Care more about forcing a no longer existent mask mandate than actually getting the animals adopted. But seems like an otherwise nice place.

I hate leaving negative reviews on a non-profits like this, but I’ve had 2 negative experiences within the past 4 months. The volunteers have been extremely rude to me and my family. Very unwelcoming and unfriendly. So disappointed.

Fun place to check out a new puppy or just play with them.

You could not find a better Rescue. I saved 2 senior Chihuahuas, potty trained, loves cuddles, and they have became quite the talkers

Soo cute! I love how you can go in and put the animals. They were great. I wish I had room for a dog. The brown puppy was so cute.

The operation of this Rescue is indescribable. The love and kindness for their animals are fantastic !!!! They try and match you to your new fur baby, more for the animal's welfare. They paired me with Cisco and Maya. These are the sweetest old seniors, and I was so fortunate for this call. A big Thank You from Maya and Cisco! ????

I avoid writing bad reviews because I’ve worked in the service industry and know how that feels. However, I want to share my experience in case someone else finds themselves in my same shoes. My husband and I waited in line for a staggering 2 hours to even get inside. Due to the pandemic they only allow one group at a time. When we finally got in both of the employees were extremely rude, didn’t greet us, didn’t say one thing and acted very bothered that we would come in their store even though we had just waited for a full 2 hours. The animals are so sweet, and it’s a great thing they’re doing, but they need to figure out some sort of line management alternative because no other store has a longer wait than about 20 minutes at the mall right now, and beyond that they need to have people work there who enjoy their job and know how to provide even the most basic customer service. Hopefully it was just an off day for them and things would be better on a different day.

Never got to go here because I’ve called about 15 times over three days and nobody ever answered or called me back. No idea if this place ever actually has customers

First off - my one star review is based 100% on my experience at the adoption center on a day during Covid, not on their service to animals + the community. I visited Sunday 9/20, and arrived at noon when they opened. The woman working there said the dogs wouldn't be there for another half hour (they arrive from the rescue ranch), so we left and came back at 12:30. There were three groups in line ahead of us, and because of Covid restrictions only one family group could go in at a time. We got inside at around 1 PM, and the dogs were still not there. We looked at cats for awhile while the two employees brought in the dogs. Once the dogs were in, the employees were bustling around mopping and taking care of other things and they did not seem to care that we were even there. Eventually we asked to look at a cat, and one employee brought us all to a visiting room. We loved her and played with her for ten minutes, until the other employee came in and said she had already been adopted. So disappointing! I know Covid is creating unusual experiences at places that may usually run smoothly, but I just wanted to write this review in case you are also thinking of visiting during this time. The employees seemed unorganized and unable to take the time to explain how the process works, and you should be prepared for a significant wait if you come on a weekend day during the heightened restrictions. Again, this is not a reflection on the work Nuzzles does, they are a lovely organization that does so much good. I just wish my experience at the shelter had been less of a disappointment.

My mother wanted to look at a puppy they had and it was a great experience. They have a nice little set up there.

We found our family dog here who has been the greatest addition to the family. We also foster dogs for the weekend from Nuzzles.

The shelter is very clean. The animals appear to be very well cared for. We adopted a cat, and they provided us with information from a vet's inspection from when the shelter took in our cat. I think the adoption was $20, I think. Be sure to bring a box or crate when you pick up an animal. The shelter requires you to have one when you adopt.

This is a great place, I was able two adopt beautiful dogs. Nuzzle and co care about the animals that they have and let be adopted. 2 weeks after I received my 2 dogs they called to see how we are getting along. Nuzzle and co have cat as well. The adopt center is a beautiful place

I’m sure they do amazing service work but I can only review based on what I experienced. Unfortunately the adoption process is extremely confusing, the rep was not helpful, seemed bothered actually that I was even asking questions like I was wasting their time and wasn’t helpful. They don’t let you go in to see them on a first come first serve basis. We were looking for a dog and were told to apply online (didn’t want to do) so we could go down and see a few (so I thought) but we were sort of forced to be matched with only one, which I wanted to just make an appointment and go down there but they said all dogs were on hold and only the one we were “matched” with was available. Unfortunately COVID has really messed things up and it was just a confusing and frustrating process. We did not want to claim or pick just one before seeing multiple options. We went to different shelters where they do not hold dogs and found a great fit for us after seeing multiples to see which we were drawn to. Again I’m sure they do great work but it was not a good experience. They shouldn’t hold dogs from online. They should do first come first serve by appointments in person only. No online system. I just wouldn’t try adopting here or recommending it.

We stopped in during a visit to Kanab. What a unique shelter! This place is several acres and has a wide variety of critters up for adoption. Take a tour, it is well worth the time and donations. Go earlier so you can spend some time on the property.
