I don't even know how to explain this vet office... Dr. Benipal and his team literally saved our boys life, our furbaby Joseph needed emergency PU surgery otherwise things weren't looking good for him as he'd had multiple urethral blockages, and recieved many cystocentesis to try and give the bladder enough time to relax and allow the inflammation to go down but to no avail. We brought him in and immediately he was taken in and very shortly after going in went for surgery after some blood work to make sure everything was going to be ok for him going under, as he'd been sedated so many times in the week leading up to this. The surgery went smoothly and flawlessly, and the surgical site is healing impeccably, the stitches are superiorly done you can't even tell what was done, which for a fairly invasive surgery is amazing. The communication between myself and Dr. Benipal and his team was phenomenal, consistent daily updates, and when Joseph was discharged we were given very in depth after care instructions and signs to watch out for. My wife and I can't thank Dr. Benipal and his team enough for saving our boys life and being so quick to take us in when they did, thanks to Glenn Mountain vet our boy is alive and healthy, not only is he back to himself but even better we have a Joseph 3.0 if your in need of a phenomenal veterinarian look no further, you can entrust your furbaby to Dr. Benipal and his team and not have to worry.

Great Vet. Always do there best to make time for you. People get miserable about spending money when there animal(s) get sick or need medical attention; I always see this frustration directed at the Veterinarian office and staff. This is clear in the reviews. This animal hospital is fair and the vets take the time to go over every detail with you. They make there suggestions on what they feel is best to diagnose and they explain the costs of treatment options. They don’t try and fluff things. They are honest and straight forward. I have 3 pets. Two cats and Golden Retriever. Each has been here and received treatment and I’ve always been happy with my experience. I would recommend this animal hospital to anyone. The Vets and Staff care greatly and always do they best to accommodate you and your furry friends. Remember to be kind. Being a vet is no easy career. They care for your most precious animals and emotions can run to extremes. They have been to school and put in more time than a lot of doctors to do what they do! Once again, I highly recommend these folks :)

Recently, my pregnant darling dog required an emergency c-section. You can imagine how stressful that would be. Dr. Benipal was amazing. Not only did he save our girl, but he also successfully delivered all five healthy puppies! Mom and babies are all doing extremely well as I write this review. Because of Dr. Benipal and the way he carefully and thoughtfully handled the exam and pre surgery care made for a very happy outcome. It’s really obvious once you go there why they have such a high turn over rate of employees.

I am appalled. I found a cat that was hit by a car. I took him here hoping they'd take him in and try to ID him. Instead I was told that either I wait 4 hours for the SPCA to open, or I pay for him to be cremated. I called Ellwood park animal hospital right after and they took him in without hesitation.

This clinic has terrible service .Not take responsibility at all . I am waiting 6 months time to transfer the file to them . And nothing is done . Lack of professionalism! Do not go there

I was sent a cease and desist from their lawyer. Ive deleted my review however they are still horrible humans and I'm not not leaving a review.

Very professional and quick to respond with an emergency we had with our cat who was experiences symptoms of a stroke. Within minutes they were able to diagnose, and on the phone didn't turn us away like several other vets around the area. Would highly recommend them and only them if you have a pet emergency in Abbotsford.

So I've been using them for years. They save my kittens 10 years ago. Last week I had to put one of my cats down. When I brought her is to get checked out he gave me a straight up no none sense approach. Didn't try to sell me on tests and procedures that would go nowhere. He told me she had a mass (cancer) and to not let her suffer. As hard of a pill as it was to swallow I appreciate the honesty. I took her back under 48 hours later and had her out down as she was quickly deteriorating. That process was nice and peaceful and I really thank and appreciate them for the whole thing. They made a really tough moment a little easier. I'll continue to go back.

I would recommend Glenn Mountain Veterinary. I had a bit of an emergency yesterday with my little dog. I called my vet in Chilliwack who was more concerned with Covid protocols and waiting to see how she was the next day, than the care of my dog today. I phoned my son’s vet in Abbotsford who was so quick to respond. They took us right away, got some meds in her and a follow up call today to see how she is doing. I would recommend Glenn Mountain vet to anyone looking for quality care for their fur babies.

This vet place was sooo terrible. I booked my puppy an appointment only because it was one of the few places that was open on Sunday. I walked in and they said I needed a leash and the vet wasn’t even there yet. They never communicated on the phone that I needed any of that. So I drove home and then came back. As I walked in the doorbell rang and and no one even came. I walked out of there and drove home. They never even called back. Would not recommend whatsoever. They don’t seem reliable whatsoever.

Dr. Benipal and his staff did an emergency C -section on my Labrador when my regular vet in Chilliwack was unable to do the time sensitive surgery needed to save mom and the litter. With very little notice Dr Benipal stepped up and I quickly did the 25 min drive to Abbotsford. They took my lab in and all I could do for the next 60 minutes was hope and pray. Emergency C sections are far from routine and require several staff and are extremely time sensitive. When I heard the cries of the puppies and Dr Benipal told me Kiyah and 8 healthy puppies were all fine, I almost fell to my knees in thanks. Without Dr Benipal my story could have been one of totally devastating results. I was so happy to be sent home shortly after the surgery with 8 healthy pups and a nursing mom. Thank you sooo much Dr. Benipal and all the staff at Glen Mountain Animal Hospital.

My mother in law's beloved cat Sampson was taken to this vet with a fungal skin condition. The veterinarian opted to open him up with and unnecessary and expensive surgery instead of getting him the antifungal medication he needed that was a short distance away in Burnaby. Sampson died in our arms the next day. The only thing I can think of WHY the vet did this was because...it made him more money. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET TO THIS VET.

My family brought in our older cat back in April of last year, To get a rabies vaccine so we could bring her to a new place. as we were moving, and going to take her with us. They didn’t inform of any risk before hand but mentioned she had breathing issues. 30 minutes after receiving the vaccine she was freaking out and died in mother’s arms. We believe they were after our money, or else they would and should not have gone through with the vaccine. I will never return to this vet.

Horrible business and incompetent staff. Only use this place if you want to be overcharged or put your pets lives at risk.

Absolutely the worst service I've ever had to deal with. Never again will I go there with any animals I own. The receptionist was rude and wouldn't release any info of my cat even though I'm her owner and they messed up the tattoo and info linked to it. I'll gladly go to another vet and pay double then go there again.

My cats have been going to this vet their whole lives. They are great and didn't even charge me when I brought in my cat with a sample of something he threw up. Their prices aren't outrageous and I've always had amazing service.

DO NOT GO. ZERO STARS My cat was brought here(17sept18) by an amazing human who found him in distress. They did not assess and released him to me saying "he was fine, he was just up eating and drinking water." HE COULD NOT WALK. I asked if he was drugged, they said no. I stood there telling the receptionist something was wrong and she insisted he was okay. Trusting them i took him home. Took him to another vet. His right femur was SHATTERED. His left leg was fractured. The released him into my care with no assessment on a visibly distressed cat. I repeat, DO NOT GO!

Terrible animal hospital, deserves to be shut down! I repeat do not bring your animal here!!
