It was very difficult finding a vet to see my dog due to COVID affecting so many vet clinics. Blue Pearl was extremely kind and so very helpful. Highly recommend.

The Derm. doctor, Dr. Layne has been a lifesaver. She took care of our pup and helped him when 3 other vets hadn't been able to. Not only that, but she took the time to explain things to us, gave us options and showed us that she truly cared about our puppy. We're SO grateful for her, and the amazing kind staff!

My dog was in an altercation with another dog and in need of emergency care. BluePearl staff were friendly, reassuring and got her in immediately due to her injuries. They treated her, myself and my kids like a family unit not making us …

They should have zero stars, ended up going somewhere else after waiting 6 hours and no one taking my animal to the back. Went to pet urgent care in orem and was in and out in an hour with a lot of people also there. They are obviously more efficient at their job and do not make you wait outrageous times.

They deserve no stars! On Christmas Eve my chocolate lab went in to respiratory distress from recently diagnosed LarPar (laryngeal paralysis). We needed an emergency animal hospital because our vet office was closed. We googled emergency vet clinics and BluePearl came up, so we called them. Their message said they were opened 24/7 and if we reached this message they were helping another caller and if it was an emergency to make way to their clinic, so we did. When we got there our dog was in severe distress and there was nobody there. WE BARELY MADE IT to another vet, we put our beautiful boy down about 5 minutes after arriving at the other facility. Their inability to disclose their their hours added about an hour of suffering to our boy’s plight . Can you imagine fighting for every breath as your airway was closing off? It was traumatizing to all of us, mostly to our beloved pet. Places like this should not be licensed or serving the public.

I have a 16 year old chocolate lab who we were making end of life care for that didn’t involve blue pearl but a home euthanasia. However overnight there was a rapid decline in my beloved pets well being & we took her to Blue Pearl at 630 AM to be euthanized. The staff, from the front desk clerk who checked us in, to the tech who explained the process to myself & my family (including my teenage son who’s dog this has been the majority of his life) were patient, kind, calm and supportive. There was no judgement & while it was expensive (as most emergency visits for animals or humans are) the care was superb. They have also treated my pitbull mix following an emergency and were wonderful there as well. They had a wonderful array of items to choose from as well as far as what to do with my pets remains which I greatly appreciated.

If I could give it a zero star I would! I took my cat into find out why he was throwing up all the time and blood was involved, they had us waiting for 2 hours to check him out and charged us almost $800. Just to tell us nothing is wrong with him. I then called another Vet and they told me over the phone what was wrong and I followed their instructions and he has not thrown up since. Don’t waist your time or money with BluePearl!

My pup had an accident which caused a bad eye injury. I called in a panic and the staff was able to reassure me that they could help us. When I called it was a 3 hour wait (I live an hour away) but they took my info and told me to head on in. Once I arrived they came to get him within 5 minute! 30 minutes later they let me know that he was comfortable with pain medication and numbing for his eye. Another 20 minutes later I had answers for what needed to happen and within 3 hours I was able to take him home after his surgery. I can’t thank the staff enough for taking care of my baby. He’s comfortable with the meds they provided and will still be so cute with his new one eye appearance! The bill was half the price that I expected as well!! Thank you!!

I have needed to go to this vet twice for emergency’s. Both times going there were horrendous, the vets didn’t care at all about my dogs and were rude to me. Your wait time is never going to be less than two hours, which I wanted to understand because it is an ER vet. But once they got into the room with me they gave me very little information, saw me and my dog for five minutes and then gave me no straight answer about what could be wrong. Both times they gave me bandaid solutions and I needed to wait for my normal vet to open on Monday. I also have needed to call them to ask what to do with my dog who had slipped and hurt her shoulder and the lady said “I don’t know. It’s going to be 200.00” I never mentioned anything about money what so ever, the money does not matter to me. I asked again what I should do and she repeated it’s going to be 200.00 and the HUNG UP. I can’t believe that they put so many people who don’t care about animals here. It’s disgusting.

My dog is dying and Blue Pearle has refused to give her IV antibiotics, unless she is admitted. I cannot afford the admission and the main thing that can save her life is IV antibiotics according to several vets. They are willing to have her die if I can't spend 15,000 dollars on the Cadillac treatment. They do not care about pets.

Had to have our cat stay over night because of his issues however they we closing Wednesday night into Thursday. They "set us up" with another 24 vet and quoted us an estimate for services only to have the new place tell us that, no one had contacted them about our situation. Now we're looking to be out an additional 2k on top if the $2300 we've already given blue pearl. When asked blue pearl said, "oh sorry I don't know anything about that and I don't know why they would quote you that for a different company".

If you want your dog to live take them somewhere else in an emergency! Also, our dog sick with parvo, had diarrhea outside right in front of the doors and it was left there without being cleaned or sanitized for a full week!! Putting any dog that walked through the doors at risk of contracting. See below for our full story. After 3 visits in 3 days and them telling us every time that he was just having digestive issues, our dog hit a fever of 107 degrees, couldn’t use his legs anymore and his little body started shaking uncontrollably. We rushed him up again and they continued to seem clueless about what was going on. It got to the point where they said we can put him down or do a exploratory surgery for $10,000. We decided to take him to a cheaper vet for the surgery where they immediately told us it would be insane to open him up in his condition and that there were no signs to lead them to think he would need surgery. After a couple of days and a whole lot of tests they were able to diagnose him with parvo and made a full recovery. If we had listened to anything blue pearl said and didn’t move hospitals our dog would be dead right now, and it would have cost us thousands of dollars. They just want your money and don’t seem to care if they actually help or not.

