I took my Baby aka My Dozer American bulldog here today to see about his leg. Everyone was soo nice and friendly and immediately took care of the issue. The doctor was soo amazing and very very kindness I definitely would recommend their services for your animals needs.....

This place is a money racket my dog was rushed there with a dog bite to the head and chest i was first quoted that her care would cost 2000 and upon picking her up i was told that i needed to take her to my regular vet becase they didnt know why she had labored breathing and did no x-rays or anything. They take advantage of people who love there animals thats it.

We had to take our baby in and had to decide on euthanasia. The staff and veterinarian was very compassionate and professional.

My dog was hit by a car. The Tech at this place acted as if it were not that big of a deal, said they were going to sedate her and put her in a splint, etc. Then she had me sign documents to agree the price of $944 for the procedure. 10 minutes later the Vet comes out and tells me that there is nothing they can do for her. Says she needs a $5k surgery elsewhere, cut her leg off, or euthanasia. So they charged me almost $1k to tell me I need really expensive surgery or let the vet kill my dog. Worst experience ever do not go here. Complete rip off. Just be upfront with people.

The best overall veterinary care I have found in the Tyler area is at Tyler Animal Emergency Clinic. From check-in to checkout, the entire staff is personable and efficient, caring and compassionate, towards pet owners and pets alike. The excellence of everything at this facility is absolutely outstanding. Special recognition and appreciation to veterinarian Dr. Jay and assistant Haley, and administrative staff Lana and Nakia for going above and beyond to provide exceptional service to my cat Ricci and me. A 5-star rating is much deserved!!

This place was amazing, we were worried because of past reviews but the employees where a god send.

I'm a long haul trucker and my little co-pilot dog got extremely ill on the road with me. I brought her in at midnight and the Vet Tech immediately began caring for my baby. A short time later the doctor came in and spoke with me after examination my dog and explained the treatment that was needed as well as explaining the lab results in detail. I left her in their care overnight where she was treated with the IV fluids and medicines that were needed. Thank you to them both for the care we received in our time of need. I highly recommend this facility and the staff for any of your pets emergency needs.

We brought my fur baby here for the first time due to some issues he was having (over dramatic fur mama). We were greeted at the door and asked about our concerns. We were immediately taken into a room. Dr Dixon was soo sweet and our tech Becca or Bethany took great care of us. They were very informative and explained everything thoroughly. She even sat down, went over cost, and let me know what my baby would feel with each injection. I was reassured multiple times to call if I needed anything. I definitely recommend.

I'm a ICU ER veterinary technician from the Metroplex. I have had to use this facility more than once when down visiting. I trust the staff here as much as I trust the doctors I work with.

All I can say is that they did not rush me when we took my diabetic cat in. She needed to be put to rest, of course I cried like a baby. But I was never rushed and the doctor was very patient. This may be where I choose to take all of my pets while I'm living in Tyler.

I brought my ten week old puppy in due to an injury sustained by my other dog.. The vet was dismissive and “felt” my puppy didn’t need an X-ray of his injured leg. Won’t be taking my dogs back to them. Too over priced.

Took my kitten Vixen in last night with broken skin/infections on her back two paws. She was nearly lifeless, and thinking the worst, I rushed her here from my Bullard residence. When I walked her in, they IMMEDIATELY took us back, got me to fill out a quick new patient form, and took Vixen back. They’re compassion and swiftness put my fears and worries to bed. I was worried about prices, and they gave me a few different estimates so I didn’t have to leave feeling robbed. By the time I left and took Vixen home w/ her prescribed antibiotics (and w/ a fresh bath), she had so much life put back into her. The staff was nicer then they could have been, and Vixen was taken very good care of. This morning Vixen is doing well!

WOW is all i can say. I see plenty of bad reviews, but that wasn't our experience. They were extremely professional from front desk until the end . Everything was explained to us. Where else would a Vet give you a hug like he was family. We had to put down our 14.5 year old Shitzu. They treated us like family and let us grieve like family. I definitely will refer people to you. For the people that say they are high priced, IT'S A EMERGENCY CLINIC not a regular vet. Thanks again for making yesterday a day i will cherish. Give them a shot , their are newer and better Doctors.

Don’t go unless it’s an absolute emergency. It’s convenient to have if your pet’s life is in danger, but try to wait it out and see your regular vet. It is a little slow here and can be expensive.

Very slow and takes forever to tell customer update on dog. Long wait and not busy.

