River City Dog Excursions is THE best pet service available in Richmond. As a frequent traveller I use petsitting and dog walking services every week. My service is customized to the "T" and I get daily updates, including pictures. Care is provided not only for my dogs and cats but also birds and large exotics. RCDE has also stepped up in emergency situations when I needed coverage; true lifesavers. Highly recommend.

I can’t speak highly enough of River City Dog Excursions! Scheduling walks is so easy and the dog walkers always text me pictures and updates. On the really hot days, they played with my dogs inside rather than risking them overheating which I definitely appreciated! I never worry about my dogs when they’re with the walkers and it’s clear how much they love their jobs. Thank you so much!

I have been using River City for a few months now and they have been amazing!!! I do the mid-day walks and they have worked out great. Eli my dog walker texts me everyday to let me know he has been there ... and even my dog's potty habits :) My dog wears a whistle collar so I know that he is coming and taking my dog on at least a 20-30 minute walk. The price is very reasonable, and April and her team are quick to respond to any questions or concerns you may have. I would highly recommend to anyone!!!

I have been so happy with River City Dog Excursions. When I first meet April and Coleen, my Golden Retriever, Darcy, was a young puppy and needed to get outside and run off her energy! The photos and videos they provided of her at the park and the river confirmed I found the right caregivers. I have been so happy with how accommodating they have been with my schedule and how diligent their care has been of Darcy. I travel frequently and I never have any worries when April or Coleen is with Darcy! I am sad to be leaving the area and know it will be challenge to find anyone as caring, accommodating and with such a passionate love for animals as April and Coleen!! You will be thrilled with their professionalism and care of your cherished pets!

River City Dog Excursions is the BEST dog walking service in the area! I have tried a number of professional services and none of them could live up to my standards. However, April and Coleen are truly a one of a kind service. They have gone above and beyond their call of duty to help me out and they do with a SMILE. I commute to DC everyday and completely rely on April to let my guys out for their mid day break. She has never missed a day and even got my pups their dog food after I ran out. April also follows directions without a hitch and she never sneers at anything I ask her to do. My pups just love her. She did a 4 day pet sitting job for me and it was as if I never left my place. I came home and my condo was in perfect condition and even more surprising was the fact that my pups acted as though I never left. It was truly amazing! I also love the options they provide for walks. The Outings and Nature Walks are an awesome mid week break that my dogs just LOVE! I completely trust April with my pups and River City Dog Excursions is a dependable, trustworthy, and best bang for buck you can get in a dog walking service! YOU GUYS ROCK!
