Ruffledale Pet Resort & Paw Spa Layton, Utah

Ruffledale has been a important part of my Pepper's life. I have taken her for day care, and boarding. She is always happy when I pick her up and sleeps for hours after.... lol She plays hard and I like her getting that socialization. Love Ruffledale!!!!!

We took our four month old puppy (maltipoo) for her first grooming. She turned out adorable! Her paws are clean cut, her ears and tail have been cleaned up, and she smells wonderful. They put this cute little bandanna on her too. :) When she was finished they also gave us a piece of paper that told us the razor length they used and who groomed her.

I have been taking my dog here for several years. He has separation anxiety and gets very nervous every time I drop him off, but he is fine after I leave. They are so very kind and help him when I drop him off, even though he has almost brown things with how nervous he gets. We now have a sweet new puppy and they are just as loving and helpful with her as well. I definitely trust them with my fur babies ????

These guys are fantastic! My dog was boarded for the night and then groomed. He was well taken care of and his groomer was excellent. They called me when he was ready and were very accommodating. I felt good about the whole experience and my dog slept for the ENTIRE day when I picked him up!

Seriously love everything about Ruffledale. The staff is wonderful and my dog is excited every time we pull into the parking lot. The half day rates during the week makes it easy for me to work from home because I know my pupper is getting attention and having fun! Having an on-site grooming facility is great for a midweek bath or better yet, picking up a clean dog after a few days of boarding.

Ruffledales was wonderful!! They sent us photos daily and made Christmas cards with the dogs pawprints. Highly recommend!

Did a great job Grooming our little Morkie.

Gus has a great time when he comes to play at Ruffledale. He gets excited when we pull in the parking lot and runs right in the join the other dogs. They have great groomers also. We don’t go anywhere else.

Our pup loves this place but just keep an eye on the half day hours. We were charged for a full day even though our pup was only there for 4 hours. Found out that the rule is you can drop off between 7am-1pm OR 1pm-6pm. Because we dropped off at 11:30am and picked up at 3:30pm we weren't able to pay half day prices...even though we had him there for less time than an actual half day.

These guys were so awesome with my baby boy! He loved it there so much he almost didn’t want to go home. They were super kind and understanding about me calling to check in since we didn’t have as great of an experience elsewhere. I believe the name of the person who helped explain everything to me was Kenna, she was amazing to work with!

Hugo loves his daycare! We recently moved to Layton, and switched to Ruffledale for my dog’s daycare. Hugo comes home so exhausted and worn out from playing that he sleeps for a couple of days. I call it his doggy hangover. The staff know him by name and are always so welcoming. Going to try the grooming side next!

I take my dog Ruby there for daycare and boarding. She is well taken care of and comes home happy. I love that they call her by name when I drop her off. They treat her like family. Will always bring her back. Love Ruffeldale.

I cannot say enough good things about Ruffledale Pet Resort & Paw Spa. My fur baby has ridiculous separation anxiety and hasn't had a lot of socialization with other dogs. The staff at Ruffledale always make him feel comfortable and don't pressure him to interact with the other dogs. Plus they can groom my dog when no one else can. He gets very bitey with other groomers but somehow Ruffledale handles him, without hurting him, and he always looks awesome!

We took our huskies here for a week. It's very clean and has large stalls. The staff is kind and the price is great.

Pros: They are great with texting you to coordinate details. That's convenient and it was super prompt communication. Cons: I have yet to be able to talk with a person because no one is able to answer the phone. I took my dog here for a grooming appointment based on a referral and I love supporting local business instead of the big chains. Unfortunately, I won't be back. I showed a very specific picture of what I wanted and when I picked up my dog, it wasn't even close. Furthermore, her nose had a scab like it had gotten nicked with scissors or something. When I got the dog home, I cleaned up the hair around her ears myself because it was so crooked and jagged. It was nothing like I had asked for and it's very disappointing. The odor is pretty bad inside, too. I was really hoping to like this place and rarely leave negative reviews. But in this case, I've gotten far better results at a large chain pet store.

Love this place! We have taken our dog there for boarding and also for grooming. The staff is always super nice and the prices are actually very good.

First review I gave 5 stars and this wordage: I toured several places before choosing to board my pups, this place by far seemed to be the best. I'm glad I chose Ruffledale! They were very helpful, great communication and took very good care of Emmy Lou and Waylon! This was their first time away from home (aside from overnight at the Vet's office), they were both pretty nervous. Waylon wasn't super friendly with other dog friends, they had to make accommodations for him for everyone's safety. I truly appreciated that! Emmy Lou on the other hand did wonderful and she came home a lot calmer, which is awesome for a German Shorthair! I can't thank the staff enough for providing a wonderful visit for my pups! I will be using the doggie day care services regularly for Emmy, she really loved it! UPDATED REVIEW: Emmy was actually very calm most likely because she was sick. They both came home with kennel cough. We took them to the vet, costly and sad for how they felt. Notified Ruffledale and they didn’t seem to care. Makes sense that our dogs came home sick. I really liked the staff there, but health and safety for your pup is important.

My dog was well taken care of, I will take her there again for boarding.

We love Ruffledales and so does our dog who is always sad to leave.

Our puppy Gidget loves to go here! She is always excited to go and comes home SO TIRED from playing with all her friends. I also love that we never have to worry about her safety when we leave her. We know she is well taken care of!

The owner is amazing and is very professional! You can tell she cares a lot about her business there and does a great job handling everything!

So basically the info i got on the phone is you are so overwhelmed and probably over booked that dogs cannot be accommodated for their needs and safety. Wonder how well those dogs you have that are overwhelmed are being taken care of. Such a shame you as a business, who "cares" for animals, cannot provide accommodation for safety. Will never be using or recommending this facility to anyone.

My dogs had a terrific stay at Ruffledale! All of the dogs there looked happy, and all of the employees were so good with all of the dogs. There is plenty for the dogs to do and plenty of comfortable places for the dogs to relax while at Ruffledale. We will definitely go back again!!!!

My dog is now a regular here. The staff are so sweet to her and she runs right in whenever I drop her off. It gives me peace of mind to know she's here when she's not with me.

I'm disappointed. My dog looks good, but they didn't listen to what I asked them to do. I was very specific in how I wanted him groomed and after paying a very high price (compared to other places) they brought him out. He wasn't even close to what I had asked for. The only response I got was, "Sorry". Won't be back.

We took both our dogs in to get groomed and the groomer did a good job and it was done in the time they said it would be, but the price was higher than we thought it would be, and we even had a coupon.

I am SO happy I found this place. My dog Dexter gets soooo excited everytime we pull in to the parking lot! I love the staff and how well they take care of my baby! I recommend this place to everyone. Cannot say enough good things!

Our puppy loves it at Ruffledale. He gets so excited when we pull into the parking lot. That said the humans are also treated well. We are greeted warmly and at the end of the day the team is just as friendly. This is our second dog to go to Ruffledale, we loved the team then and now.
