I own an elderly cat who is prone to sinus and upper respiratory infections. I was very surprised and appreciative when the vet and nurses here listened to me, rather than doubting or questioning like many other clinics I have been to. It was a quick, easy experience with friendly staff. Would %100 recommend

I love Bluegrass. Everyone is caring and knowledgeable and does what's best for your pet. They ask the right questions and do what it takes to get to the bottom of any issue. They're so great with my dog, and she feels truly loved when we go for appts

By far the best and most fair priced vet around. Dr Eddie is the best. We traveled up from taylorsville just to see him and it was worth the drive.

They're very nice people. They are only taken one person in with a pet at a time. And the vet had to come out himself and explain what was going on with my mother's cat. He was very happy to do so and a very nice man.

We have TOO MANY FURRY CHIDREN after our real children have left the nest and on their own in the big wide world. Dr. Dotty and his staff have been taking care of our furry family now FOREVER and hopefully even longer. We had to euthanise a stray which we had rescued and me, wife daughters cried while Dr Dotty took care of him and Dr Dotty cried with us. This shows someone with a GOOD KIND HEART which is a rare commodity now a days and hence Dr Dotty has our furry purry family business now and for the future. He knows our financial situation and is ALWAYS VERY REASONABLE IN the charges. YOU ROCK BLUEGRASS. And hey, not the least, I love his SOUTHERN ACCENT !!

Needed help with my newborn puppies and they are literally 30 seconds away from where I live so it would've been nice and convenient. But they said they aren't taking new customers.

If you need a vet for a sick animal or as I did to put my 15 year old dog down then this is the only place to go. The compassion from the entire staff and the way they answered all my questions was far and above anyone else. The cost was very reasonable and they did not push any services I couldn’t afford. I can’t express enough to go see these guys for all your vet needs. I will never forget them

I had to put my dog down that we had 15 years. Let me tell you what an exceptional group of caring people. We had never met yet they treated me like family. Their compassion and empathy for the situation was so appreciated. They took whatever time I needed and let me know options. They swaddled her in a baby blanket when it was over. Everyone should go here for all their animal needs. They were affordable and didn't try to push other options for me. I will forever be grateful for their treatment of Emma and my family. Based on some if the reviews Iam glad they refused my business. Get this due to COVID19. Really??? Receptionship was somewhat rude in her tone and acted like I was bothering her. Will never be back.

Out tiny toy poodle started going to this clinic at 10 weeks. The office is nice and clean. Staff is courteous. They are nice for routine vaccinations but not my favorite for anything else. She had kennel cough when we brought her home and it took 2 office visits, an X-ray and 2 different medications to fix it. (Pretty pricy and they were not upfront about the costs until after the visit.) I also had her scheduled to get her rabies vaccination and came to that appointment to be told she was doing good but needed to gain more weight and come back for another visit for the actual vaccination. (Double the costs-why not have me just wait longer instead of coming in when they knew she wouldn’t weigh enough at the first visit?) They take your pet to a different room for examination and vaccinations which I did not like. At 5 months old we called to inquire about getting her spayed. We were told that at 3.5 pounds she was too small for them to do it and she wound need to see a specialist. She also had a bout of throwing up around 6 months old and I tried to get her in but was told that they couldn’t see her that day and I would need to go to emergency. I always felt as if they didn’t want to help her because of her size, it felt like we were an inconvenience to them. At this point I called another vet (Antelope Animal Hospital) and they were able to get her in that day. The difference in the way they talk to and handle my dog is night and day. I realized at that point that Bluegrass could do much better. The new vet is quite a bit cheaper on office visits, they love my puppy and cuddle her, they do the exam and shots in the room, they are upfront and mindful of the costs, and treat her and me like she is the most important dog on the planet. The new vet has been able to solve her tummy issues and spay her. She was microchipped before we brought her home and I asked bluegrass how to register her under me and they could not help me. After she was spayed the new vet made sure to register her with Home Again and set it up for us to finish the profile-super easily. I don’t know why bluegrass couldn’t do that? I won’t be returning to a bluegrass even though they are 5 minutes away from my house. If you’re looking for a vet to do the routine vaccination then bluegrass is fine, but if you’re looking for a lifelong vet to care for all the needs of your pup then they are probably not for you. (Especially if you have a tiny dog.)

This is a fantastic vet. He caught my 7 year old cava-malts heart murmur that no other vet even noticed. Now hopefully with medication we will be able to keep our Misty around for many more years. Great staff super clean clinic. Can't say enough praise.
