This was quite possibly the worst experience ever!! Owner was very rude the staff were not knowledgeable. I was referred to them just as a go to in case my favorite store was out of a product during this pandemic. First and last experience, I was there for like 5 minutes and that was all it took for me. You are trying too hard to be like your competition and fell way below the bar of excellence in comparison Work on the attitude

I was so pleased today when I picked up my two dogs. We moved to the other side of town and have been searching for a new groomer. After a couple tries elsewhere, we were so happy to find this wonderful place. Everyone is so kind and sweet. I knew my dogs were in caring hands. I’m more particular than most, so I feel you would be very pleased if you chose here:).

Friend’s puppy got a birthday dessert from here and had really bad, colored diarrhea. The safety of the food they make here is questionable!!

Many varieties of dog food and treats! Got my dog a pupcup for his first birthday and goodies. I WILL DEFINITELY be back! Staff was very friendly and helpful...and welcomed us to Charlottesville!

I’m a single parent with two kids and a lovable Labrador. We came into the store, gave all our info, picked our shampoo, about to get a towel when the lady changes her mind and says unless I have another adult with me, I can’t wash my dog. My toddler is secured in my carrier on my back and I have been to several different washes without issue. It’s a shame they’re not accommodating to someone without childcare that needs to bathe their dog.

[intense image] My dog had a very bad diarrhea after getting their birthday cake on his birthday. I would definitely avoid anything they made in house. And frankly, what on earth the food coloring is that?! The discharge looks like an smushed alien. Poor guy’s diarrhea kept us up all night when it was his birthday. Sad.

Employees were rude, hope that wasn’t the owner! Saw a lady walking out almost in tears.

The owner is rude. Other employees are friendly. The self-service pet wash is pretty great.

Excellent selection of premium foods not found anywhere else. The staff is AMAZING!

What a sweet surprise!! When I picked up my dog food yesterday, which was sooooo easy with the curbside service, I was also treated to a little doggie gift box. How kind to be giving away treats during this crazy time when others are hoarding and snatching things out from under your nose. What a blessing to the community. Thank you!

My dawg Lil red loves to go in there to explore. They may be able (probably be able!) to send you home with samples so your pet can get what they like best. Not just for dogs, either. Friendly, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic staff b

Excellent service! They fit my older dog in last minute (before my wedding) after Pet Paradise cancelled last minute. Was a great experience, treated my old dog (15) like a queen! We’re only going here from now on !!!

Made my puppy feel very calm during his first grooming session. Looked fantastic when I picked him up and is very affordable. I'll be returning many more times to come.

I was hesitant to get my Siberian husky professionally groomed imagining how difficult she might be in the process.. everyone at Animal Connection goes above and beyond to make it a really pleasant experience. I can’t wait to get her back there for another de-shedding treatment :)

I took my elderly dog here today for her first grooming since being barred by her previous groomer for becoming aggressive. Carol was great and, with a lot of patience and expertise, she was able to get my dog groomed and looking great! Everyone in the shop was friendly and helpful, and they have great pet products! Highly recommend.

My dog is very scared to have her nails trimmed. Maleah is so patient with her. This is the only place that can do her nails efficiently. Such a small warm environment for my family (my fur babies). Definitely recommend!

This was our first grooming experience with Animal Connection LLC and I have to say, I am over the moon. Our sweet old man came back looking like a million bucks--ears cleaned, nails buffed, bathed, brushed, clipped (right down to his old man toe hair haha), smells incredible, looks (and probably feels) about 10 lbs lighter with all the dead undercoat they removed!! Considering all they did on him and the amount of time it took, they were very affordable, and service was top notch! Everyone my husband and I have spoken to on the phone and interacted with were friendly and professional! Can't wait to have our Great Pyrenees done next weekend!!! Thank you guys SO much!!

Pet wash was so easy to use and they had everything you needed to get your pup clean!

Animal Connection moving to IX has become one of the highlights of 2020 for us! We often take a walk down to treat our pup, get his nails trimmed, or use the dog wash. It has even been a great space to bring our shy foster dogs to get them out of their shells a bit, and to meet potential adoptive families! When we walk by and the shop is closed, our dog still excitedly rushes to the door hoping to get in. Great shop!
