Mountain View Animal Clinic Layton, Utah

Seemed pretty good. You pay for what they are, being an emergency vet. But I was grateful they were around. The only thing I didn’t love was that the only way you get to talk to a human when you call is by choosing the “this is an emergency” option. All other options have you leave a message for them to call you back. After a few calls choosing different options I realized that I had to do that. I’m also really over vets doing curbside. Haha I’m grateful for the precautions, but I don’t get to go over all of my concerns without multiple phone calls. And things always seem to get missed. But they were thorough and seemed to care, and most importantly got my dog doing better. ????

Always have a good experience here. Pleasant and helpful staff, knowledgeable vets.

Mountain View Animal Clinic has helped me with the medical care my dogs have needed for the last 18 years. They are capable and more importantly they understand the depth of care one feels for his animals. We had to put down our 14 year old heeler and they made the experience as bearable as possible (it's very difficult for me to loose a friend of 14 years). They even sent flowers and a sympathy card. All of the people there get to know you and your animals and become part of the animals' family.

They took very good care of my dog, and explained everything to me. They even worked with me when I had a slight funding issue.

I was so impressed with Mountain View animal clinic. From my original call of inquiry regarding neutering to bringing my pet home after surgery, I felt I was dealing with truly caring professionals. Every aspect was carried out with my pets safety and comfort in mind. I felt the price was very reasonable and the care and support through the process was excellent. The staff was kind and willing to answer all my questions. I think Mountain View is our new forever Animal clinic.

I like the vet doctor here. they didn't have any openings either until the following week. Customer service is outstanding. And very helpful tips in taking care of a wound.

This is the best place I have been too! Their lobby is clean! They took amazing care of my dog they fit me in & saw me quickly. Explained everything to me they let you in with you fur baby. They do not charge you for un necessary things! And they have great affordable prices!! Their vets are amazing! Recommend coming here and nowhere else!! Definitely do not go to mountain west or med vet.

I have been taking my pets here for years. I wouldn’t take my pets any where else. The staff and veterinarian’s are compassionate, professional and care for the animal. We had to put a cat down a couple of years. My son went with me. It was very traumatic. The clinic bent over backwards and showed compassion. They have a special room that allowed us to have some special time to be with him. They let us take all the time we wanted to to help us say our good bye’s. I will not go any where else to take one of our pets. We have taken in animals from early in their lives to their end of their lives. The staff has always been the same. They go above and beyond to make sure our animals are cared for.

Took my kitty in for his first checkup. The staff was wonderful and the doctor took his time to inform and answer any questions. I was very impressed. One of the best vet visits I have ever experienced.

tells me age has nothing to do with a 17 year old cats problems. right, how silly of me, thanks for the condescending explanation. wants to do a 2k pull of all his teeth despite him having a heart murmur and kidney issues. nothing for my poor kitty's pain and zero compassion from the doc. the tech was sweet though.

This was the worst veterinarian clinic I have been to. I brought my cat in and said it would be 30 minutes. I was sitting in the car for 3 hours. I have left a negative review before and they deleted it.

Dr Kanda absolutely went above and beyond in her examination and follow thru for my cat. I love in Riverdale so it was an hour drive but definitely well worth it to see such a wonderful, knowledgeable Veterinarian.

I've been taking my babies here since they were kittens and I have always been impressed by their quick and professional service. They make scheduling or changes a breeze and they are always great with my cats. The doctors are knowledgeable and professional and always willing to think outside the box to come up with solutions that work - especially when you have one fat cat and one skinny one.

My family has been going to Mountain View Animal Clinic for several years now, and I would recomend them to anyone looking for a top notch place for their pets medical needs. A few years ago we had to put our old dog down. They had a separate private sitting room for us to go in, say good bye, and grieve. They were very sensitive and professional. Last year another one of our dogs needed to have some extensive dental work done. His breed have bad teeth and his had rotted pretty badly. He ended up needing to get all of them removed, but thanks for Mountain View Animal Clinic he recovered quickly and is now just as happy an energetic as he ever was, only now his mouth doesn't hurt him. Recently I acquired a couple of kittens and Mountain View Animal Clinic offered me their kitten package which includes every service that you could want for your new cat. Upon learning of this package I inquired if I could have it applied to my 1year old cat whom I had had Mountain View Animal Clinic take care of when I got her just like I am with my new kittens. Dr.Lopez was willing to work with me and allowed me to add my 1year old cat onto a kitten package and have the cost of the services I had previously paid for be subtracted from the cost of the kitten package. The people at Mountain View Animal Clinic are professional, patient, and caring. If you're looking for a good veterinarian clinic for your pets, I'd say look no further.

Been going here for years with my dogs and newly added cat. They treat whatever illness happens to my pets and thankful for everyone here.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful! Dr Simmons called me and answered all of my questions and concerns!

This vet does a great job but is VERY expensive. They wanted $750+ to pull my cat’s tooth, I got it done at Heartsong for $114. Other vets that I called quoted around $250 for the exact same procedure. Do your research.

We are constantly moving with the military and we've seen a lot of vets for our 2 cats. Mountain View is by far the best we have ever been to. Everyone is so friendly, helpful and professional! Couldn't have had a better experience.

The vet and technicians seem decent but the help at the front desk has been consistently rude, unhelpful and accusatory to the point that I will not return. Prices are high, which would be ok with me if it were ever a good experience, I feel gauged every time.

Dr. Darcy is the best veterinarian we've ever seen and as a regular dog foster I've seen a lot of vets. We moved, but willing to do the drive to see Dr. Darcy.

My cat had an infected cat bite so I brought him in to be seen ~ The staff was very friendly and gentle with him. It made him and I both feel comfortable with what was going on. The doctor was very kind and explained her treatment plan thoroughly. My cat was his old self in no time. I’m so glad I didn’t try to continue to treat him at home as that wasn’t working.

Great doc but their covid protocols are over the top. Went there just after the Gov lifted the mask mandate and this clinic requires you to wait in your car until they call you in one at a time. Very inconvenient and clearly outdated. But once again their doc was super thorough and gentle with my cat
