I have nothing but the best to say about CVCA Rockville and Dr. Hickey. They took excellent care of my baby during the visit, answered any of the questions I had and thoroughly explained his condition and treatment plan. The best part is that they let me in to be with my fur baby during his exam which helped to keep him (and me) calmer during our visit. I like how they follow up to make sure my dog is doing well and their bedside manners are impeccable. I would highly recommend this practice.

I'm so glad to have CVCA close to home and have now had two dogs with heart murmurs. Both times, the team treated us with compassion and gave thorough explanations of the findings and prognosis. It must be so difficult to give sometime unwelcome news, and I appreciate how CVCA balances being forthright with understanding.

Took my cat here to have a heart murmur examined. Staff were friendly, professional, kind. They explained everything to me as they gave my cat an echocardiogram. They clearly explained what is wrong with his heart and how it can be treated with meds. Facility is clean. Wait time was zero. Communications were good. Highly recommend.

We are very happy that we chose CVCA for our dog Rocky. The staff: Lisa, Jen and Alyssa are wonderful, friendly and caring! Rocky loves them, and it makes his anxiety laden visits so much easier. Dr. Hickey has been fantastic with his explanations of conditions and medication recommendations. You can see and feel that he is a true dog lover in his interaction with Rocky. I can't say enough good things about this place. My cat, hyperthyroidism, went to the ER few days ago and the ER doctor said possible congenital heart failure and recommended to go see a cardiologist. I took my cat here yesterday and met up with Dr.Jacob. First, the facility is amazing and immaculate, second the nurses and technicians were very nice, friendly and took really good care of my cat. Third, Dr. Jacob was incredible, she listened to all my concerns and answered all of my questions. When she performed the ultrasound on my cat's heart, she explained everything in detail while doing it which gave me great comfort. I also really appreciated the mo wait time and the speed of getting me a report. I highly recommend this clinic

The entire staff at CVCA makes us feel as if our pet is the most important patient they see at their practice. No one's pet visits CVCA unless there are concerns, so at a time of great stress for our cat and for us, they are able to ease everyone's anxiety with their patience and positivity. Additionally, through their diligence and in conjunction with our primary care vet, our girl has made considerable improvements to her condition and is back to being the active & cuddly girl we know.

My 70lb hound has a heart murmur that we have to monitor and these folks are absolutely fantastic. They love Braxton, they break all of the diagnosis down in a way that is easy to understand. I can’t say enough good things about their care!
