The front staff is the best part about this vet clinic: super kind and friendly. However, my last few visits with the vet and the technician had failed to meet my expectations. They fail to note important information and I came back to the vet for a checkup with more issues when I had expected it to be better. Additionally, the technicians are a varying group of people here as some are very helpful whereas others are short and don’t let you finish your sentence (or also fail to inform you about important information). My cat has to go through more treatment than necessary and I had to spend more money here due to their lack of thoroughness. UPDATE: Upon reading their reply, I suppose they want an anecdote to prove that I really went to this clinic and dismiss my bad review. I decided to take my cat to this clinic to treat her ear infection after reading the positive reviews. I went three times since December. I met up with Dr. Baum and the technician and the first visit was fine. The second visit was a checkup and I met up with Dr. Baum again. She gave an ear cleaning solution for BOTH ears (even the one not infected) and failed to inform me that I should be cleaning the nozzle after usage on the infected ear (I did not know of this until I had asked one of the technicians about it yesterday). The next checkup I found that now BOTH of her ears are infected. Additionally, after the second visit they told me to schedule for a checkup so I did with the technician. The technician did NOT tell me that my next appointment would be with another doctor until I came the DAY OF. Also the technician who helped me that day cut me off when I tried to explain the type of ear treatment my cat was prescribed.

we had been out of town with our son in the hospital we got home and our haze babe was so sick he had a tumor or cyst rupture and we had to rush him in and have him put down the staff was really good to us. they gave us time to be with him before and after. it was a very horrible time for us as we had come home for a funeral and found him like this and had to take him in. thank you west vet.

THEY GOT ME IN OK AND HELPED ME THEY LOOKED AT MY CAT AND SAID THAT THERE WAS AN EAR ISSUE AND GAVE ME A PRESCRIPTION. TO GIVE THE CAT DROPS, BUT DID NOT HELP ME AT ALL WITH CLEANING HER EARS, I AM DISABELED AND ONLY HAVE USE OF ONE HAND. AND THEY COULD SEE THIS AND STILL DID NOT HELP ME CLEAN RHE CATS EARS WHILE I WAS IN THE ROOM, YET I PAID A JUST UNDER 300 DOLLARS FOR THE VISIT, I DID NOT ASK THEM TO CLEAN HER EARS, SHOULD I HAVE TO??

I took my dog Luna in for a cut on her leg snd thought inwas going to an emergency vet, but it wasn't. The staff was very friendly and understanding about the situation and was able to give me meds and ointment for her cut. I'm so thankful for the staff, I was so scared. Luna loved the peanut butter the vet tech gave her at the end. I will definitely be coming back.

We took our two dogs in for their annual shots and a pre dental checkup. After checking both dogs teeth, he told us not to even do a teeth cleaning. He said he didn't like to put the animals through unneeded stress if he didn't have to. They really care for your pet!

I love Dr Tom. He cares about not only the 4 legged patients but explaining the situation to the parents. I'm glad I found them.

Don’t taken them seriously when they say you can get your pet in for a “same day sick” appointment if you call right when they open. 2 days in a row we called right when they open, the first day I called at 8:05 and they immediately put me on hold for 11 minutes and then the phone finally rang and it went to voicemail. Then when I called back, they said they have no appointments available and to call back again tomorrow and they should be able to get me in. The second day, we called at 8am on the exact dot, my husband told them how sick our dog is and they said they don’t have any appointments. Really? We called the second they opened! Such a joke. I thought we had finally found somewhere to take our dog to and it just ended up delaying us getting him care.

They're always very kind. But the last few appointments have been very touch and go for me. A year ago I brought my older but healthy cat in for a checkup, waited in my car, got the call that he was all well and good and they were going to bring him out, I pay the 120 buck fee and wait. I wait 30 minutes and nothing. Finally I get a call that my cat is suddenly showing signs of kindey failure and they need to hold him and do some extra tests. Kidney failure?! He seemed fine! Of course I agree and let them do what they need to do. So I'm sitting and sobbing in my car because I'm convinced I'm going to lose him soon. They do some tests, give him a B12 injection, and then tell me he's actually perfectly fine. Turns out he was just drooling and vomited. My 10 year old strictly indoor house cat, who only has half his teeth, was drooling and vomited because he was SCARED. So I wipe my tears, pay another 600 dollar bill, and take him home. It was nearly 800 dollars in total that I did not have. I also brought in my dog earlier this year for her vaccines, she's a young shih tzu, she has a tiny nose I know its hard for them to breathe as is, but she's been reverse sneezing and choking much more often lately, her gums continously turn a bluish hue, and I can't even take her on walks anymore because she can't make it further than a few hundred feet. I asked if there was a chance she also had brachycephalic syndrome. They told me no, its normal for dogs like her to reverse sneeze, and refused to investigate it any further. After the shots, she appearently wasnt feeling well. They withheld her and charged me another 120 dollars just to give her benedryl. I think the staff is very nice and I've been going to them for a while. But the last few appointments were so insane, both emotionally and financially. I'm thinking of going elsewhere from now on.

They took my pup in quickly with an urgent ear infection, were calm and comforting to him while he was stressed, and checked in with us frequently while he was being treated. We never felt rushed or like we added a big burden to their caseload. We will definitely go back there again.

By appoinment only my dog was dying of parvovirus I took him to another clinic and they gave him a shot and bought the treatment. Thanks to God and a little hard work he made it.

Got a 100K mile check up on my terrier. They were kind, polite, and informative. Not the cheapest vet I've been to but not the most expensive either.

I rated this 5 stars but I'm changing it to 0-1 star for how rude the receptionist was. I tried making payment arrangements and she said nearly $500 needs to be paid today or by end of the month when I had said I could make payments for 5 months or pay it all by then!

I have NEVER had a vet give such a thorough exam to my 2 doggos before. He checked every inch of them, and told me what things were normal, good, etc. The price was great too! I would definitely recommend this vet!

They were professional, they cared and they took GREAT care as well as were concerned about my pet. After having pets for 40 years and my last baby was with me for 15 years, I believe I know what I'm talking about. The last Vet I went to developed a lack of concern for the pet and us and more about MONEY. They are part of a Western State Chain pet HMO and well, that should tell the story. This Clinic is "defiantly" more about us and the pet as WELL as more economical which in these days and times, you have to be more careful of. I'd recommend them to anyone as would my little pure breed 37 lb Keeshond!!!!!!!!

I took my 11 year old chihuahua in because she was experiencing some discomfort when being picked up, they informed me she needed some teeth extracted which I had done, she’s still experiencing the same discomfort, I’m not sure if they ever found the real reason for her discomfort