I apologize, I left a scathing review but it was another animal hospital close in the area. The street views are similar. I found the correct animal hospital in the area, it was a very traumatic night, I think I did try to go to blue pearl but they were full for up to 5 hours (which isn’t their fault) my husbands name which is different than mine is who is on the bill. I apologize for the undeserved review. There is another animal hospital in the area that I would never go to again. I can’t leave a review for blue pearl. I apologize again. The vet I love actually recommends blue pearl. I’m so sorry everyone for the misleading review. Everything I stated before was specifically for “Advanced Veterinary Care.” I apologize again to blue pearl. It was dark, with covid in April I couldnt go inside. And I was in shock and in crying that I didn’t look closely at the logo. I apologize. The street views look similar. You are right it wasn’t blue pearl it was a terrible place not far from your location. I’ll make sure they get the review and that I talk with them. Forgive me I was trying to protect others from what my beloved kitty went through.

On weekends they are extremely busy. And the reason why is their service and knowledge is hands down, the best. My cat came close to losing an eye and I won't put a price on him losing that. However considering all the pros, they are relatively cheap.

I really appreciate how professional and caring the the lovely young receptionists came to the door and helped me with my with my injured Bassett hound. I also appreciate the on call vet answering all of my questions. Let's just see if my beautiful girl gets through this traumatizing time in her life.

This place was great! We tried going to 1 normal vet and 1 other emergency place closer to home but BluePearl was the only one that could take us in. We made the drive up and were greeted very efficiently and warmly. Our cat was taken care of in a prompt manner. Costs were discussed beforehand. The staff and medical professionals were excellent and really great to talk to. It was really busy but it sounds like that's the norm for all animal care places.

Quickest vet service I’ve ever been to. My cat had an inflamed bloody eye and I was calling around to try and get her in ASAP. The guy on the phone was very empathetic and was able to get me in 2 hours later with a specialist. The nurse was very friendly and knowledgeable and the doctor even gave me notes on everything I needed to do. With the prescriptions being filled and a cone being fitted I was in and out within an hour!

Blue Pearl was one of the few places open in the evening that would take our cat. We arrived and they checked him out and gave him some meds to take home. Told us to come back or call if things get worse. We'll Saturday they got worse, and we tried calling with no answer. So we drove down there just to find out they are closed till Tuesday. With no on call number or anything. However, Google says they are open with mondays closed. They didn't give us enough meds for the cat, while he currently peeing large amounts of blood and in a ton of pain. So our options are to wait till Monday for our vet, or going to another ER and spend $800 plus. Just wish that they either stick to their schedule or have options for an on call that can read the chart. But not randomly close for three days. With the amount of money we, and lots of other people spend there, you think they would have a better business ethic.

Called for an emergency, as my dog has been throwing up for over an hour. Didn't seemed concerned. Suggested I get her seen but they can't see her as there doctors are not in. Was not helpful. Told me not to feed her. (Well no kidding, I knew that. She's thrown up close to a dozen times within an hour)

I came in with my exes and daughters very sick puppy. We ended up having to euthanize him. I have to say thank you to the tech/nurse and vet and staff for everything. They loved him and helped me let him go from his suffering. The tech especially loved him with me and I will never forget what she did for us.

I've been here before when my dog needed emergency vet care, I really appreciated living next to a 24/7 clinic. This morning, I saw blood in my cat's stool and wanted to call and ask if I should bring her in. Come to find out this "emergency" vet is closed Saturday-Monday now? Do emergencies just not happen on the weekend? This is no longer an 'emergency clinic' and has less days available than my regular vet. My regular vet is even open on Saturdays... what makes this a 24/7 clinic if you're only open 4 days a week?

I brought my 9 week old kitten in after she had been attacked by one of my dogs, and i’ve never been more impressed with a clinic before. Everyone was eager to help her, and get her looked at as soon as we got there. The staff was absolutely amazing, and super informative. They were incredibly soft and sweet with her, and very easy to talk too. There wasn’t a minute that i didn’t know what was going on specifically with my kitten. Definitely coming back if i have any other emergencies!!

Worst place ever!!! Took him 9 /18/21 My 1 year old was sick, not eating, vomiting, took him in they Said he had acid indigestion and gas , allegedly he had a xray, I call bull cause they would of found Said object in his tummy then !!! , still a week later he had gotten worse. Not eating, not pooping, was very sick!! I then took him to amor vet hospital in minutes after another xray they found out what the problem was he had a foreign object in his stomach, they then sent me to cottonwood vet hospital where my baby had to have emergency surgery, thank you to amor and cottonwood you saved my baby. Bluepearl you are the worst!!! You had no problem taking my money for nothing and you almost killed my fur baby. I will never ever refer anyone to you!!!

they do not care about your animal. We waited about 6 hours before deciding to leave to pet urgent care in orem where we only waited a couple hour, whom of which had more people there at their clinic and they were working with only two nurses and one doctor! How is that possible blue pearl?! Step up your game or you are going out of business.

This place was closer so we tried calling here to see if our pet could be seen, should have listened when it was recommended to go to MedVet for care.

I am not happy with this vet office at all. I had a OFA eye exam done on my Lab and I was told AT the office the they send in the paperwork to OFA. Three weeks after the vet visit, I called to follow up that the paperwork was sent in. I was told a second time that it WAS mailed in by the vet. 5 weeks have gone by and I just called again. I was told on my 3rd phone call that I am responsible for sending the paperwork in. I can not believe this. I was told I am also paying extra for them to send it in. I brought my second Lab into Advanced veterinary care in Salt Lake City and had more professionalism and communication than I did at BluePearl. I would recommend anyone considering going to BluePearl to first look into Advanced veterinary care.
