I am new to the area and they got us right in to take care of my sick pup. We are very greatful and appreciative.

I just got my puppy spayed by Dr. Bender on Monday and I only have great things to say! I had full trust going into the surgery, as Dr. Bender already spayed my parents dog years ago. My biggest worry was my puppy being lonely and in her crate while I wasn't there. However, the entire staff took amazing care of her and gave her more love and attention than I could have ever even asked for. I would absolutely recommend to anyone in the area who is looking for a new vet!

Great Vet! Have been taking my cat here for over a year, all the vet assistant and Dr. Bender are very nice and professional. They called me to check in on a stray cat that I was fostering because they care! I highly recommend them. Thank you all for being great!

They delete reviews that rate them low. Dr. Benson is a scammer and tried to have me run a bunch of tests on my cat that were unnecessary to try to get me to pay more. They shaved my cat without even asking or informing me that they were doing it, so my poor kitty was bald from his neck to his chest. When I came in to ask questions about the tests that he recommended for my cat he got irritated and condescending because I wanted to be informed. Not going here and I advise everyone else to stay away.

Grove Center Veterinary Hospital is the best Veterinary facility I have used. Dr. Bender and the staff are terrific!

We have 2 kittens that we take to Grove Center. We had also taken our previous cats there too before they passed. Dr. Bender and his staff are wonderful. They make sure you make well informed decisions and are great with our pets. I feel very safe in our decision to bring our cats there. They have an answering service and unfortunately we've had to use the them a few times when our very old cats were ill. I knew that when we had an emergency Dr. Bender was just a phone call away. I hope he gets some sleep, I know we had to get a hold of him several times in the span of a couple months there at the end but I can only imagine how many people need to as well. Another great thing about them is they don't overcharge. Pets can be EXPENSIVE and usually unexpected bills occur from having them but I am happy to say that Grove Center is very fair in their pricing.

They are always very welcoming and helpful. I'm so happy we found this place. The team takes a good care of our husky girl.

I am a new dog mom and I was frantically searching for a vet in the area. I reached out to Grove Center Veterinary Hospital and the receptionist I spoke with was so knowledgeable. She answered all of my questions and the ones she wasn't sure of she assured me that the doctor would be able to answer them. When I arrived for my appointment I met with Dr. Bender and he answered all of my questions and referred me to the library on the website as well. He was so calm with my puppy and made her feel at ease. He is definitely a breath of fresh air!

Dr. Bender is an extremely knowledgeable and experienced vet. After meeting him, I felt immediate relief knowing that my dog was in good hands. He is thorough, thinks ahead, and communicates very well. The staff was also really friendly and professional. Thank you so much for helping my furry baby =)

Dr Bender and Staff are amazing. They were so kind and accommodating to my 11 year old St. Bernard. The care and kindness shown Tank was very much appreciated, down to cutting Tank's nails. It is clear Dr Bender and staff are invested in giving top notch care to each patient. Dr Bender is extremely smart and strategic with the care plan for animals. My Saint was on a medication that I thought was giving him pain relief for his arthritic condition. It wasn't even appropriate for his condition. Dr Bender corrected that immediately and was committed to making Tank more comfortable. If you want high quality care for your pet Grove Center is the place to go.

Super nice. Vet techs talked to me at length about my dog’s personality and how much they liked her. Dr. Bender was really helpful and gave a lot of good info about options, pricing, and what to expect. Prices were reasonable and I would happily take my dog here again.

Words simply cannot describe how extremely wonderful Dr.Bender, Mrs.Cindy, Angelina and all of the staff here are! Amazing people! They are in this for all of the right reasons! I don’t think I will ever come across a group of people who truly care the way that they do. Most kind hearted people I’ve ever came across! See my review on their Facebook page. Tired of the Foo Foo spay and neuter Vets? I breed and show top Champion sired English Labradors. One of our boys had a significant skin infection on his face. My breeder Vet is far away and this was pretty urgent. I remembered this Vet from the old days back when he did home Visits from a cargo van. I called, Angelina answered and set me up to come in within the hour! She was attentive and took notes so they would be ready to go when I arrived. This is a real, no nonsense, professional, who has years of experience. He knows exactly what he's doing, this is very hard to find these days. His charges for his services and medication is more than reasonable, they are excellent! Your really getting more than you pay for at this Veterinary Clinic! This is an outstanding Veterinarian! He is very thorough and detailed. The tech staff was friendly and and are an extension of the Vet and the culture of the clinic. He has done a great job hiring these terrific women that work there. I brought a puppy over today for him to check that went great too. This Vet and his staff treat you and your pet like the pet lovers, that they are, too. Go there with the confidence knowing your pet has the care given to them by a professional clinic, on call 24x7! That's called dedication to your client(s), you, and the patient. 5 stars this clinic is the real deal. Thank you for your help Dr. appreciated.

