Our first appointment at this vet went wonderful! Their system is efficient and thorough. The vet took her time with us to explain any issues our pet was having. We are happy and excited to have our pets go here!

Great establishment, I have been taking my dogs here since 2007 and the staff has always be friendly and the veterinarians knowledgeable and compassionate.

Lovely staff that works with you if your pet has an issue that needs to be addressed. They are on the pricey side but definitely worth it for your fur baby!

Very good service, the vet takes the time to explain and talk about Jacks needs. Very happy with their work so far. Dr Van den Berg is the best Jack loves her.

We've been going to this clinic for over three years. The staff is excellent and very knowledgeable. They are great with my terrified of all things medical dog. We've also used them for boarding and they've always taken great care of our dog. I highly recommend them.

For the last 11 years of his life, we took Rocco to Cherrydale Veterinary Clinic in Arlington and found them to be responsive, caring to Rocco and understanding of our needs as well. Anytime Rocco needed anything outside of the routine checkups and shots they walked us through ALL of the options, not just what they could provide. The vets and vet techs truly wanted the best care for Rocco and the best experience for us. Additionally, They were very thoughtful and kind throughout his end of life care and very considerate towards our needs and timing.

We LOVE Dr. Van Der Berg! Our two doggos have seen a handful of vets and none were so thorough. The office has great hours and I can usually get in within a day or two if it's necessary. Would highly recommend.

After being a customer for over 8 years, they wanted to charge me an EXTRA $250 to see a puppy who had a BROKEN LEG!! - just because they were “busy”. AVOID THEIR PRICE GOUGING AND LACK OF COMPASSION!!

Great caring vets who pay attention to detail. The staff is also very caring, accommodating, and competent. They are a bit expensive though. So you will need to think whether you need to take your pet there or if you can address the problem yourself. Like any business they are in the business of selling, so you need to do your research to check what is medically necessary and what is desirable stuff that you do not need to do if you do not have the budget for it. Some of what they offer is for your convenience not necessity and that is your choice of course. The final thing I would add is that they are good with follow-up. If there is something they are unsure of they would tell you and get back to you. That level of Integrity is important for me to trust a vet. And that is true even when a different vet than your usual one sees your pet. That is, they seem to be well coordinated and run their practice well.

Caring doctors and staff doing good work to help your pets, and provide treatment options that are best for you and your furry family. Always a good experience there.

It was pretty bad. My dog was sick and throwing up for 2 days. We brought him in and they took xrays and they found absolutely no blockage. So they gave him a fluid shot in the shoulder area for dehydration and another shot of Cerinia for nausea. I took him home and nothing changed so I called them the following day and they told me to give it another 24hrs and when their person who does the ultrasounds come in they'd do that. Well mind you this cost $1000 for basically nothing. I took him to Hope Animal Hospital in Vienna and got Cherrydale to send his xrays over. The radiologist over there looked at the same xrays and told us there were definitely 2 blockages and he needed surgery immediately! They pulled 3 litres of bile off his stomach and if we would've waited another 24hrs this whole situation could've been a lot different! It makes me furious that they didn't see anything. So anyway Hope performed the surgery immediately and it all came out fine. But they said they thought he was definitely in lots of pain. So they also put him on pain meds as well. Cherrydale never even offered that when I told them he was clearly not feeling well. Anyway it was a bad experience

Over priced for all services compared to the area. Not any better quality.

The staff is very helpful, kind and loves your pet. You can feel how much they love their job by how much love they show to your pet each time you come. For the time you pet is with them, they treat your pet as if it were their own. Great facility with complimentary nail trimmings with each visit

Our cat, Cowboy, was a patient here for 15 years. The staff has always been kind and empathetic in the most troubling of times. We recently lost our little guy and I can’t say enough about the care that went into trying to prolong his life. When it came time to put him down, the process was made easier by the sympathetic manner in which it was handled. Everyone from the vets, to the front desk and the techs were so great with our departed friend. Thank you CVC for 15 great years.

Big thumbs up! They've adapted their intake process beautifully to accommodate COVID-19 restrictions, & they took excellent care of my sick cat. Dr. Meko is fantastic! Highly recommend.

I sent both my dogs to Cherrydale Vet, the staff is some of the most Compassionate, friendly and knowledgeable people in the business. I highly recommend this Vet. All the doctors are great, and I never had a bad experience even when my girl had her last visit :(, the staff was so great and caring. Thank you

I've been bringing my pets here for 25 years. The staff is kind and professional. The doctors will answer any questions you may have and they treat your pet as if they are part of their family too. I've had pets that have gone from being a few months old and getting their first shots to seniors who were guided to a humane death. All were treated with sensitivity and respect.

THE BEST. Dr House is amazing. We’ve had some really frightening health scares with our dog and she goes above and beyond with great bedside manner. For example she’ll use a special pharmacy to get medicine in slurry form and save you hundreds by not getting pills (the easy route). She understands vet care is expensive and teaches you things like that to make sure your pet gets top care while keeping costs down. She is very thorough and treats our dog like a prince.

There are some good doctors at the Cherrydale. At some point you will need support from outside your vet, from their techs and/or other doctors and this is when Cherrydale falls apart. We have had several misdiagnoses at Cherrydale and 50% of time they will say we need to see him again. Several years ago, they were one of the best around. Now they are overextended are VERY VERY expensive for the care given and will nickel and dime you for every little thing. They love to have your credit card on file. The good news is, now there are several excellent other vets in the Arlington area with much cheaper rates (and better reviews). I would recommend doing your research and disregard reviews of the doctors and focus more on the how the practice is run. You may also want to look on Yelp and look at reviews that were edited. It generally takes a lot of abuse for those people to leave their vet and change their review – ask me how I know.

Highly recommend them. They were very accommodating after a schedule hiccup and ensured our pet was seen promptly by them for a regular exam / digestive issue. The Doctor took good care of our cat and was very thorough in her explanations and diagnostic. She answered all of our follow-up questions with immediate resolve, which left us feeling very confident! Our cat feels as great as ever so I have nothing but good things to say about this Clinic.

I’ve been a client for years and recently had to put down the love of my life. Cherrydale as a whole was really wonderful and supportive. During that painful transition I got really attached to Dr. Catbagan she really understands the emotional component that goes with pet ownership which is extremely important to me. I just welcomed a new puppy into my home and i will have Dr. Catbagan with her for life

I requested blood work for my dog that’s on carprofen, an anti inflammatory, to make sure he has no liver or kidney damage. When I got to Cherrydale the assistant vet spent 10 minutes upselling me (heart wormcheck, heart worm med, boardatela vaccine, senior dog exam, etc.) and never asked one question about why I made the appt. Finally, the vet takes the blood sample and then charges me $300! I was kind of stuck so I paid. I called another vet down the street and found out that they charge $45 for blood test I needed. I got a full refund from Cherrydale but felt like I’d been victimized. Buyer beware.
