The providers and staff at Reston Animal Hospital are very compassionate and caring people. I highly recommend them.

I would give this place negative stars if I could. I had to have my mother go speak to them this trip after trying to charge me over 200 dollars for a skin test, and my mom got them to drop the price to 100, which proves that this place is a complete scam of an animal care practice. These people are truly just trying to drain your pockets! I have taken my dog here multiple times hoping for a solution for the same problem with his skin, thousands of wasted dollars and a year later and my dog is still not healed; his skin condition only remained the same not worse because of things I did for him - the suggestions the vet had were worthless and they always seemed to be one step behind me, trying to suggest things that I was already trying. Please save yourself the tears, time and money & take your fur baby to any other vet.

Everyone here is so sweet and treated my dog like their own!

They like my dog, and isn't his ego all that really matters?

Nice and good job from the team, Dr., and technician. Although today I have to say, they were 20 min late for our appointment. That was the only disappointment...

I suspected my dog had a UTI and called to see if I could bring her in to get checked out - this is her normal vet. They said they were completely booked for practically two weeks, but to drop off a urine sample. I did and they called after the results came in and let me know that my dog had a UTI for sure, but they couldn't see her and prescribe medication because they were still booked solid, so I'd have to go to the emergency vet. I went to the emergency vet and waited over 2.5 hours because there were other dogs with bigger emergencies than mine - which I completely understand. However, what I don't understand is that when I talked to the emergency vet, they said they received the urine test results but no analysis, so they called Reston Animal Hospital and had the results explained to them - meaning my regular vet had no time to see my dog and prescribe a common medication, but had time to go over results with another vet... If I wasn't moving in 6 weeks, I'd find a new vet because I am completely done with this place.

Caring staff and great weekend hours. They have a nice pet lobby/waiting area and very experienced vets.

Great place, great staff, reasonable pricing. Love this place! (Though, to be fair: name is a bit misleading - more of a clinic than a hospital :P )

Dr. Cracas is very caring, very conscientious and responsible and an excellent communicator. She is a very compassionate genuine doctor. The techs and administrative people are very professional and customer friendly.

The doctors and techs are great but it's really hard to get an appointment when the your furry friends need it. When to they tell you to wait 2-3 weeks to get an appointment you'd rather go somewhere else.

I took my cat for a year exam and vaccines, and i was not informed about what was going to be performed to her. And also, due to covid 19 restrictions, they do not let you in (really??), so you have to wait outside until they take care of your pet. I ended up paying $200 and was able to see they bill at the very end... very unprofessional... I doubt I will take my cat again

the website has broken elements making it impossible for new customers to make an appointment, and the phone lines are down apparently.

Do not go here. I made an appointment for my new puppy and whoever I spoke with decided not to enter my appointment. So when I called to verify the day before I was told there was no appointment and I would have to wait another week. AVOID!!!!!!!!!

The groomer is great, but the clinic tries to get every dime they can out of you. Customer service is lacking as well, staff doesn’t take ownership nor accountability over their communication (or lack of it). I don’t feel they put the pets first.

We take our dog and two cats here, and we've never received anything but the best care. Both the vets and the techs are careful and compassionate with your animals, and they aren't pushy with optional medications. My dog has never liked going to the vet, but she doesn't seem to mind RAH. Love these guys.

Very professional. Sweet to boot. Explained everything we would need for new puppy care. Loving and genuine hearts.

The vets are very caring, do thorough examinations, and will know who to refer to the specialists when they need further assistance. It's convenient in location and hours with weekend hours, which is really nice.

Got an appointment for my cat right away. Excellent customer service both on the phone and in-person. Waiting room is a bit small, but offers plenty of seating and a partition if your animal gets nervous seeing strangers.

I’ve trusted the staff at Reston Animal Hospital with our two Shelties for the last year. We’ve always had excellent care and scheduling has never been an issue. Recently our elderly cat was diagnosed with liver cancer and the staff was more than wonderful as we navigated her diagnosis, treatment, and ultimately our goodbyes. Highly, highly recommend for quality service to both animals and humans alike!

I have taken my dog and cats here for years, but when I called at 7:30 this morning to get an appointment with my doctor because one of my cats was not eating I was told she was booked up for the day (this was at 7:30 in the morning!) It has happened the last few times I have called, either for an appointment or with a question. I called another animal hospital and got a 12:20 appointment, no problem. I've already switched my dog and it looks like cats are next.

We have been going to Reston Animal Hospital for seven years and both of our dogs have always received excellent medical care from the staff. All of the doctors and veterinary assistants are friendly and put both of our dogs at ease. Because we are so comfortable with the staff and facility we also use Reston Animal Hospital for boarding when we travel. They now have Sunday hours and are always willing to get your pet in on short notice or in emergencies. We have never had a negative experience here and heartily recommend Reston Animal Hospital to all pet owners in the area.

I have been consistently over charged at the hospital. The first time was during a nail clipping for my dog. They charged me for 3 people because they cut my dogs nail to short and it bled so bad that a vet had to come in and bandage it. The most recent time was today when my dogs nail was ripped...because they told me to wait between clippings to let the grow longer (something I have never been told at other vets we have gone to in other states we have lived in). I had to pay the same price as a annual exam however they took 13 minutes to look at my dogs nail and clip off the millimeter piece that was hanging off...I could have done that good to know that they wanted to charge $70 for that. I was also told that the doctor took her time to look up and write medicine doses for my dog....she prescribed fish oil and gelatin...which last I checked aren't medicine. Moral of this is DONT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY AN ARM AND A LEG. The only redeeming thing about this place was how nice the vet tech Colby was. However I will not be going back. Find another vet before they rob you blind.
