Love this place! One of the few daycares that has sufficient space (in my opinion) for the dogs to run around. The employees are friendly and I love the flexibility of not having to book daycare days in advance.

This visit was the first visit and everything went well. It’s early for me to evaluate everything but I particularly liked the process of receiving the dogs and picking them up. Also, the no collar was a first and I was very impressed with the thinking.

Desert dog humans are great! They offer lots of helpful extras like baths, lunch breaks, and enrichment activities, plus they keep it cheerful with seasonal and holiday events. I love being able to check in on my pup with the video cams.

I absolutely love this place. I have tried almost everywhere in the salt lake valley. None of them compare. My dogs come home tired and happy. When I board them, I can leave their dog beds and blankets. I am never leaving pups anywhere else.

My vet referred me to this dog daycare and I was immediately impressed with everything about this business. “Bentley, the Scottie”, is my first dog and I was a little hesitant to take him anywhere. After the first day, I knew that he had found his second home. There are only two things that motivate my dog, treats and going to daycare. He knows when we are getting close to the daycare and starts hopping around like a bunny in the car because he’s so excited. The staff is more professional than I could ever know. They take such good care of him while he’s there, regardless of daycare or boarding status.

Always feel good letting my dog stay at Desert Dog. The first time or two she was nervous to be dropped off, but now she's excited to come back and I can tell she's had a good time playing with the other dogs. Really appreciate that Desert Dog is organized, responsive and proactive - thanks!!!

They are the best. Always very kind to my two dogs and also to my whole family and are always accommodating. My dogs come home happy and tired from having fun with their friends.

Absolutely love Desert Dog Daycare! My pups are treated so well. The place is always clean, well organized, and smells good! I love the pick up and drop off system, and of course the pup cams! Highly recommend!!

We LOVE Dessert Dog! Rudy, our 18 month old chocolate lab, loves going to “school” to play with his friends and get out some energy. Max, our 9 year old chocolate lab, likes going to hang out in the sun with the other old timers. Being able to watch our boys on the webcam during the day helps us feel at ease when they board as well. Thanks guys! You’re wonderful!

Millie LOVES coming here every week! The staff is always super friendly, the set up for drop off/pick up is super efficient and we love knowing we can check on her if needed through the cameras in our portal. So grateful we found a place we trust to take our pup!

My dog has been going here for years- both for daycare and boarding. He doesn’t need regular daycare anymore so now he just goes for boarding every few months but he is SO HAPPY every time we pull up. He loves it. The staff is great and truly cares about the dogs. I’ve recommended this place to everyone in need of daycare or boarding for their dog.

We love Desert Dog! Our 6-month old puppy, Bonnie, loves it too. All of the employees are always so sweet to her, and they seem to know all the dogs really well. We like the live camera to check in on her when we leave her for longer than the day, and she's always having a great time and is even comfortable enough to settle on her own! (which is impressive for her) The drop off/pick-up system is super easy and hassle-free. The grooming/nail clipping is also such a great perk. Can't imagine taking her anywhere else.

My wife and I take our Corgi, Maximus to daycare at Desert and they are fantastic. They're quick to take him back when we drop him off and they're quick to retrieve him when we pick him up. They take very good care of him during the day as well. He comes home and is exhausted from playing with all his friends all day. We definitely recommend this place!

The best place in SLC for your pup! They are so attentive and hire amazing staff that you just feel actually care for your pup when you have to leave it. Love this place!

We have an anxious dog who has never been to daycare. We decided to take her to Desert Dog first and foremast due to the excellent staff. Prior to taking my dog, I talked with members of the staff about my concerns. They were patient, understanding, and always kind as they encouraged me to bring my dog in. Our standard schnauzer has now been to daycare a number of times as well as been boarded at the daycare for a period of three days and we have been exceedingly pleased! We have even found that she is more playful when we take her to a dog park and we know this has to do with the safety and comfort she has developed around other dogs while at the daycare. Thank you to the staff for understanding our needs, and for taking excellent care of our pup!

I trust Pepper will be taken care of here more than any other place in SLC. They are amazing and do a great job. I won't go anywhere else.

