Sadly this last December I had to let my sweet dog go. But I was going glad that I choose to go with banfield they were so kind and so sweet through the whole process they do everything on your time clock and give you the proper time you need to grieve with your pet to say goodbye and offer amazing packages to get your ashes back of your friend or paw prints or whatever you may need to remember them! I received my baby’s ashes back very quickly and again the team was so kind and respectful. On top of that about week after I had picked up my sweet boys ashes i received a letter in the mailbox wishing me well with the loss of my pet and it was signed but everyone! I was blown away. The care they for you and your pet is beyond amazing for me. On top of it I felt like it was all very affordable. Would 10 out of 10 recommend them for your pet needs

My German shepherd puppy Dakota goes to this vet and so far no issues! Been really good experience, he loves his vet!Besides I don't recommend drop off if your dog is still a puppy in training. Definitely appointments are best! ❤️

I took a new adopted 10 weeks old kitten for first check because I have used Banfield Pet Hospital in another state. No blood test was done for the kitten. The kitten has ear mites. I thought the ears need to be cleaned before applying medicine, but medicine was put into the filthy ears. I am very disappointed on the service received.

I have had nothing but positive experiences with all of the veterinarians and vet assists at Banfield. I have been going here for 4 years and I have both my 17 yr old kitty and my new kitten on their wellness plan. It has been absolutely worth it. They are great with my cats and pay attention to how they are acting, doing their best to make the experience as painless as possible. In my many trips to the vet I've seen them treat a variety of cats and dogs, small and large, and would recommend them to anyone looking for a regular vet. Their love for animals is obvious, I have no problem trusting them with my precious babies.

Wow!!! Is all I can say about this place, they were able to get my puppy in ASAP after she hadn’t been feeling good for a few days. Good quality work and a staff that treats your animal just like family!

Amazing quality of care! I have used Banfield before and when I moved I decided to use them again - honestly due to convenience. I'm so glad I did. Dr. Doxey and her staff are attentive, kind, empathetic, and reliable. They always manage to make time for me - even when it is last minute (which is half the time). I will always come here for my pet care. I feel heard and listened to whenever I come and they are eager to help. I think my cat gets better care than I do at my own doctor visits to be honest. They go above and beyond. I hope I can get the tellbanfield review site to work so that their bosses know how excellent all of them are. Thank you for always being kind and knowledgeable!

I used to love going to Banfield and I used to recommend them to everyone. Slowly but surely I have been changing my mind. My 9 year old yorkie has been on their wellness plan since day one. Slowly their prices have increased and I have considered dropping it all together but I did like that I could get a doctor appointment whenever and the visit was free. Well the last couple times I have called because there is an immediate (not emergency) reason I need an appt (example: my pup has a rash, my pup hurt himself and is now limping). EVERY TIME I call now the appointments are days out. I feel like they should keep a few spots open through out the day for wellness plan holders. I have spent a good amount of money on this plan and it's almost impossible to get an appointment when it's needed. If they are this busy then more staff is needed. Because the only reason I take my dog into the office, is because there is a problem (besides the yearly check/dental cleaning). I shouldn't have to wait days when a member of my family is in pain. I also do not like that over the last few years they haven't allowed me to stay with my pup for the appointment (nothing to do with COVID). As a vet hospital they should know that most people do not like leaving their pets unnecessarily. My yorkie is a member of our family and I would never leave my child at a doctors office and just let them "get to them when they can". I do understand that sometimes it can't be helped, but this has been every visit over probably the last 5-7 years. What's the point of all those rooms? I never see them get used anymore. The staff has always been friendly and the office is clean.

Quick and friendly service but they need more locations, this one was very far from our home. Much more reasonable pricing than typical veterinarian places

Absolutely appalled by their “Wellness Plan” benefits. My dog passed away just two days ago from respiratory/kidney/heart failure. They make the Wellness Plan sound like insurance for your pet—but buyer beware. I was charged a “premium” for the Wellness Plan today after my dog passed. I called their office to cancel the package and was told if I were to cancel I would have to pay off the remainder of the plan $500+ upfront or continue paying monthly costs for my dog that’s no longer here until the end of the year. We just spent $500+ to euthanize and cremate him. We’ve been on this ridiculous plan since he was a pup with yearly increases in “premiums” (because they specified that they’re not insurance) and have to continue giving them money for services that aren’t being used. They only cover the cost of a certain number of labs, x-rays, etc so please consider that before they trick you into signing up. I will 100% not bring any of my pets back here due to outlandish practices and preying on naive pet owners. Please watch out for corporate entities like Banfield that only want your money and care very little about the situation of your pet.

Brought our boys in for their 6 month comprehensive exams and as always the visit was quick and efficient. Adriah was great! He addressed any concerns I had and was very caring with handling my babies. Dr. Dexey's follow up call was extremely informative and helpful. I felt that Adriah and Dr. Dexey really cared for my pets!

Banfield Pet Hospital is the best pet hospital ever! The staff is SUPER friendly and helpful, especially Adrian at the Layton location. He is a very sweet boy, and my dogs absolutely adore him! He is very good at working with dogs, and goes very in-depth about your pet’s health needs. If you every go to this location, ask for him!

Always nice and willing to explain things price may be higher then some others but they will definitely take care of your pet and are always on the look out for what's best but not going to push anything on you that you dont want they may suggest but it's always up to you.

Took my boy in because another dog bit him and then took him back a week later to have them look at the bite. They were amazing with him.

They mixed up my two cats even though they had collars on. Gave one vaccines she's didn't need and when they realized they mixed them up, they had to go back and give the other one vaccines and so the 2nd time they tried to touch her she wanted nothing to do with them, so they had to give her a sedative. I had to pay for the sedative and my poor cat was just drooling and drooling and drooling and she was soaked in it and she was just so off the rest of the night, she was drooling all over the house and it was just awful. They gave her too much for her little body.

Called at 11:40 on Wednesday and asked prices to put my dog down. Made an appointment for the next day on Thursday. When I got there they then decided they had to do an exam for me to put my dog down. Who needs to exam my dog when I know my dog and the pain she is suffering. They wanted to then sell me drugs to make my dog more comfortable instead of me already going through the pain of knowing I wasn’t bringing my dog home. Now they bring me a new price almost triple the cost of what I was quoted. I would stay away from here. They do not care about you or your pet. It’s all about the money to them.

It was our first visit and the techs and doctor were all professional toward the humans. As for the animals ... they are definitely loved and cared for. They couldn't get enough of our little kitten. Definitely going back for all our pet care.

This Pet Hospital is the best. Our English bulldog Hank got an eye ulcer while we were out of town. Banfield in Layton squeezed him in the day we got back, and scheduled a double eye surgery the next day. The eye surgery went great ????????Great job staff and Dr Urbick

So I brought my Rottweiler here to have a surgery done. The staff marketed a pet wellness plan in order to receive a discounted price & be able to bring my dog in for check ups & what not. Well unfortunately about a month later I had to put my dog down due to an underlining issue & complications from the surgery, in which the staff did not warn us prior of the risk. I tried to get my wellness plan canceled but they would not let me cancel it & instead are making me pay monthly check up fees for an entire year for a dog who is no longer living. I recommend taking your pets elsewhere.
