Mountain Vales staff is very nice and companionate. They treated me very kindly during an emergency situation with my hamster. Thank you for being so nice and understanding during the passing of my hamster.

The Doctor and staff are professional and listen to our concerns for our family dog. The gave me options for her care and gave friendly advice. Their pricing is more than fair. I truly fill that I have found the right people to help me with the life time care for our dog.

The high star rating was when Dr. Wilde owned Mountainvale Veterinary. Let me ask you readers a question? How long do you think it would take to trim a four month cat claws? 10 minutes tops! They didn't have 10 minutes Saturday to trim our cats claws. The 1 star rating I gave them today was because of just answering the phone. Ever since Dr. Wilde sold his successful clinic. In my opinion there service is plummeting fast and with there attitudes it's just a matter of time before they lose all of their patients and go out of business because they just don't care anymore, and it shows. They better figure it out fast who keeps them in business. Service is what people want, or say goodbye. We're looking for another Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Wilde was so personalize. I miss him.

I've brought two of my three cats here (I'll be sending the 3rd soon for her check-up). One of my kitties, unfortunately, we had to put down because of FIP. Mountain Vale was able to fit us in quickly and were so kind and respectful during the whole process. Thanks for taking care of our precious kitties.

This is my dogs vet and was just picking up a prescription for her. I like Mountain Vale very much. They have always been good with my dog's and are very understanding.

I love love love the care that my 2 "Queens" receive at Mountain Vale.. My Freya is going on 11 next month. A senior citizen for a Great Dane. Dr. Wilde has been her Dr. since she is 8 weeks old.. And now we have Gracie. A little poodle/Schnauzer mix (we think).. I trust she will receive the same awesome care that Freya has.. Kudos to Mountain Vale. I will recommend their Clinic to anyone...

They were great I had to wait in the car and they brought our lemondrop inside while we waited to keep her comfortable and less stressed. Thank you!

Appreciated staff helping me with Dottie. I liked the Doctor he was very kind and spent time explaining her issues with me a few times. Came up with a plan. She doesn't seem different to me but it's just been a week . Will get ultrasound next week, hopefully it will tell us more. I worry she is suffering, we are just taking it one day at a time. She's a sweetheart and I want to take care of her. Thank you

1 star because techs and front employees were always very friendly. However, they need more than one vet for exotics. I took my bird here because his beak was beginning to over grow. I had to wait a week to get in. When he was brought back out to me after getting his beak trimmed the vet told me to change some things about his diet to get him to eat and help him gain the nutrients to not get an overgrown beak. I did. It didn’t work. Beak had started to over grow again so I called to make an appt for another trim. I had to wait 3 weeks, so obviously by then it was overgrown to the point of being uncomfortable and had actually broken off that morning. Vet once again said to do what he had initially said, even though I had told him it wasn’t working. My bird was eating way less than normal. This last time, and why I’m leaving a review, is because I called to make an appt to get his beak trimmed once again, and wayyy before it was to the extent as prior since I knew there’d be a wait. The wait this time was almost a month. They called me a few days before to reschedule because they had messed up. I had to have a family member bring him in because I had to work. Upon bringing my bird back to the car, the vet told my family member that what I was doing “was animal abuse and he is losing weight because she’s waiting too long to get this taken care of.” A. If I’m inflicting animal abuse then y’all are inflicting it with me. A beak trim on a cockatiel takes all of 20 minutes, max. I shouldn’t have to wait 3-4 weeks to get it done. If I’m calling to get a beak trim, then there’s most likely a reason I’m calling to get it done and it should probably be taken care of asap. B. The fact that the vet had the AUDACITY to accuse me of animal abuse when I have purely been following his instructions, despite me telling him it’s not working, with obviously zero positive results because again, my bird was then eating even less after following said instructions, blows my mind. C. Once again, I shouldn’t have to wait 3 weeks. Y’all are abusing animals just as much as I supposedly am if that’s how long I’m having to wait to get a beak trim, and not listening to me when I say what you’re telling me to do isn’t working. Figure it out. Sorry for the novel. Not sure how they are with other animals but as far as birds go, I won’t be returning and will no longer refer people.

I have only been to this veterinary clinic 2 times. But both times have been great experiences. They care about their little patients and their owners. Both vets that I spoke with explained everything thouorulghy and answered all my questions. Each vet technician has been overly helpful and kind to me and our little Lucy. They really made us feel cared for. I would highly recommend bringing your pets here. :)

What a wonderful place to take our 9 year old little dog. Doctor and techs were so nice, even though it’s COVID time and we had to wait outside in the car, the Doctor called twice. I felt very comfortable with their care.

I took my best friend whom I take extreme care in all she does, has to do and those I trust to do loving job. So she's been having ear trouble and the vet I normally use did not have any openings for over a week. I took her here, told them I was disabled and only had $170.00 of which I thought was plenty. Even when she was a puppy and was diagnosed with parvo had blood test etc. it wasn't that much. Upon them bringing her to my car they told me she simply had allergies but wanted her to try this dog food out as her diet isn't the best, but then I got the sticker shock of my lifetime! $185.00. I reminded them that I only had $170.00 at which time she went back in and whittled away enough for me to pay $171.25. Totally in shock I counted enough change to get my dog out of there. There was no spa treatment or Refreshments given just pee and complaining about how my dog was scared and tried to bite them. I called them back to tell them that I thought this was an astronomical amount at which time I was offered a $40 credit for the food. I told her that I paid cash and I would expect cash back and she told me she would get with their accountants and let me know so in short or long, I paid almost $200 to be told my dog had allergies and she doesn't have allergies she has itchy floppy ear. Beware, approach with caution and get an estimate up front so you don't get the sticker shock of a lifetime be good to your dog!!
