I love this clinic, the staff is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything from the steps their going to take to provide the care down to the medication. I had called with an urgent matter just minutes before they closed surprised that they were able to get my dog in for the next morning, definitely recommend this veterinarian clinic.

I used to take my pets to Palmers for years and was very happy. But in the last couple of years I have been stunned by the lack of quality care. I have three pets and each and many of their problems it took at least three visits to resolve. Glen Palmer was super dismissive when my dog had a tooth infection, acting like it was in my head after he looked at her for 2 minutes! She ended up needing surgery after three visits and enduring a lot of discomfort because I was not taken seriously. I just think it is time for him to retire. They spend a ton of time trying to sell you stuff but literally my last appointment the vet looked at my dog for 5 minutes. My cat had an eye infection that required 3 visits! After the third one they told me she was just gonna have to live with it cause it was viral. When I called back to see what I could do for her discomfort they gave me another eye ointment which worked! All those months of her suffering because they said it was viral. That was two different vets, they just dont care. That was when I was done. I always had love for Palmers but I love my pets more and their poor quality care makes them suffer because they dont take the time to really look at your pet. It feels kinda gross, they seem like they care more about money than your pets. I know they are a business and should make money but it has just changed drastically, feels like straight greed. They have forgotten about the animals. That being said the office staff and the office manager are extraordinary and I thank them for everything.

My cat had a abscess in his paw and it was hurting him. Brought him to another vets office and they just gave him meds that didn't work. Went to palmers and they did not joke around like the others. They got my baby right meds and pain meds and he was all better within a week he could step back on his paw. Great people there! I've brought my dog to be neutered and my cats for there checkups. Great vet.

I called about my goat that was sick. They turned me away. They said they're too busy. I said you're kidding, right? You're not really just gonna say, "Sorry about your luck" and leave me to fend for myself or watch this animal die, right? Yap, that's what they did. Refused to help. We live in a sick world. People used to rush out in the middle of the night when someone needed help. Now they just laugh at you and say tough luck. I don't know how they live with themselves.

My kitty was sick and I was able to get an appointment quickly. I will now be switching to Palmer i was so satisfied with our appt. Dr. Palmer explained everything so easily and made suggestions for her treatment. I left there feeling she was in excellent hands. I am very happy with our decision to move our babies over to Palmer Vet. ????????

As usual, all my concerns about my pet's health were addressed. All the staff is friendly and helpful. The vet took the time to explain everything and provide a good plan of treatment moving forward.

Palmer Veterinary Clinic has been looking after our animals for a number of years and I cannot speak highly enough of the practice. Although most of the time we see the staff during our farm visits, when we do visit the clinic, everyone is helpful and professional. Our collection of animals - dogs, cats, rabbits, goats, horses and ponies all benefit from the excellent care provided in both routine and emergency situations.

I am a long-time patient. I just got a new puppy and brought it in for a check up and updated vaccinations. My puppy received a DHPP shot with a booster scheduled in 28 days. When I checked out the receptionist scheduled an appointment for two weeks from the date I was there (Nov. 27). When I pointed this out she insisted that the booster be given in 2 to 3 weeks. I didn't make an issue of it at that time. When I got home I read the invoice stating that my pup is due for the DHPP Booster 12/25/21, which is 28 days from Nov. 27th. I will be calling to reschedule that appointment to avoid an overdose.

Great people and great service quick in and out will be my permanent vet.

My pet was really sick and no other place would answer or have a vet available for her. Palmer Clinic understood my worry and welcomed my pet. The assistants were very nice and respectful as well as the doctor that carefully checked . Will forever be grateful for their help.

I needed my Annie to be checked for ticks since my dog groomer found one.....plus she needed her rabies shot.....Palmer's got me in the next morning with Dr Karen....she did a great job and put my mind at ease about ticks!!!! I've always received excellent service at Palmer's!!

I am not from Plattsburgh and when I discovered that my young male goat needed surgery and that it could not be accomplished in my local region the people at Palmer Veterinary Clinic agree to still help me. They were polite, attentive and took good care of my little fellow.
