Lucky dog is absolutely the best! I have been using them for many years and have always been impressed. The dog I have now can be aggressive when he is frightened and he LOVES going. He is always excited when we get there and happy when I pick him up!

I brought my 9 month old Black Lab here for her first professional grooming, and I could not be happier with the service. Rachel was the groomer that took care of my puppy, and she did a fantastic job. She made sure it was a really great and positive experience for her, took amazing care of her and did a great job grooming her. Will definitely be back and ask for Rachel again.

Owner and staff helpful with appointment timing. They are good with the dogs, tries to learn the dogs behavior and attitude. (For instance, our dog is not as rambunctious around 1:30/2:00.)

Emily at Lucky Dog did a fabulous job on my "special needs" rescue pup. Her calm and gentle presence is a good influence on my terrier mix. Her haircut is exactly what I wanted, and my dog seems extra soft! I appreciated the first-time rescue dog discount, too. The bowtie they sent her home in is too adorable to take off. I highly recommend Emily for puppy spa day...she is a great new hire!!!

Lucky Dog Grooming is the best! I've taken all 3 of my dogs there (2 are deceased now). Whenever I mention haircut, Linda, and Melissa to my dog Shiloh, she gets excited and ready to go. The groomers do a wonderful job and everyone is pleasant, including the shampoo person. I'm not in the best of health and there's been times when Melissa would carry Shiloh to the car for me. Linda's looked out for me and my dogs in so many ways, you won't believe how kind she is. I love them and I I consider them family. Today I told Linda and her sister that I'm their long lost sister! Today was the second time we took our dogs, Luke and Chewy to Lucky Dog. It is happy and full of good energy and kindness. It is clear and obvious that everyone here loves their jobs and loves the dogs. I am so happy that my doggies are cared for ..... and the GROOMING .. oh yea.. PERFECT .. and knowledgeable . The babies are happy and look fantastic. Highly RECOMMEND . If you are not coming here you are "unlucky".

My dog was a bit of a bear ???? they handled him with as much care and dealt with too many scratch and bite marks but still managed to make him look like a doll! I’m very impressed with their professionalism and care

My yorkie baby Oreo has been groomed twice now by lucky dog groomers and we couldn’t be happier our baby always leaves looking like a million bucks and he’s always smiling. They are so attentive to the dogs I will not be taking my fur baby anywhere else.

Love that this place has no issue with bigger dogs. Seems to really customize service and treats every dog as individuals (no sense of stereotyping dogs) and assesses temperaments based on interaction with dogs. Did a great job with our 1.5 yr old Airedale puppy!

We have a yorkie and shih tzu who can be very nervous away from us. Lucky does not cage our animals while they wait so they feel comfortable. We expect short and precise cuts and that is what they get. Prices are reasonable, as i have 2 pups. We use to pay $85 each when we lived in Alexandria. Thanks Lucky for keeping our pups looking and feeling good!
