Very nice and caring people at this clinic! My dogs enjoyed going there and they feel so much better now since getting treated for fleas. Ace also got his yearly shots. And Jessie Lynn was treated for allergies.

I thinks it’s important to make sure people know: there are 2 Dr.s at this place. Dr. Buck- whom all these 5 stars reviews are reflecting, as well as the info on the website. But there is another Dr. /vet as well that isn’t mentioned anywhere and if you and your pet are unlucky enough to be assigned as his- you’ll soon see why. My first impression was that he has zero people skills and no attempt to comfort either the animal or human- with words or matter of fact confidence. He speaks at you won’t make eye contact and his assist Shelly was much of the same. We came to them out of pure emergency amd closest to trauma accident- but the follow up visits them confirmed that this Dr was not only making our situation much harder with his inability to treat us like people - but unable to confidently amd with professionalism, explain thoroughly - options. For treatment, possible outcomes amd aftercare etc.. Gave us one option and said I can do this surgery and you need to put 70% down for me to even do it which we scrambled came up with and did only to find out later that a hairline fracture in the pelvis of a dog her size did not need to have the surgery that he gave to her and now what she will probably pass away from is the fact that he did the surgery on her stretched out her skin by adding more stitches and cuts that were not relevant to the actual surgery he did to repair a muscle. No these other more prominent slices amd stitches were JUST to hold tubing in place that would drain her surgery slice - and now - that skin to try to hold those tubes is dying. And at follow up visit he finally said that he thinks wound will get too large and that’s what she will pass from honestly we never knew that the surgery was optional!!!!! We didn’t k ow what he did until after it was done in fact. In traumatic moments like these- when you’re not in the mind set of asking the right questions or mentally just scattered etc- You need to put yourself in front of a Dr that not only knows what’s best for options and can deliver them to you with calm, love and care in mannerisms,but then handle the work once decision is made. And not flip flop your pet around in front of you. This doctor gave us no options this clinic treated like we were stupid or insignificant and I would not recommend Dr. Prichard or whatever the hell his name is nor his staff in fact I I would love to just meet one person that actually goes to him voluntarily and says he’s great .find me that person.

Both of the doctors at this clinic are compassionate and extremely professional in their care. They care about the animal and the owner. Many times situations are not ideal and great care is given to walk the owner through all the processes. I am grateful for these doctors, staff and business. It would be a great world if all doctors including human doctors only had to do wellness checks. Real world does not allow that to happen so they are required to deal with an enormous range of emotions and incidents. Thank you for standing strong through thick and thin.

As a whole, the staff is very helpful and helpful! Their prices are affordable.

Cannot say enough nice things about them... they are amazing and did a great job fixing my cats torn knee and broken hip, they really care and it shows

Took the best care of our lil boston chili. He may have lost his eye (ruptured corneal ulcer) but absolutely 0 issues. He may only have one eye but he's still an ornery lil cuss

Everyone is so nice here. Especially when we had to put down my mom's dog last week. It was a very emotional and heartbreaking decision my mom had to make. The staff sent my mom a card and a poem to go with her dog's ashes.

I have been going to another veterinarian for over 20 years . One of my 5 dogs was bit by a snake . My old vet refused to see him instead told me to go elsewhere anywhere but to their vet clinic. I called one of the clinics my old vet suggested in mesquite they also refused to see my dog instead told me to go to Dallas. These clinics they were suggesting were 50 miles plus away from me . I googled for a veterinarian clinic that would treat snake bites near me and this VZ clinic came up . The receptionist I think her name was Bethany was awesome told me to bring him in immediately. I had the dead snake it was a copperhead so no anti venom needed . The staff at VZ animal clinic made me feel at ease they acted like they cared about my Chance Hounddog. This was my first snake bite I had no clue as to what to do or expect . I do believe I’ve found a new veterinarian for my 5 fur babies. I’m grateful and thankful for all they did for us yesterday . My 110 pound baby looks and feels so much better today . Also very nice informative vet assistant I didn’t get his name I’m so sorry about that . Overall really excellent experience considering the circumstances. Thank you Dr Van Trese and staff ! Thank you so much!! for all you did for my baby yesterday ! Highly recommend this veterinarian!! This is one very happy fur baby Mommy today!! Update. Still 5 plus stars. I just wanted to thank these kind , compassionate, professionals at this animal clinic. Great care of clients and pets

People were frindley an it was clean prises were a little high but close to my house l might give them another try

This veterinarian did a whole lot of guessing and not a lot of feeling and taking action upon my dying dog. I later found out that the paperwork for my deceased dog was already in process. So they just expected my dog to pass away. He's alive today thanks to Kaufman veterinarian clinic.

I don't trust anyone when it comes to my fur babies but i have to say i have changed my mind. Both of my fur babies had to have major surgery over the past year. Dr. Buck VanTrease and his team are great at what they do and take time to explain what is best for your pet. Everyone is so nice & friendly. They do truly care about your pets & treat them like they are their family. You can trust them with your fur babies. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a good veterinarian. This vet clinic goes above and beyond what we could have imagined. They have been a steady hand these past few weeks, with not one but two of our babies. Even through a very tough and sad decision the staff was honest and supportive. Highly recommend this vet. Our Biscuit was young and loved, Thank you so much for caring for him so well.

First visit with our Spam girl today. Hands down an amazing office! The most friendliest, knowledgeable, and helpful staff. The doctor took time to explain things to me and I never once felt rushed. They have our business from here on out.

Awesome place. Dr. Buck is super friendly. Clean, knowledgeable. Dr takes the time to educate. My dogs still hate the vet but he makes it pleasant.

My doggo was thrilled with the service. That's saying something because he got neutered. And still he wanted to hang out longer?
