Frome and Foster joined the practice, I found they are just the same. I love NSAH and appreciate the superlative care they provide. Highly, highly recommend.

I've been coming here for more than 15 years and I absolutely love the staff and the veterinarians. I've never had an issue here, and the veterinarians have always prescribed the right medications which I've had trouble with else where.

Dr. Hambright has been our vet for 30 years, originally at another practice, then at Nebel Street. He has performed numerous procedures and surgeries on our many cats. He has a gentle touch and always takes the time to address concerns. The facility is clean and I have complete confidence in his skills. Many of our friends and family have switched to his practice over the years and remain very happy with the practice.

We used to go to a different vet in the area but needed a new one and heard good things about Nebel Street Animal Hospital, and could not have been more pleased with the staff, service and vets. You can tell that the staff and vets really care about the animals that come through their door by their gentle touch and compassionate calm demeanor. We are the type of people to ask 100 extra questions about our dogs health, even at a basic checkup, and the vets are more then happy to take the extra few minutes to make sure our nerves are eased before we leave. I recently moved to Rockville My pet is a bit skittish and she is 11 1/2 years old. I found the doctor and the staff very attentive, friendly and thoughtful. The appointment was for an annual check up requiring several inoculations, blood tests, and medications. It was an expensive day, however I felt that the price was fair and reasonable. A good friend introduced me to Nebel Street Animal Hospital and I would recommend them to my family and friends. Looking forward to a long healthy relationship.

After having some good experiences with Nebel St, they have really turned for the worse. The final straw for us was when they suggested that we bring our sick dog in at 7:30am the next day and they would see her when they had a chance and we could pick her up later. To me this is an awful solution. Why would I want to cage my sick dog for their convivence. Then to top it off, the woman Susie on the phone gets into an argument about why dogs shouldn't eat grass. Veterinary Referral Associates is where we ended up going and they have a great process that to see dogs right away and if you have to wait they have you wait with your dog.

Dr. Hambright and the other vets are kind and seem detail oriented. At our first visit with our dog, Dr. Hambright gave her the most extensive exam she had had in years. RJ at the desk is simply fabulous. He is kind, helpful, remembers pets & people and is an extraordinary representative of the practice.

I had an urgent situation with my cat in the morning the day before Thanksgiving. I called several vet hospitals around and all said no availability even though it was very urgent. The Nebel Street animal hospital told me that they don't have availability either, but they also told me to bring my cat as soon as possible and they will try to check on her. A short hour or two after I dropped my sick cat, they called me back and said that not only they checked on my cat but also did the procedure she urgently needed even though normally this would have to be scheduled weeks in advance. My cat is feeling so much better now, and I am very thankful to this vet hospital for taking care of her so quickly and conducting the necessary procedure the same day even though I didn't have an appointment. PS: The price at this hospital was reasonable too when compared to other places (if these places had taken my cat for urgent care).

I've been bringing my dog here for several years now and I believe she has received excellent care. Doctors and staff are caring and personable, take time to do a thorough exam, explian everything, and answer questions, never felt rushed. Front desk staff always friendly and knowledgeable too.

When my veterinarian of 20 years retired I tried another animal hospital and was very unhappy. I stumbled across Nebel street and received a glowing review from a trusted friend. This is the only animal hospital that holds up to the standards of my old vet. Dr. Hambright and all of the vets on staff are fantastically skilled, knowledgeable, and compassionate. The support staff is the same. I feel safe and happy with the care my animals receive. It is rare to find such an exceptional team of caring professionals under one roof. Their dedication to animals and science is clear.

First let me start by saying I hate how when I called to make an appointment with Dr. Hambright they try to push me to somebody else that they’ve added to the practice. My animals have been seeing Dr. Hambright for 16 years. I made an appointment to bring my Sphinx cat in to be checked at the time of making the appointment no one mentioned anything about a carrying case for my cat. (A towel was fine before) When they called to confirm and gave me numerous details on protocol what they do and don’t do, no one told me that my cat had to come in a carrying case. flash forward to sitting outside and they tell me that I have to purchase a cardboard carrying case because I don’t have one for my cat as opposed to giving me the cat cage for this trip and informing me that in the future I would need to have the cat in the carrying case, seeing as no one mentioned this little detail about them require them. The attitude and non-professionalism on the part of the office manager Kelly was off the charts!! I’m a business owner I would have just given the client the carrying cage saw the cat and kept it moving. I’ve left a message with Kelly for Dr. Hambright let’s see if she gives it to him.
