Very nice staff. My dog hurt his back and they were the only place I could find that could get me in next day. Dropped him off in the morning when they opened and he was ready for pick up at 10. The Dr was short and to the point, but I understand he's a busy guy. My dog is feeling much better.

I had taken my two cats here shortly after getting my second one for vaccines. I had mentioned to the vet that my oldest cat had behavioral issues around the newer one which is to be expected. The vet didn't seem to really care about what I had to say and my concerns. He had briefly suggested to me that if my oldest cats behavior didn't change I could come back and get calming medication for him. I told the Vet I would exhaust my other options i.e. CBD, camling collars, etc. Before getting a prescription. A few months passed and my other options were not working so I called in to get an appointment for my oldest cat. The receptionist was kind and told me she would ask the vet what to do. Again, I was coming back upon suggestion from the same vet. She came back and told me to just get rid of one of my cats, that it'll just be easier that way and there was no possible way for them to get along at this point. I had told her the vet mentioned calming medication I could put my cat on and she said it wasn't effective enough. Then why did the vet even mention it in the first place? I hadn't even had a chance to explain the situation before they said over the phone it couldn't be helped and I should just get rid of one of them. I was very upset after the call abruptly ended. I care deeply for my animals, and will do anything before I give them back to the shelter, but the entire interaction made me feel like I was a bad pet owner for not giving one up for a few behavioral problems. The main, or only vet, doesn't seem to care about your concerns or really about the animals themselves. To say it's easier to just get rid of your animal then to work with them just seems lazy to me. Not a very good practice and if you see this before they delete this review please find another place for your animal.

After the 10-minute visit, they charged me $90 and insisted I purchase eye drops for $40. The exact drops can be purchased for $12.99 online. The office will nickel-and-dime you by taking advantage of your concern for your furry friend. Veterinarian was condescending and did not listen to concerns; he assumed the problem was the opposite of what I had described. I asked him to look into “the eye on the left” and he was hung up on the fact I didn’t say “my animal’s right eye,” like a man of the theatre who was butt-hurt I didn’t use the term “stage-left.” I appreciate they saw me so quickly and the front desk staff was kind. Likely this review won’t stay up long, but if you get the chance to see if before they pay Google AdSense to remove it, I highly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

My dogs are patients at Banfield in SLC. I pay $140 a month for the wellness plan. When my 11 month heeler became sick to her stomach with intestinal problems quite suddenly several nights ago, I was on the phone with Banfield as soon as they opened the next morning. They couldn't fit her in, and I was told to call the other area Banfields. No, no, no, no from all of them. I was on the cancellation list with all of them. My Banfield location made an appointment for her 10 days out! Absolutely no consideration for a sick patient nor a consult over the phone with a vet. You cannot get past the front desk! I called Pet Shop and the kindest women I talked to all day set an appointment up for her the very next morning! I felt so relieved after bringing her in and our vet was outstanding and caring. She wasn't as ill as I had been dreading, and was sent home with medications, and I was finally relieved! As very soon as I can get out of the contracts I have with Banfield, Pet Shop Veterinary Clinic will be my new clinic! I highly recommend them, and they have a great plan there too!

They had great reception, good service and they did a good checkup on my bun, and they were able to answer all my questions and they were able to diagnose and tell us what to watch out for. I absolutely reccomend them

We really love Petstop. Their insurance plan has been great for maintenance and unexpected needs. We recently had two pets come up sick at the same time and they fit both in together really quick. They are fast and efficient and can be brisk, so be ready with your questions, but they take amazing care of our friends. We also had to put down a beloved cat last year, and they were so kind and respectful through the process, and sent a kind card after. Very grateful for this level of care and skill in our west side neighborhood.

One of their vet techs must not have known that pharmacies do not sell over the counter triple antibiotics cream that's not Neosporin. I got it and used it for my cat's wound. Now it might be infected. Terrible terrible call.

I really like Dr. Bellman. My fury baby was diagnosed with mammary tumors and he was very good about being upfront about her diagnosis and explaining my options as far as treatment. His prices were reasonable and has pet health packages you can purchase - whiched saved me even more money on my fury baby's treatments. He staff is very professional and friendly. He was recommended to me and very l happy he was.

I took my male guinea pig in to be neutered. The Dr actually answered the phone and asked appropriate questions regarding breeding and my reason for neutering him. My little fellow came home and he was not lethargic or slow to move, he was ready to go. I have had no problems with his incision site and would recommend this veterinarian, he also came out to my car and answered all questions. His staff was also extremely friendly and very supportive of their work environment. I would definitely go to him again for my guinea pig needs

What started out as a routine dental quickly turned into something that was more emergent. While I understand that things come up during routine cleanings; The communication itself lacked between the doctor, front desk staff and then to us as clients. When I called to get more info; The front desk staff would need to go back and forth to get answers because the doctor wasn't able to talk. Given that the procedure was more emergent, I should have talked with the doctor from the start. When I did ask questions to the receptionist; All of a sudden the phone started beeping and then the doctor got on. Then when I would try and talk, the doctor would cut me off. I am grateful that my cat is okay and that they did take care of her for this issue. But this vet REALLY needs to work on the communication between himself with clients and within his office staff. When a client finds out their beloved pet may have a life threatening disease they will be frazzled and panicked. Bedside manner is a MUST in this field....I of all people would know since that is the very reason I left this field was because of the heartache. If you want a vet who will work with you price wise then this is a good vet to go to. But this is not a vet who listens very well and has a calm demeanor...If I could give them 2.5 I would.

We adopted an extremely shy dog one week ago and she needed some vaccinations updated. Because of her separation anxiety, we did not think that it would have been good for her mental state to be handed off to a complete stranger so soon after being adopted. Pet Stop was willing to accommodate by meeting us outside of their facility (due to CoVID not letting any human clients enter their building) and giving her the required vaccinations there. The technician and vet were incredibly friendly to us and our dog. I appreciate how willing they were to accommodate to us and how seamless the process with them was. Thank you!

I appreciate the fact the vet was willing to change my time for a time slot earlier in the week. However, every ither experience was downright horrible. They take your pet and leave you out in your car due to corona protocol. He came out and asked us how old the cat was after we told him she was a rescue. Isn't he the professional that should evaluate the age? We felt rushed the entire time. He also presisted she get all the vaccines when we only wanted to do the rabbies. I dont usually leave less than 5 star reviews, but I felt prompted to do so here.

These guys are great. They’ve taken care of many of our animals and are as compassionate as you would expect when you need to make the decision to end the life of a pet.
