This is a review based off of when Greiffenhagen was Vet/owner. I didn't continue care during switch based off of no knowledge of switchover untill trying to make an appointment and having to pry why hours changed.

Davis Ford Animal Hospital was amazing. We had to euthanize our beloved pet, they walked me through all the steps, explained everything and were amazing in the time of losing a close friend and loved one. I can't recommend them any higher than five stars or I would.

Not even worth 1 start to be honest. Terrible communication with clients and lacking in active listening skills in regards to the animals' course of care. They also guilt trip the owners if they cannot afford the top dollar care plan and then will not actively work with them on an affordable care plan. The vet also doesn't have the capability to explain the difference in health care options in regards of benefits or cons of certain procedures done to the animal (patient).

This place has no compassion what so ever. I am very surprised at the reviews. My sister and family came in to put her very old and sick dog down. We contacted this vet twice before we came in. They gave us a price and when we got there is doubled. The rude lady in the front told us it was illegal to bury our dog in PWC. While said lady went to the back we googled it and it is NOT illegal in Prince William County. They stood there and cried while paperwork was prepared that should have been done before we got there so we didnt have to stand there for 15 min with kids crying. When she gave them the paperwork with hours of operation this disgusting pig said "I guess you wont be needing that though". We have put dogs down in the past and we are immediately given a room so that we can grieve in private, vet techs and the vets themselves have always said im sorry asked if we need anything. Needless we took our dying dog and left and went to another vet. I will be contacting the humane society, local media, as well as any and all social media outlets that we can put our experience on. Shame on all of you. You should train your people. How are you working with animals and have no sensitivity? DISGUSTING.

The staff at Davis Ford Animal Hospital is absolutely amazing! They helped make a very difficult time in our life easier! Obituary: Rocko Pacino (2005-2019) Rocko Pacino passed away peacefully with his mom and dad of 14 1/2 years by his side at Davis Ford Animal Hospital in Woodbridge, Virginia on December 27, 2019. Rocko was adopted by his family on August 23, 2005 in Sweetwater, Tennessee at the Flea Market. He was a Boxer/Shepard mix with his tail docked and dew claws removed. Rocko Pacino was of dog genius quality, which was recognized by all who met him. He could sit, drink water on command, stand on his hind feet and turn around, just to mention a few of his amazing talents. He loved to chase squirrels in our back yard and occasionally a fox or even a skunk. He loved to have his head petted and would place his head under your hand if you didn’t oblige him. He was always happy and you could see his wiggle butt to prove it. He loved to snow sled with the kids and was our protector every hour of every day! He was loved by everyone who met him. He will be missed by many, but none more so than his mom. Through thick and thin, she loved him with with all her heart. Besides his mother, Rocko Pacino leaves behind his father Steve, his sisters Natashia & Odessa, grandchildren Odajiah, Anastasia, Gary, and Odyssey, and his niece YaVonne. All dogs go to Heaven, Rocko Pacino is among them now. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

Referred to DFAC by a friend years ago. Stayed because of Dr Griffenhagen and his well chosen team. Since practice has been sold and Dr Griffenhagen and team are no longer there, I don't think I can stay - especially since being offered an unnecessary treatment - which is what I loved about Dr Griffenhagen - good price, great advice, no unnecessary treatments. Good while it lasted - good luck DFAC.

We rescued an older dog who is really fearful right now after several years in a shelter. The staff was able to complete her exam while still giving her space. We will definitely make this our regular vet.

This is our primary vet for our dog. The staff are very kind and helpful! We've been here a bit for a dog we rescued early in the summer and they have been super helpful with everything as new dog owners.

My boy Diesel had the best time there yesterday. Everyone was super friendly to him, he got to eat tons of cheese, got a nice pedicure, and he finally got some relief for his itchy paws. The Dr. and Vet tech were great with our grumpy old pup.

I would not recommend this vet for a flea let alone a dog. I breed dogs and trusted Dr. Scott with the care of my puppies. 2 weeks after i had them give their first shots and a worming. I had this done to 8 pups and not one problem with the other pups. One puppy how ever developed a problem and had to be taken to an emergency care facility out of state. The problem cost my client $1600.00 The problem was hook worms that i payed to have taken care of. I went to the vet on 10/10/18 in hopes of recovering some money for my client. I was take to a back room so that clients of their's could not hear what was going on. ( like it has happened before). Need less to say she did not care or show any concern at all. She did not even want to look at the paper work from the other vet. This is the most uncaring vet i have run into. I recommended the vet to a client for one of her other dogs. I had recommended Dr. Love she seems to truly care. She got Dr. Scott and was very unhappy with the services. She said that Dr, Scott was very rude and uncaring. Davis Ford animal clinic will never see me or anyone that i talk to for service again. And to think i recommended them at one time. I meet and see a lot of clients! There is more to it than collecting money. I would have recommended zero stars if i could! Update I was contacted by the Vet office about this post and ask to provide contact information . They should have it! But i provided it thinking they wanted to contact me about the issue. Guess what. After 3 day no one has contacted me. That really shows a lot of compassion now doesn't it. Think twice about taking you loved one here!

The old management was great to work with. These new Doctors are just to much to deal with.

Do dental surgery not done by others. Very concerned with health and well-being of animals, not just a business. Fully discusses options and risks of procedures.

I have been brining my critters here for 10 years now. Their service is always fast and friendly. Their prices are very competitive and our pets are always treated like the loved family members they are.

This place was great while Dr. Griffenhagen was there. I traveled many miles to get my dogs to see him - so much better than any Vet in Stafford County! Such a reasonable and very honest Doctor. He will be greatly missed. But it's under new management and just like all the rest, out for a dollar!
