know she cares for both me and my cats. She does everything she can for us and other pet parents, which is an amazing feeling, especially after seeing vets at other clinics who really couldn't care less about us at the end of the day, or only care about money. That's not the case with Bellevue Animal Hospital, and I recommend them, Dr. Marzullo, and of course, Dr. Min, to everyone.

My dog was killed in front of me. Marzullo did not care. She lacked interest in helping me save his life. Diabetic keto acidosis is treatable. The cruelest vet I have ever met. I told her no twice. Why weren't other options given me?

We are new to the area and needed a new vet. I took our dogs 2 different days and so I “met” (via the phone for curbside appt) 2 different vets. Both were very helpful and answered questions I had about my dogs. Everyone that we met from the nurse who came out to take our dogs in to the receptionist was very friendly. I’m so glad to have found a new vet that has the same “home town vet” feeling we had at our previous vet’s office from where we moved.

It all started with making the first appointment. I received a phone call the very day before I had scheduled the appointment that my slot was about to be cancelled unless I confirmed immediately, you know the same appointment I had made myself only a few weeks previous. So I had to drop everything I was doing and call back immediately, and then the staff was rude because I was not in a good place to make a phone call. ?? You just told me I was about to lose my slot, what was I supposed to do? I should have listened to my gut and cancelled then, but unfortunately I kept the appointment. This b.s. about needing to do this because of newcomers not showing is just that, b.s.: don't make it my problem when it's really yours. During the routine appointment for my two dogs, I was upcharged for every single item, to the point of absurdity. Here comes the worst part: I was informed that my dog needed three teeth pulled, and when I pressed for more nuanced information, such as, is this is a clean them and see? Is this a maybe they need to come out? I was informed that yes, they definitely all three need to come out. I was then given a quote of $1600 to $1800 for the teeth to come out. Yes you read that right. At this point I have definitely lost all confidence and trust in this vet, but it is concerning enough to me that I bring my dog to another vet nearby. And guess what? The teeth didn't need to come out! The vet was able to salvage them by cleaning them. And I was informed that had any needed to come out, it would not have cost me more than $500. I can think of no other reason than wanting to maximize profits to recommend teeth pulled for a dog when it is not actually needed. So, so slimy. In short, I found I was severely taken advantage of because I was new in town and did not know where to take my dogs for their veterinarian care. A big fat welcome to town by Bellevue Animal Hospital.

Bellevue Animal Hospital is fantastic! I have taken two cats and a Golden Retriever to their facility for several years. The care they received was excellent! The staff is caring and really knowledgeable. They take the time to listen to your concerns, and explain everything clearly when additional care is required for your pets. I highly recommend the team at Bellevue Animal Hospital and have already referred friends and neighbors with new pets!

I took my dog Angel here for an eye issue. We had 3 follow up trips, and on each follow up trip she saw a different physician, which to me seems poor for continuity of care. I don't go and see a different primary care physician each time I go to my doctor's office, and would expect the same at my vet. As a result, we got different treatment plans at each successive "check up". At the last visit for this issue I was referred to an ophthalmologist for the issue and prescribed more eye drops from BAH at that time. I told them I would wait on giving the new drops until the specialist had a chance to take a look, and Dr. Minh (sp?) ensured me the drops could be returned if we did not want to go down that path for treatment based on the specialists' diagnosis. When I attempted to return the unopened drops, there was a big issue and they initially refused until I mentioned the doctor said this explicitly. When I took her in for a leg issue, I was asked if I wanted to have an x ray done on the problem leg and consented. What I was charged for was x rays on both legs, which they said they always do just to get a baseline. I wish they let me know this information prior rather than assuming that I knew they would do that. Finally, they mentioned referring me to an orthopedic specialist for this issue, and when I was checking out without a referral I was told I could "look one up on my own". I later discovered Caucasian friend went for their dogs broken leg and actually got a referral to a specific location. Very poor, I had high hopes for this vet as I live in Bellevue. Guess we will have to start going back to a vet in Seattle.

The staff and doctors are always so friendly and show they really care about my pups. I know when I leave them at BAH they are in good hands!

The veterinarian was very informative and made me feel like my pet was in good hands. I will continue to take my pets there.

My three dogs are well looked after by the doctors at BAH. The support staff are excellent and Sue is always friendly and helpful. Thomas does a great job getting insurance claims filed.

Absolutely wonderful in every way! With curbside drop off it made our dog calm by not having to wait in the lobby. Who would have known this would have been such a fantastic idea! Gentle and loving yet very professional . Best experience with a vet EVER!!!
