My family has been using Montrose on & off since the mid 1980s. Today we brought our cat in for his final visit - to be euthanized. Montrose is so sensitive & caring & they have really good prices. I can't recommend another vet more highly. Thanks for taking care of Mouse ????

I've been taking my animals to Montrose for over 25 years. The doctors are skilled, caring and professional, but they also explain things, help you make decisions and provide practical advice. And they understand the struggles owners face and are kind and compassionate. I trust them 100% with my pets' health and care.

I took my dog here for a rabies shot. He had to have an exam in order to get the shot. I drove in, called them, they came out and got him (and I filled out paperwork because we were new), took him in and examed him and gave him his shot. The vet called me and told me how he was, etc. They the brought him out, I paid, & we were done. It was a good experience and they seemed to really care about him and treat him nicely. I will go back for his next doggie needs. I recommend this place.

Dr Stacy is amazing. I’ve taken my old sweet dog there for awhile and the last two visits have been especially good thanks to Dr Stacy, as she has special affection for elderly pups. She clearly adores the animals and also provides you with balanced and honest advice. There’s no guilt or judgment which oddly enough I’ve found hard to find over years of pet ownership! All of the staff are kind and responsive and love the animals. Next up—my 13 year old cat!

Dr. Rubin was outstanding. Did I like what he had to say...heck no. Our beloved family dog is short on time. The way he said it and his empathy is unsurpassed. I have 2 daughters away at college who are devastated..15 1/2 good years so far with our treasured Westie named Snoopy. I would not hesitate to recommend this practice. This place had our dog on expensive drugs that were harmful to his health. The new doctor took him off 2 of the 3 meds and he's much better now. We do not recommend this place.

Met with Dr. Ruben he is the owner and chief Veterinary doctor there. All of his associate doctors are very knowledgeable and very communicative as is the entire staff really. Pricing is probably about middle of the road for the Fairfax area. If you really want a fantastic Veterinary experience go to Montrose I highly recommend them. I have been taking all of my dogs and cats there for 30 years plus. Wouldn't think of going anywhere else!!

Grooming staff quoted 3 different prices in a span of half an hour, and dragged my puppy to the grooming area instead of calming her first. Seeing the pups in cages, I'm not sure this is the place for her.
