Beau is an absolute God send. I have two pups, neither of which like having their paws touched. I was told by other groomers they would have to be put on an anxiety medication if I wanted to have them groomed there. Beau not only got the job done within 10 minutes, but my dogs genuinely enjoy getting groomed & their nails done now. I cannot rave enough about how amazing Blue Collar is and how thankful I am for the time they spend both getting to know & continuing to build the relationships they do with your fur babies! Highly highly recommend.

Beau and Melissa and their team are very knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about what they do. Their salon is spacious and everyone seems to work well together and are all very friendly. You can be confident you'll be happy with their services and the groom!

We love Blue collar. I would never take my dog anywhere else. They really make you feel like family and make a personal connection with your dog. My dog loves how much she is fawned over there and gets so happy and excited to go. They always do a great job and are good with Husky’s/dogs with thick hair.

Fabulous! I have a Great Pyrenees and an Antolian Shepard/Great Pyrenees mix that I have groomed. They do a wonderful job and both come home clean and happy.

I really like them it was my babies 1st time and they did a wonderful job on my babies and they took they time will be taking my babies back

We love the staff here. We actually live outside of Richmond and schedule our dogs appointment with Teresa on the weekends we are at a local campground so we can use her services!

I get my dog's nails there and usually it's Teresa and she is awesome. I have 2 Chihuahuas and a mixed lab/huskey.

Everyone here is lovely.. and they treat every animal as there own...would recommend them to anyone...

I have been taking my 15yo German Shepherd to Blue Collar for nearly 3 years now. They are always so patient with him and make sure he is comfortable. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my older dog's needs. They are always friendly and informative when taking him in, and do a great job with this challenging coat.

Your pups are gonna get spoiled here! Love taking them there, they always come out looking good, and smelling Better!

My corgi came out a fter and fluffier than I had ever seen him..he looked and smelled wonderful. This will be a repeat business for us.

I am very happy after my first time taking my two doodles here. I was nervous because they'd been going to a mobile groomer for years. However, Teresa was incredibly kind and personable and made me feel comfortable leaving my dogs with her. I showed her a photo of how my dogs were previously groomed and she did exactly what I asked, which is appreciated more than she knows. The most important thing for me is groomers who show my dogs kindness, and you can tell Blue Collar is a place that truly loves dogs. So relieved I found an excellent new groomer! Thanks, Teresa!

Excellent! Wonderful, caring staff. My Akita went in with her winter coat popping out nonstop. She came out beautifully groomed and everything I'd asked about had been addressed. Blue Collar is very affordable and worth every penny plus tips!!

Blue Collar Dog Service has terrible customer service. We requested Julia and/or Sierra take care of our girls as they have been thier groomersfor many years before Blue Collar was even around. We even booked their appointment weeks in advance. To our dismay and without notification, one of the girls was groomed by Bo, who I assume must be the owner. Bo did not take the time to style our dog, rather he just unevenly buzzed her in an obvious rush job. He is a horrible groomer with no attention given to detail. When we raised our concerns with management they did not care. They made excuses and didn't offer an apology. To make matters worse Bo's ego was so bruised he was extremely rude and forced us to take our money back and requested we find a new groomer. This is not what we wanted, we wanted our girls to continue with Sierra/Julie as they have been for years. This is no different than going to the same hairstylist for years and then one day a random guy comes up and cuts your hair without asking. Then when you tell him HE did a bad job, he then gets upset and bans you from seeing your normal stylist. I recommend avoiding this shady business man at all costs.

Just moved to the area and they squeezed my baby in. Petco rejected my senior dog because of his gimp leg. Blue Collar said bring that baby to us! They did a great job and was so good with him! They will be getting my business for life now. Thank you Blue Collar staff.

Blue Collar took such good care of our new rescue dachsund pair. They are so fearful (and one is a senior) but Blue Collar was amazing for their first time!

I cannot say enough great things about Blue Collar. I take my large German shepherd there and they are amazing with him. He is temperamental, but Beau and his staff were incredible with him. They also recently groomed my mother's dog who was involved in a house fire and she came out smelling fresh and looking beautiful! This will forever be the place I take my dogs.

Absolutely amazing staff. They are compassionate and empathetic to the animals that they care for. Our dog ????, Charlee was treated like a queen by them. We are beyond grateful for the way Charlee was taken care of. Thank you all for being awesome and so loving to her.

The only Groomer my Chihuahua will let cut his nails. Chico was refused service at Petco because he growled. Been going to Blue Collar for 2 years. They are very kind, gental and patient with my dog that was nervous and scared. Now his nails are done without trama and stress.

I had previously taken my dog to the vet to be groomed, but they have changed their policy with the virus and I had to find a new place. Blue Collar Dog Services to the rescue! They were able to take my dog quickly and I was able to do all of the registration online. I could "shop" the services, pick and choose what I wanted, and book right online. They were so responsive to my questions as well. When I dropped him off/picked him up, everything was done outside and with social distancing in mind. They had him done in an hour and the price was so reasonable, too! AND he looks so amazing! This place is my new groomers! I highly recommend them to everyone!

First time using their services today. The bath/grooming services were wonderful. I am very pleased and will use them from now on. Thank you Teresa Fowler for such an exceptional job.
