A terrific vets office. Good staff, small independently owned practice. Quite but well used.

The only vet in town that is straight forward, to the point, and gives a damn about your pet. They're small and independent and don't have all the fancy lab tech, but that also means your pet won't have unnecessary tests run on them. The pricing is more than fair for the area and if more tests are needed they will refer you out. All in all the best vet in Bethesda.

Dr. Ferris and her staff are wonderful, knowledgeable, and caring. They have taken care of both of my cats over the last few years. One being a senior with complex needs. I can not thank Dr. Ferris and her staff enough for their care, they treat each pet like it was their own, which is so hard to find.

Very friendly staff and reasonable prices. They don't do anything unnecessary. We are happy.

Dr. Ferris is the BEST. We've seen her since 2010. She even has Sat hrs, so we've kept using her even though we've lived in Alexandria for the last 7 yrs. Her manner is casual, but she obviously knows her stuff. She'll answer all your questions and then some. When she doesn't know, she finds out or sends you to a specialist. I've been able to reach her after hours when we've had really scary stuff going on with our babies. Can't recommend her enough.

We came for an urgent visit with a 9-week puppy who was seriously ill. Despite not having any “patients”, the vet sent her secretary to tell us that she couldn’t see the puppy without an appointment. We offered to make the appointment on the spot since the vet was free, but she declined saying it was too late. Not even my son’s tears or the puppy’s groaning made her change her mind. Awful person.

A Bethesda treasure. Dr. Ferris was kind, compassionate and caring with my Labrador. She was not hurried or trying to up-sell me during my pet's eye examination.

Knowledgeable, very caring. You can tell the Dr and staff love what they do, it’s not about looking pretty or over charging to make patients think they’re getting quality care, which can be typical around here-these guys are legit!

Dr. Ferris is a wonderful empathetic vet and her staff are equally competent and compassionate.

Wouldn't use any other vet. Diane Ferris is reasonably priced, explains everything, clearly loves her furry patients and is highly qualified. I've used Del Ray for almost 30 years. She doesn't attempt to sell unnecessary procedures. Wish I trusted my mechanic as much. Couldn't make a higher recommendation. Staff is lovely and knowledgeable. No frills office. It's not needed.

I love this vet office. Dr Ferris is knowledgeable and friendly. She takes her time yet she respects her clients’ time, as well. She is able to see my dog for same day visits, even if she has to squeeze her in. I am so appreciative of her and her staff for caring so much about my 14 year old pug

I like the staff here, they are down to earth and personal/friendly; they really care about their patients. Small tucked away center, but personable.. if you want to feel like family then go here..????

This is very kind, knowledgeable and careful VET. Dr. Ferris is very thorough and knows animals. It is a NO 'Frills' place but it is an excellent clinic with friendly staff.

I've been bringing my dogs here for years. Dr. Ferris and her staff are always wonderful, and she always does what's best for the animal but not more. Would recommend anyone bring their animals to Del Ray.

Very good veterinarian. What really brings this review to 5 stars is that today in a follow check up after an infection, while checking the teeth of my cat, The Dr. just took the horrible build up tartar from the tooth of my cat with her own fingernails. Other places will take his tartar build up as a chance to overcharge you with unnecessary anesthesia and labs to clean that. Highly recommended.

Dr. Ferris and the staff at Del Ray are very wonderful and caring for both my dog and cat. They are down to earth people who are honest and helpful. They are also incredibly accommodating with schedules and flexibility. Would definitely recommend them!

Dr.ferris is amazing! after adopting a pit bull from the humane society, within 3months she got very,very sick. We were told by 4 other vets to put her down. Dr.Ferris took the time and care needed for our little girl! She found what the problem was and even let me be back with my dog during her surgery. this vet is truly a blessing and is an amazing person. Her staff are always so sweet and kind. Couldnt ask for a better vet.

I have been going to Dr. Ferris for years. She has seen 2 dogs and 1 cat through full and fruitful lives. I highly recommend her for aging pets. She has a no nonsense approach and doesn't run up the bill on you. She won't make up your mind for you but provides good solid advice for you the owner to make informed decisions, and when the hard day comes she guides you along. She is presently taking care of our shelter adopted kitten and all seems to be going well. Don't expect a fancy waiting room or classy settings, but the care is there in a no frills way. Educated, insightful and caring that is Diane Ferris and her staff.

I have an old Lab and a German Shorthair Pointer and I went with them through some difficult periods. I always found sound advice and excellent care including surgery at Del Ray Animal Hospital. I really trust them now.

Dr Ferris is an excellent and knowledgeable vet. Excellent care and recommendations from just a regular health check up to shots to more serious needs. My cat couldn't be healthier and I am always pleased with the service received.
