This place has friendly employees who will help. I appreciate that they care for their birds; you can tell that they have bonded with the young birds.

We have been big supporters of Traci's parrots since we first walked in there in 2020 to buy supplies for our rescue bird. With the passing of our first bird we decided to purchase another from Traci's and with the help of their staff we picked the sweetest African Red Bellied Parrot. Every time we went into the store the staff was incredibly helpful-- We mostly worked with Kayli and Kelsi both answered all of our questions before and after we brought our bird home. Traci's staff makes it easy to purchase what you need for your sweet feathered friend. They take incredible care of the birds there and it is so much fun to go in and see them. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this place and their employees.

I bought my bird from her home when she didn’t quite have a business and he 4 years old and we go to Traci’s for his grooming and she does an absolutely amazing job!

Due to a lack of planning with the floor plan of this building and lack of genuine care from the employees my tiel got away from the groomers and was able to fly out of their “back room” and smacked into their window. He is currently in emergency care at the vet. The rooms in this building have no sort of ceiling. It is simply partitioning walls. After my bird hit their glass front wall the cashier ran to grab him but then purposefully got in between me and my bird keeping me from grabbing my bloodied and scared bird. Go here if you want but our vet recognized the name and advised us to not go to this establishment.

Me and my family walked in and I instantly fell in love. There where rescues which looked so adorable and the staff was so helpful with any questions I had to ask. The birds where al beautiful. The prices where high but I wouldn’t expect any less for the beautiful hand trained birds. When I walked in I was drawn to all the colorful conures they had to offer. I did not make a purchase but definitely made room to make one in a few months. I loved the play stands with the trees and the large birds, macaws, cockatoos, Amazon’s, etc. Such a beautiful selection of birds. I definitely can tell that if I were to have bought a bird it would have loved me every second. And with the large selection of toys perches and beautiful cages I fell in love. Thank you traci and the staff for making such a warm loving environment for me and your customers. I will be back very soon. I also loved that they would let me hold and cuddle with the birds such loving and snuggly friends. Keep up the great service Utah really needs more places like these. I 100000 percent recommended to anyone who is an avian lover.

Was able to get a healthy baby cockatiel through these guys, she is a joy to have, is hand raised and very sweet! The employees were very helpful with answering any concerns or questions I had about her care and were always very helpful whenever I went to visit the birds while waiting for my tiel to be weaned. I would recommend buying a bird from them if you're looking for a nice little feathered friend to add to your family!

I got the sweetest little sun-cheek conure from Traci’s about 2 weeks ago. The store is clean and fun and full of beautiful birds. The staff is all very knowledgeable and I ended up getting a different bird than I went in for due to their recommendations. Traci was there and SO helpful and you can tell that she truly cares about all the birds and about making sure their new families are equipped to give them the best life possible. If you’re looking for cheap, don’t go here. But you pay for what you get, and I’d rather my bird be hand-raised by the staff here than by some random person on KSL ???? I would recommend Traci’s for anyone looking for a new bird baby! Great experience.

They are so professional and when I came in they said “hi gabi”and it made her feel happy

I can tell they really care about their birds and do the best to make sure that they are healthy and happy and go to good homes, but the biggest thing that bothers me is that they clip their birds wings their excuse was so the birds don’t fly into things but that’s why you sell to someone who should train them to be able to fly the home. There are so many risks and unnecessary pain. And putting a bird through that just because someone is too lazy to train the bird. If they’re worried about that then they should know who not to sell the birds to. My birds wings aren’t clipped and because I wasn’t lazy and I trained him he had never once gotten injured or ran into things. If someone doesn’t want to deal with a flying animal don’t buy an animal that’s meant to fly.I feel they’d be perfect if they knew that they should never clip a birds wings and there is nothing anyone can say that’ll make me think that clipping is good.

This is the place to go, whether you're looking for food, toys or to buy a hand fed bird, I wouldn't go anywhere else! All the staff are so knowledgeable! We've bought several birds from them and will always buy from them.

We got a Blue Mountain Lorikeet from here a little over 1 year ago. We come back for food and occasionally pick up some toys while we're there. They have a large selection and are constantly updating their baby wall with cool new birds. Birds are a ton of work and right now our bird can spend some time being a pill, but if you want to get a parrot, there is no better place than here. Traci and George are insanely knowledgeable! And send you home with a very well behaved bird!

Could not buy a budgie without a cage. WHAT IS THIS! The budgies are majorly over priced. I would pay 50 dollars for hand feed bird, not 200! Have to use hand sanitizer to hold birds, which is reasonable in times of covid-19, but I don't think it's good for the birds. I can't say how the birds' sanity was after being adopted because I went to Pet Planet because it was too over priced.

Traci is a bird flipper and only has interest in making money off these poor birds, NOT HELPING THEM. DON'T BUY FROM HER! Anybody paying attention to what is known in the bird community about Traci knows this to be true. Traci started out flipping birds off KSL classifieds, she would talk people into surrendering their birds to "rehabilitate" them, but would resell them within a few days. She quickly discovered that she could make more money on breeding them, so she started breeding them and still takes in birds under the impression that they will be rehabilitated. DON'T BUY FROM HER!

It was clean and staff appeared to be knowledgeable. My mother purchased a yellow budgie parrot.she fell in love with the bird. A week after she called telling them the bird was not drinking. They said " are you just not seeing when she does?" Her response was " I'm retired I spend all day with her." To which they responded maybe you're just not seeing it drink. Two weeks later the bird collapsed.she called and they said sometimes when they dream they fall and can be hurt internally or a brain injury. The bird died in my mother's hands.. She's heartbroken and they didn't tell her it could die from dehydration and to do certain things to make it drink.. We are all great broken for my mother
