Barkzone- Bethany Beaverton, Washington

Best self wash around imo. Management listens when you have concerns and addresses them. We've kept our dog there before for a week but only the upgraded solo kennel with camera access 24/7. Most of my experiences here have been very good.

I live around the corner and was happy to have BarkZone as an option for my doggos. They both went into daycare passing the evaluation. It's great having the cameras to see how they are doing. I originally decided to leave them there for the day but after seeing them not playing too much I came and grabbed them early. This is pretty typical for both of them the first time they are introduced to a new daycare. Their grooming is top notch and reasonable for the price. Sergio was great with Chip and did a fantastic job! I will say I was a little upset when I found out squirt bottles were used as a means of stopping "bad" behavior. However that didnt take away from my overall view of the business. I would suggest this be revealed to clients prior to admittance to daycare. Again it wouldn't have stopped me from utilizing their services but would have been good to know. I also think the price for evaluation is a bit high. I was told if I only left them a half day the price would be different and was not. Each business is different so I understand the need to charge to pay for their wonderful staff members. As a long time pet sitter, dog walker, veterinary staff member, trainer, and dog daycare worker I highly recommend BarkZone when you need a "mommy break". Thanks guys!

We moved to Beaverton from North Portland 5 months ago. Our Goldendoodle loved his old doggy daycare/boarding place. (Club K9). But we needed someplace closer to our new home. We got to tour Barkzone before deciding to try doggy daycare. Our dog had so much fun! Staff are super friendly. The facility is clean too! We will be boarding our dog here in a few weeks. So I will have an update then. Stay tuned!

They take great care of my pets at Bark Zone, even taking special care watching over my senior dog, Caroline. I always feel comfortable leaving my pets and know I can check on them through the web cams.

We took our 2 dogs in for grooming. Price was reasonable, and our dogs seemed to have had a good time. Staff was super nice!

My dog boarded and went to day care. Have only had good experiences. Update 12/28/21: Just went back for a half day. Still going well! Have referred friends and family. Grooming in the past has left something to be desired. Might try self grooming next time.

Use the self wash dog stations. Staff is super friendly and awesome.

My pup had previously boarded at another daycare but hadn't been to a day-daycare before. During covid shutdown we noticed that she just wasn't getting any interaction and honestly seemed a bit surprised that other dogs existed out on walks and such. I mostly picked BarkZone because they were open early enough that I could drop her off on the way to work. But their daycare seems to be run well and I actually have liked using their self wash area when I've needed it as well.

My dog Hank absolutely loves to go to Barkzone. He gets so excited every time we pull into the parking lot. I'm sure Hank would leave a 6 star review if he could.

My dog has been going to other daycares for years and has never had any issues before. She is a nervous dog who can get stressed when surrounded by high energy dogs that keep getting into her face. I was informed she failed her temperment test because she tried to bite four other dogs- she has never done this before. I even asked my current daycare if this has ever happened and they said no, she can snap (not bite) if she feels overwhelmed by other hyper dogs but this is why her daycare sperates by temperment. After observing the webcams, I also noticed there is rarley a handler in the play area activley monitoring the dogs which is bound to create issues. I noticed several dogs mounting others, or running into smaller dogs with no one to intervene. At least the test was free, but I don't think I will come back here. We will be sticking to her current daycare even though its farther away because they are able to accomadate any dog in a safe well-monitored environment and actually make an effort to make every dog feel comfortable.

excellent self bathing and drying stations for pooches. Reasonable price which comes with all bathing supplies from shampoo, conditioning to towels, brushing supplies. The water temp is already preset to dogs' comfort level. All you have to do is just walk in that's all

They have a massive assortment of shampoos and conditioners. They have every grooming tool imaginable. Very friendly with fair prices. I'll be back!

Decent place to do a quick self wash. The facility looked really old and needs an upgrade. Feels like you’re standing in a YMCA shower. Soaps were watery.

UPDATE: After boarding and grooming our dogs for several years, they "kicked us out" because it was too much of a burden for them to take care of our dogs because one of them occasionally attracts "too much attention from the male dogs" (she's spayed, but it still happens). The big issue is that they called to tell me this when I had a reservation with them for the upcoming weekend, so I had to scramble to find a way to have the dogs taken care of on short notice, which also cost more than boarding them with barkzone. I guess I shouldn't have paid them for the weekend they were there and used the money for the next weekend! (wish I had done that)...

