This is a great vet practice. They have friendly, experienced staff and take good care of our dog

I accepted a promotional offer for a second opinion at MVP. I was looking for help in getting our elderly cat to eat more. Our previous vet focused on tests, and our feline companion wasn't getting any better. Dr. Chamarande gave our cat such personalized and thoughtful attention. She suggested a medication and some techniques that have helped extend his life. She is very knowledgeable and caring.

BEST veterinary practice in the area! We took our cat George here today for a problem visit and Dr. W went above and beyond to care for him. I have never met such an attentive, compassionate and knowledgeable veterinarian. Savannah at the front desk is also exceptional and extremely accommodating. We will not be going anywhere else for our fur babies! Highly recommend. Thank you Dr. W and Savannah!!!

I can't believe I haven't left MVP a review yet! My pup has been going to MVP for almost a year now and has been since she was 9 weeks old. It has been an amazing experience. They are quick to respond to any issues, Dr. Welebir and Dr. Hitt are incredible and so knowledgeable, and their customer service is top notch. I love them so much I refer all of my dog park friends to MVP. Truly an amazing team! And to make it even better... my pup loves everyone there.

Can’t say enough great things about Mainstay Vet! Today Dr. Welebir took so much extra time with our dog to get him comfortable with them by giving treats and sitting right on the floor with him. The staff is always calm, warm, and kind and offer the best care for our dogs. Best care you will get in the area.

AMAZING CARE AND ATTENTION!!! Dr Welebir, Savannah and the entire Mainstay team go above and beyond to say the least. I can not begin to say enough about Dr. Welebir. She has literally saved our baby boy Harley. We had a horrible experience at another Vet and needed help to bring our Harley back as he was before. Dr Welebir not only took care of Harley but... lol... Harleys moms too. We were all 3 a mess to say the least. We did not trust anyone with him. I keep repeating but DR WELEBIR came out to meet us during COVID when we weren't aloud in and usually the assistants came to the door. She wanted to meet us and Harleys little brother who she was amazing with him as well. I could go into detail and go on and on about Dr Welebir!!! WE LOVE HER!!! Always calling emailing and checking in on Harley to see how he is doing and recovering. And my favorite always says give Harley and Dunkin a kiss from me. Oh wait I need to add this too... I was always so worried dropping him off at first just because of what Harley went through before Dr Welebir... Savannah sent me the best picture everrrrrr of Dr Welebir holding Harley and she's looking down at him and he was just laying on his back asleep content as can be. You have no idea how that literally relieved ALLL my anxiety and worry I had not being in there myself with him. They love him and care about him as we do. Ok Sorry if this was too much...

As already mentioned here, while I do appreciate the care and services by most staff members and vets, the front desk lady is horrible! Erin or Carina I believe is her name. She hardly listens and always seems irritated to be there. My friend says he even felt discriminated for his older age and she kept on ignoring him and acted like she couldn't hear him. I strongly suggest they replace her with someone else before she ruins the reputation of the entire practice, how can we ever trust someone like that with our beloved pets.

We love MVP! All of our dog’s needs are meet when we come for a visit at MVP. They provide quality care to her and qualify information to help us support her and give her a happy and long life. Thanks for always answering all our questions and providing the best care through COVID as well!

The best veterinary in town " they really take great care of my English Bulldogs " and if I have emergency they are always so helpful " years later still comeing to mainstay and receiving top notch care and everyone is so caring "can't ask for more" Dr hitt is outstanding with her vast knowledge " you and your pet will be in good hands ""

Everyone is so welcoming, so helpful, so absolutely wonderful! Dr Welebir has been our vet for a few years and when she moved here we followed. The staff is just as wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable & amazing as Dr Welebir and I would 100% recommend you bring your fur babies here if you’re looking for humans to really care for them the same way you do. Atreyu owned the office, just like he owns anywhere he goes and even found himself a box to hang out in for a bit and they just soaked up every minute of him being a ham! If you’re looking for a new vet, stop looking and book and appointment!!

My wife passed away recently from an aggressive cancer, and Muffin and Rascal were neglected for the last few months. Mainstay Vet did a great workup on Muffin, and even shaved her down as her hair was all matted. Since these were my wife's dogs, I'm really relying on Mainstay Vets to help with their care. They've been great - and I would recommend them to anyone.

The staff at MVP is always friendly and informative. It’s obvious to me that they truly love animals and want what is best for their patients. We drive about 30 minutes to take our dog to this practice and will continue to do so. Full disclosure - we initially chose this practice because we knew someone who worked there. Our experience has been very positive though, or we would have changed in a heartbeat. I love that they love the animals.

We are so grateful for the team at Mainstay! We spent five months in NOVA and our cat had a horrible flair up in his paw that got serious quickly and we genuinely did not know if we were going to lose him. They did not give up. They bent over backwards to help us and help our cat. We learned that he has a rare autoimmune condition called pillowfoot and after careful antibiotics/medication he completely recovered! He even has more energy and is more playful (i.e. mischievous) than ever :)

This is one of the most caring veterinary practices in our area.

Everyone at this practice clearly has a love for animals. We had weekly visits when our Yorkie broke several bones in her paw. They adored her and treated her like family! She never hesitated to go with the staff. I also felt completely comfortable with their Covid protocols. Super clean office even prior to Covid.

This is the first vet that I’ve ever visited, so I can’t compare it to any others, but we were very happy to bring our 8 week old puppy here for his first visit post adoption. He was so nervous that he trembled, but they were very gentle and soothing. They happily answered our nearly interminable questions. My one suggestion would be to make the first puppy visit longer to allow more time for questions and get acclimated. There’s a lot of ground to cover for first time pet owners! :-)

Every interaction from scheduling, to the appointment, to one of the doctors e-mailing an explaination of the lab results, has been the best! Thanks to each and every one of the great folks at Mainstay!

The staff is absolutely wonderful! My dog is a distemper survivor and has severe anxiety about not having me with him all the time. They were very understanding and gentle with him. My dog was so at ease and I cannot thank them enough