We wanted our young dog to have some socializing and less time home alone as we returned to work and after losing our older dog. The owner of the daycare was quick to respond, set an appt for an “interview”, and answer my questions. The online platform is easy to purchase passes and upload vaccination records. Pete comes home happy and tired. I check to see what he is up to on the webcams. Dogs appear happy, busy, and not too rough with each other. Glad we found Desert Dog!

My dog always gets so excited when she hears the word daycare, all thanks to Desert Dog! She loves it there, and so do I! They do a great job! I also love being able to watch my pup playing on the dogcam while I am away!

They are the best pup daycare ever. I am so lucky to have found them!! Nola (my pup) is very timid and shy, so new places and people make her nervous. But she know whenever I’m going to drop her off and she gets so excited to go play with her friends!! The staff are honestly incredible. It’s hard to feel comfortable leaving your dog in someone else’s care without being worried or stressed. But I know Nola is getting the best care ever when she’s there. I am seriously so grateful for y’all!! Thank you for everything y’all do :)

We’ve been taking our large breed puppy here for the past 10 months and he LOVES it!! We have used both daycare services and overnight kenneling when we go out of town. They KNOW dogs! All dogs have to pass a temperament test and it’s worth it! He’s never had an incident with any other dog. He LOVES to come here and play with all the other dogs all day. There’s an indoor and outdoor area. The dogs just freely roam back-and-forth. We can check him out on the doggie cam. The staff is amazing and we’ll trained. They can tell when he needs a break or some quiet time. We can have him bathed and groomed before we pick him up. They have fun games and activities as well. When making kenneling requests, we always hear back within a day. They also send us pictures on longer stays. This is so much better than the other kennel we took him to originally. He could hear the other dogs but not actually socialize with them. It was boring and torturous. After his stay at Desert dog daycare, he will come home and sleep for a day or two. Yay???? We don’t have to feel guilty when we go on vacation because we know he is on vacation too!!

Best dog daycare (and longer care) in SLC!

My pup and I have been attached at the hip for a year and a half. I figured it was time to send him off to kindergarten. I was so nervous, but EVERYONE at Desert Dog made me feel comfortable. They even sent me photos. They certainly made Cooder comfortable, he coulda stayed there forever. So happy I found this place! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Love Desert Dog daycare. They have taken care of our dogs for over 10 years now and have had zero issues. Our dogs love them and we know they are well taken care of

The wonderful staff at Desert Dog has cared for my last three four-legged children. My dogs love going there and I can feel confident that they will be safe and happy. Before Covid, I traveled frequently, and staff always sent texts and photos so I could see how well they were doing. Being a medical professional, I am very impressed with how careful they are to ensure all the dogs are up to date with their shots. I can’t imagine leaving them anywhere else.

Took my 5 1/2 month old pup today for first time. Although, it was her first time we have taken 4 other dogs to Desert Dog Daycare over the years. She loved it. She was able to play with many different dogs. She loves being outside, playing with friends. Came home happy and tired. I’m sure she is looking forward to going again. The staff remembered our older dogs and sent us pictures of her current visit. She is definitely a Desert Dog!

Honestly cannot write any review that accurately describes my love & appreciation for everyone at Desert Dog. Having a “Covid puppy” who is extremely attached to myself & my fiancé made it very hard to find somewhere that loved & cares for our pup enough to make him feel comfortable. Not only is he comfortable he LOVES day care! If you tell him he’s going to “school” he is immediately bouncing off the walls excited. Every single person at DD knows our pup’s name and our name. They’re always excited and happy to help and our dog can’t even walk straight he wags his tail so hard all the way to the play area. There’s no one else I’d trust with our dog! If you’re on the fence about giving them a try, do it! You won’t regret it! Thanks for all you do, DD! Moose loves you!

My pup absolutely loves Desert Dog Daycare. They've got a great layout that allows indoor & outdoor space. The webcams help put your mind at ease & see how much fun your pup is having. Drop off & pick-up is a smooth process. The staff are amazing. The lobby is super clean & offer local pet chews & snacks. A+++ Keep up the great work!
