The doctors and staff here are all wonderful! You can tell that they genuinely care about their patients and are great with our unfriendly dog. They’re very careful and patient. We highly recommend Caring Hands in Rockville.

The staff at Caring Hands have been very helpful and kind to our dogs and family for the last year we have been with them. We lost our pup unexpectedly and the staff sent such kind words to my family and have helped us through the process of grieving but also through the process of caring for our other dog. The staff is always so accommodating and show so much love to our dog that we feel at ease and trust the professional opinions of the doctors. I love their system of appointments and notifications; just makes the process so easy. I recommend them to anyone whom has a pet that requires their veterinary services.

The staff and facility at the Rockville location are amazing. I imagine they deal with a lot of difficult people and do so with poise and grace. My almost 16-year-old old Boston Terrier/Pug mix has been seeing Dr. Akande for about 2 years. They go above and beyond to calm me and my dog. I needed a prescription for special food for her and they were able to get it to my incredibly fast even though they still had appointments going on. I'm so grateful for all they do for us! Pro tip: despite it being a hospital, you don't need to be having an emergency to make Caring Hands your new vet. They are our regular vet and we have regular check ups there, and you should too! ????

I love the vets here. They always take the time to answer my questions and explain what's best for my pets. I have excellent service for the money I pay. They always take the time to check on my babies post any procedure. The staff is also super friendly and very accommodating. I could not recommend them more.

When I adopted two adorable kittens last year, I knew I needed to find a place that was convenient to get to but also someone I trusted and I found that place with Caring Hands Animal Hospital. They are so super helpful, responsive, and amazing with my rather skittish cats...so I am so grateful I found this animal hospital. Also they have an online system where all of your records are kept and that is super helpful. Love everything about this place!

I work for a rescue. Multiple times I have taken pets there, only for the vet techs to mix up dogs, forget tests, and do the wrong tests. Very rude and unprofessional front desk staff. I literally talked to 4 different techs, none of them could agree or confirm the tests today for 2 dogs. All 4 gave me different answers. Ultimately wouldn’t provide service. Rarely is there ever a supervisor or vet available to supervise all the inexperienced staff. Very upsetting if you have fragile, senior dogs.

I took my new dog there for her first vet visit. My dog was a bit nervous. Dr. Reynalds and Meghan (the tech) got down on the floor and played with my dog. They were able to get an exam and give her shots without a problem. I really liked everyone.

Trying to schedule an appointment wasn't just a disappointment but was a horrible experience in the past up to today which clearly appeared as a discrimination based on my nationality, causing me financial damage and being called names based on my background.

The cat rescue where we adopted our two cats recommended this vet clinic. These folks have provided very good care for our two cats, including emergency care. Pricing is very reasonable and they are very good at not recommending unnecessary procedures and making recommendations that are meaningful for our pets' well-being. Both vets and staff have proven to be highly competent, very willing to answer questions, and very friendly/caring. We feel very fortunate to have them as our vet provider.

My at Gracie has been there three times. The receptionist are very helpful.The vet has very Caring hands!

We've been taking our dog, Gadget here since the day we got her. They have always been personally, and great with our dog. We really appreciate the time they take during there exams, that they call to checkup on our dog on the days after an exam when she is sick, that they even write what types of treats she likes to help her cooperate during the exams. Their prices have also been reasonable, and we definitely recommend them/plan on using them for the foreseeable future.

This is my first time owing a pet. Caring Hands Animal Hospital, the vet technicians, and Dr. Streck has been incredibly helpful in treating and caring for my cat. When I first adopted him, he started sneezing and got sick from the shelter. I was extremely concerned. It was difficult to schedule an appointment due to the COVID19 pandemic but Caring Hands Animal Hospital was able to fit me in their schedule. They are also available on the phone and everyone is so knowledgeable. The vet techs also offered to trim my cat's nail for free and the doctor gave me a free month sample of Revolution Plus (for heartworms, ticks, and fleas). Following the initial check up, Caring Hands would email me to follow up on my cat's status and they are incredibly responsive whenever I email them about any concerns. DEFINITELY CHECK THEM OUT IF YOU HAVE A PET! WORTH EVERY CENT!

There are so many wonderful things to say about this amazing vet. Our girl Sloane started seeing Dr. Streck about 8 years ago when she was at another Caringhands based in Virginia. Dr Streck is incredibly skilled, knowledgeable, thorough and delicate in her care. We actually ended up following her to Caringhands Rockville. Even with the longer drive time and other vets closer to us, we knew that it was all worth it. Sloane was very timid of vet visits and Dr Streck and her staff always made us and our girl feel welcomed and cared for. We love them and would recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional quality and professional veterinary care. Wonderful staff!