This was the coldest most inhumane depressing place I have ever been. The greeter was like a robot, and there was no compassion, no bedside manner at all from the other two girls. They were immature and just down to business with the money part. I was depressed about my dog, sent into a cold concrete room by myself unable to get out, sat in a stiff terrible chair, no water for my dog until finally I requested it after 1 1/2 hours of waiting. It was over 2 hours before I left with a $324 bill just to be told it would cost $628 to run two tests to determine the problem and more money to treat my dog. I was not allowed to talk to the vet until the he walked in with the grim news that he felt a tumor. I declined further treatment after they kept typing up invoices with ballooned figures. I barely got out at $324. Don't take your dog or your cat there, unless you have lots of money and don't mind giving it away. Go to North Tyler vet or try Mineola or another town. I'm sorry to have to report this but I felt violated being there.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. They are terrible people and have no compassion for what they do for a living. My 3 month old puppy is dying from poisoned water and i don't exactly have the money to do anything at all for the little girl. I couldnt get through the front door without them requesting me to pay over 100 dollars just to get her seen by the vet. This place is full on money hungry. They should not be called an emergency vet clinic. Not at all. As for a rating on this place I believe it should be shut down. I give no rating on it what so ever. The staff need to be fired and the owner of the place needs to resign and sell the clinic to someone who actually cares for animals. Not a money hungry A Whole.

Waaaaaay over priced and give you an inflated bill to later tell you that is the gold standard bill from 1300 to 400 and offer to cover the cost if I gave up my dog went to Morton clinic in Athens for follow up gave me same meds plus one and same care for 116 these people take advantage of emergency situations to price gouge they are definitely about profit not the animals at this establishment

I really appreciated Dr. Sheehy and the rest of the staff examing my cat so quickly and thoroughly when I brought him in the other night. I was extremely worried, and letting them look him over and tell me he was stable let me be able to sleep through the night. I also really appreciated the detailed notes they wrote up so I could show my regular vet without having to rely on my memory. Thank you everyone, Leo is doing a lot better!

Got my cat spayed from SPCA yesterday and my cat wouldn’t stop licking the incision so we tried the cones but she wasn’t having it. The hospital dealt with me ALLLL night calling literally over and over and we went up there multiple times to have them come her and put onesies on her because we couldn’t. Ended up keeping her over night to take stress off of us but they were so patient and friendly! I’m so thankful for them and how much they’ve helped this first night!

Not a very good place of work. Very unprofessional. Will not be giving any of my money to this business.

Hidden fees everywhere very rude make you feel like a bad person when you can’t afford to pay all the fees that weren’t discussed, called them and asked how much for a visit they said 90$ no other fees went up there they did all this other stuff they didn’t tell us and came out to 600$

Absolutely terrible service, the person that answered the phone clearly didn't care at all about my issues. When I asked their opinion on if I should bring my pet in, they were telling me that they didn't know, I would have to speak with the vet, and she got very aggressive with it. I also asked if they treated guinea pigs, and I was informed that they only treat cats and dogs, and I was out of luck until an exotic vet opened. No assistance at all. Both of my pets had severe issues, and you guys not caring made it ten times worse!

Most caring and compassionate Dr and techs. They helped my furrbaby and treated him as the family member he is. Very fair expenses for the services. My new furrbaby's Dr for good, ill never go anywhere else.

We took our dog here because he was attacked. They said only 1 person was allowed. I told my wife to go back. Before I could ask the lady at the front desk if she needed any information I was rudely told I could go outside and wait in the car. They're very rude and unprofessional. We only stayed because it was after hours at our regular vet. I would have rated them a 0 star but Google won't let me. As you can see from other people's reviews these people are very rude and unprofessional! I will be looking for another emergency vet clinic.

I took my dog to Tyler Animal Emergency Clinic last night after my son was running with him and tripped and fell on him. They charged me 452$ to take X-rays and give him some pain meds for a dislocated elbow. They were not confident in reducing the joint at this EMERGENCY facility and therefore my dog had to suffer through the night until we could get him to his regular Vet. Our Vet charged us 245$ to sedate him, reduce the joint, take additional X-rays following, and apply bandaging. The take full advantage of your emotions at Tyler Animal Emergency Clinic with the inclination that you will pay whatever to treat your loved pet. If an emergency clinic cannot reduce a luxated joint then you Cannot Call YOURSELF an EMERGENCY clinic. Stop ripping people off.