Best place to wash your pups and enjoy a really good time with them

We recently moved to the area and started taking our dog to the Beaverton BarkZone for daycare. She LOVED her previous daycare, and we loved getting our young, active pup out of the house and having her come back dog-tired and happy. No dice here. I check in on video regularly and still have yet to see an attendant actually playing with the dogs. Even after a handful of visits she's reluctant to go, appears to just stand there all day with the rest of the dogs, then comes home still hyper and needing to run and play. This place might be fine for an older, docile dog, but don't bring a young, active dog here. We'll be going elsewhere.

Barkzone has provided a fantastic customer experience for both myself and my dog, Pepper. I've used Barkzone for grooming, daycare, and boarding services. All have been done with exceptional quality and great customer service! Their webcam of the play floor is great to see how the dogs are getting along, and I can't say enough about how accommodating and caring the staff is of the dogs. I have peace of mind every time I bring Pepper into Barkzone, she has a blast while she is there!

I've only used the self wash, but I've never had a problem or bad experience. The staff are friendly, competent, and seem to work well together as a team. The facilities are clean and well maintained. I usually give my 3 small dogs a full hair cut and no one has ever complained that I take too long or make a mess. I feel very comfortable using their self wash area for as long as it takes me to finish the job.

I appreciate that you can drop in your dog withour reservations and there's a camera but the "lunch break" in the middle of the day is 2+ hours long, way too long for the dogs to be in crate (or I would have left them at home?) Hopefully they can find a way to give their people a break without crating the dogs for such a long time?

After a few failed haircuts at other places, we found Alex at Barkzone and are so grateful. Charlie is prone to matting, so we appreciate that Alex takes her time to work out the mats while making sure Charlie’s comfortable. She’s super fast and answers any questions we have. Charlie used to hate getting groomed and I think he’s warming up to it thanks to Alex.

Waste of time. The point of professional grooming is so I don’t have too. Scheduled an appointment 2 weeks ahead, and they turned down the service after 5 minutes. Filled out the application before, which notifies them SHE IS A LARGE PUPPY. It will not be an easy groom.

I bring my dog Bentley here for grooming with Ryan. He does a fantastic job! I've never had an issue with grooming him here. Bentley loves to be pampered by Ryan!

Very frustrated with BarkZone today. We have been having our dog groomed at the Hillsboro location for a number of years now. Two weeks ago I called the Hillsboro number and someone answered "Hillsboro BarkZone..." I made an appointment for grooming with Ryan. Yesterday I received a phone call from the Hillsboro location's number, confirming today's appointment. So this morning I drove to the Hillsboro location (from Beaverton because we like Ryan) for our 7:00am appointment only to find a note on the door that the location has been permanently closed since late December 2020. Our last time there was in November. I called the Hillsboro number and it went to voicemail and the voicemail message confirmed that it was closed. I then called the Bethany location, explained the situation and asked if our appointment was there by chance. The receptionist confirmed that it was, with no apology for the confusion. I told her that it would take me about 20 minutes to get there from Hillsboro and she said she had to check if they could even take our dog with us being that "late". She came back and confirmed that if I could make it in 20 minutes, they would keep the appointment. I was able to make it there and when checking our dog in, I was informed that the Bethany location's prices are higher than Hillsboro's were. If it weren't for the fact that our dog has not been groomed in 6 months and needed it desperately, I would've walked out. It's very frustrating to not be informed that a location is closed when that is the location I called. Then to have the Bethany location receptionist not show any understanding when I called, clearly frazzled this morning. Unfortunately, I won't be returning to BarkZone for future grooming. Ryan has always done a great job and I would recommend his services to anyone.

The staffs at the Bethany location are friendly and always greet me and my dog with kindness. My dog always enjoyed her daycare time and their live camera viewing makes me feel better about leaving her there all day.

Absolutely the BEST boarding family for dogs. My doggo is shy and they do a great job keeping him comfortable in the groups.

Loved my visit here. It was a bit confusing at the entry point however we were met by an employee in less than 5 minutes . Our dog needed a simple gland expression and was treated promptly even with the many other ppl in front of us. We only waited 10 minutes tops maybe not even that. When our dog was returned to us not only did she look happier but her nails had been clipped as well . She was a happy sleepy dog per usual ????