We are very fortunate to have been referred to Dr. Bender and Grove Center. We were first time pet owners, therefore had no idea about kittens. We took Sweetie for her first vet visit to Grove center and we were pleasantly surprised by the response of Dr. Bender and his team. They are fabulous, compassionate and caring. We love them all at Grove Center.

I cannot say enough good things about Grove Center Vet! I contacted them before I adopted my puppy and they treated me as if I was already a patient and friend. Mrs. Bender and Dr. Bender took time to answer all my questions and even offered me advice that helped me through the adoption process and put my first-time-puppy-mom mind at ease. Since I brought my puppy to his first appointment and every visit since, the care and service we’ve received has been exceptional. Kirsten and Angelina are always there to greet us with a smile (behind their masks!) and my puppy is always super excited to see them, never scared. They have Covid safety protocols in place for everyone’s protection. Service is quick and always ends with a direct conversation with Dr. Bender. The entire Grove Center Vet team is caring, kind, and quick to go above and beyond. I trust them with my fur baby and highly recommend them to anyone seeking veterinary services in the area.

Our dog Riggs was adopted from a D.C. shelter. He was the last dog selected. No one wanted him. He was 30 pounds under weight, just skin and bones. His tail was mutilated and he suffered from a bacterial infection of the skin, but my daughter loved him and wanted him. Riggs made a huge difference in her life. After several vets failed to relieve Riggs of the constant bleeding Dr. Bender took over and nursed Riggs back to health. He prescribed antibiotics, probiotics, anti itch medication and Omega 3 fish oil. He also recommended a sensitive skin and digestive food which Riggs loves. Dr. Benders staff includes two of the greatest Kierstin and Angelina. They are my hero's. They are truly two individuals who go above and beyond the normal level of care for your pet. Mere words cannot do justice for the great appreciation I have for the Grove Center Veterinary Hospital.

Dr. Bender and his staff are quite literally the best in Montgomery County. We have been talking one of our dogs to a practice that closed down but was able to get seen by Dr. Bender so quickly. Takes issues with our pets one at a time and we have never felt so safe! His staff are so responsive via email or phone. I know my pet is being shown love in that office. This place is just simply outstanding! Dr. Bender and his staff are the best. My dog loves it there, what else can I say. I recommend it to anyone who has a pet that even looks something close to a dog- they'll take care of it! Lol. I discovered Dr. Bender a couple years ago when I needed help with an older dog and my vet just wasn't there for me when I needed them. He was very responsive, professional and helpful. We are now using Grove Center Vet Hospital as needed for our new young puppy and could not be happier with their services and staff.

I used Dr. Bender years ago and I loved the fact that he did home visits. We had a Springer Spaniel and Dr. Bender took good care of her whenever it was needed. In July I purchased a puppy and so far, so good!

I am grateful I found Grove Center Vet hospital. Their staff is so kind and you can tell their dedication for animals. The receptionist was so kind and was able to give me a same day appointment. The vet tech, Angelina, was so professional and caring to my fur baby! Dr. Bender called me when he was examining my dog (since I wasn’t inside) he kept me informed and gave me clear directions on how to care for my dog’s condition. After the visit, Angelina came to car with everything prepared and already set me up with my next appointment. I am grateful for this office and I’m glad they are available in this unprecedented time. Thank you staff!

I really like them, but they’re a bit on the expensive side. They’re usually able to squeeze someone in if something comes up though, which is nice.

Dr Bender has been our get for nearly 20 years. We love him and the office staff. He is very knowledgeable yet quite down to earth. They make you feel like your part of the family and take tremendous care of our pets. Currently we have three dogs and two cats and they all enjoy great treatment from Dr. B!