They are one of those places that will make sure you keep coming in order to gain as much of your money as possible before they ship you off to a real animal hospital/ animal surgery center. Trusted the Vets here, wish I hadn’t. *UPDATE* They also used my dogs passing as a excuse to try to speak to me about this review and try to get me to change it. I am plain and simply repulsed by this staff. Go somewhere else. And make sure to do your research beforehand.

I am sad to say over the nearly 2 years of me using this vet I cannot recommend them anymore. Over the past two years I've seen the staff and passion slowly slip. Really the all around professionalism just go to the way side. This becoming the new normal at least for this location, so much so that I am sad to say I feel I need to find a new vet. Even after my terrible experience was brought to the team at caring hands it seemed like they could care less if any of the customers had a good or bad experience. I can now confidently say I found an amazing vet now not to far from caring hands. Balance Veterinary Clinic is the polar opposite. I am treated with respect and I feel I and every other customer means a lot.

Our fur baby has been coming here since July and I haven't had any complaints. They have been doing a really good job during the pandemic with appointment scheduling, confirmation/reminders, check in, and phone consulations with the vet tech and veterinary. We have made a same day sick visit, with no problem.We have seen a few different Vets. They were all nice and knowledgeable, but my favorite Vet is Dr.Akande. Unfortunately she was on maternity leave when it was time to spay our girl. However Dr. Streck performed her surgery and Lola had a speedy recovery. Dr. Streck was actually the person who answered the phone when I called to schedule her surgery and went over the process with me again. She answered any questions I had and didn't rush through the call at all. Although they are kinda pricey, I choose this Vet because of the quality of care. I did NOT want to go to the Banfield clinic to get babygirl spayed. They are also conveniently located about 5-7 mins from my house, which is important to me incase we do need a same day visit.

The staff and vet were professional, thorough and pleasant for my entire encounter. I took my mother's cat in for a physical and required shots. They also provide great follow-up.

I needed to reestablish care for my animal after our previous vet moved out of the area, and I chose CaringHands because of its reputation for providing timely and quality care. Scheduling a new appointment and completing intake work was easy, user friendly and with flexible scheduling options. The staff were professional and friendly, and communicative via email and phone. I also appreciate how technology is well integrated into the practice and how I can request electronic billing and medical records. Lastly, I am grateful for the appropriate precautions taken to ensure great care while maintain social distance protocols and communication throughout the appointment of the examination findings and treatment plan. First time patient and besides Godiva's cattitude it was awesome experience. Very clean and smells good. Atmosphere and environment calm. I felt the team there really cared and took every measure to make it a successful visit. So glad I found them and left our previous vet that became very impersonal and would take our cat to back and we had no idea what happened except that our kitty was not happy and gave them a hard time. Thank you for living up to your name "Caring Hands!"

What a wonderful vet! The staff is so friendly and caring - they spent a long time with me and my dog until my pup was comfortable enough to let them examine her. Clean facilities, got me in quickly, and they even called the next day to see how she was doing! I highly recommend Caring Hands Animal Hospital!

Staff and veterinarians are helpful and friendly. You are greeted with smiles! The vet doesn't make decisions without having you involved. It's conveniently located in Rockville, MD but they have other locations as well. The facilities are clean, warm and inviting. With a lot of glass, you can always see what is going on with your pet or choose to be with them at all times!

Love the team at Caring Hands! They’ve been taking care of my diabetic senior dog for a while now and I’m always very pleased with their ability to fit in appointments and glucose curves. Dr. Akande is very responsive and always willing to talk through the care instructions.

Absolutely love this place. Our pup Noodles was at a different animal hospital and he had Giardia. He went back three times over a span of 3-4 months and the lab result still showed positive. It costed us thousands of dollars and Noodles still had diarrhea. We ended up switching him to Caring Hands and boom, he was cured within a month after ONE TRY. We are forever grateful. Fast forward to last week, we had him neutered. The surgery went well. We took him home and the wound was pretty much healed within 48 hours. He also had minimal swelling and the effect was minimal. Absolutely recommend this animal hospital to anyone who has a pet. They showed us that THEY CARE (which is all that matters to us dog owners). Thank you to everyone working at Caring Hands!!!
