Kim helped schedule our in-home appointment. She was genuine, caring, and helpful. She did a great job anticipating and answering questions about a very difficult situation. Dr. Laura came to our home and was equally genuine, caring, and …

I would recommend lap of love for your beloved pet. My family and I had a very sick Furbaby, a almost 10 year old Chocolate Lab. He had cancer and it had taken its course. Dr Laura was very genuine and loving to us and our beloved pet. Even after, Dr Laura checks in on us to make sure we are doing okay. It was a very hard decision, however, Dr Laura made it more comfortable for us and our beloved pet.

We had an issue seemingly appear overnight. Submitted an online request once we decided this would be best for our dog and got a call as soon as they opened. They were able to get us an appointment that same day. The doctor was super professional and respectful from beginning to end. From ensuring my dog was comfortable the entire time to answering my children's curious questions. She made an effort to learn everyone in the homes names to make it more personal and less like a stranger came to take our dog away. A devastating moment was handled better than I could have hoped for.

Dr. Laura was amazing. She came to our house for the first time to meet our very sick and dying dog, Kuma. She was very peaceful and made the whole process much better than going into the vet. She walked us through every step and made sure Kuma was extremely comfortable. Although putting a pet down is never easy, Dr. Laura helped to make things the slightest bit easier. She was very supportive, knew what she was doing, came with tissues, had a beautiful paw print made on site, and took pieces of Kuma's fur for memories. I highly recommend Lap of Love and I will always use them when I find myself in these delicate moments. Lots of respect for Dr. Laura.

My wife and I can not thank Dr. Laura enough for helping us through this difficult time, as we said goodbye to our sweet Cassie several weeks ago. Dr. Laura's professionalism and compassion helped make a heavy-hearted experience go very smoothly, and from the minute we welcomed her into our home, we all knew we were in very good hands. Thank you so much!

My wife and I had to make the painful decision to help our sweet Sasha cross the rainbow bridge. The experience we had with Lap of Love was supportive and loving from beginning and on. Having Dr. Kiley come to our home as we said Goodbye to our fur baby was absolutely the most compassionate experience for Sasha as well as for us. For anyone who has to make that choice for their fur baby, I definitely recommend working with Lap of Love ♥️

Great people. Kind, caring, and very compassionate. I used Lap of Love Richmond back in 2016 for my dog. I’ll never do it any other way. Made the best of a heartbreaking decision/moment.

I can’t recommend Dr. Cameron enough. I called Sunday morning about putting down our 14 year old pup Dixie and she managed to make her way to us that evening. Dr. Cameron was a huge source of relief as soon as she arrived. Polite, courteous, and clearly has a deep love for animals. From start to finish, everything was perfect and we are very grateful to her. Highly recommend

When it was time for my dog to be put to sleep they did not answer the phones to make an appointment the following day. This is the hardest and most painful experience and wasn’t made better by the fact we could not get a hold of them. I have been calling for 3 hours with no response so now we have to take her into the vet.

I cannot express the gratitude I have for Laps of Love! They have helped our family so much with such compassion! Their resources are so helpful! Dr. Kiley was such a wonderful comfort to us during this very heartbreaking time. We will miss old Ralphie boy dearly but with Laps of Love's help we will manage on.

I am very grateful that Lenny was able to be at home surrounded by those who loved him when it was finally his time to go. Dr. Sarah explained everything to us, answered all of our questions and genuinely listened to all of our concerns. At no point did the process feel rushed. Thank you, Dr. Sarah.

There’s no good way to say goodbye to a pet but this service makes it as peaceful as possible. Dr. Clarke was great and did such a good job talking us through the process and reminding us of what a good life our pup had.

Dr. Sarah has very gently and peacefully helped two of our angels go over the rainbow bridge. They were my babies and I never thought I would ever be able to live through their deaths. She made it the best possible experience it could be. Both of my angels found her so comforting that they didn't even get up from their bed. Even after they passed, she treated them so gently, as if they were just sleeping. We put on soft music, burned lavender oil and we held them as they left this life. Just 6 weeks ago, we unexpectedly lost our youngest dog at the ER vet. I am so angry I was not able to give her the death she so deserved like my other two babies. Death is such an important part of life. I wish people would stop fearing it and start to focus on the importance of the experience. Dr. Sarah can help with this in the life of your beloved companion.

Dr. Sarah Clarke was wonderfully caring and giving in assisting my 16 year old cat Tony in crossing the Rainbow Bridge. Having her come to our home and allowing Tony spend his final moments peacefully on his favorite perch in our backyard was gift for which I will always be grateful. If it is possible for you and your fur baby to be at home together when his/her time comes, I strongly recommend Dr. Sarah and Lap of Love for their kindness, sympathy, and assistance during such a painful time.
