We usually take Tex to his normal vet who always does so well with him but have recently moved over an hour away, making the drive too much for him. Thrive was close to home and very affordable. Tex can be an absolute handful in new settings while being around new people considering his terrible anxiety. That being said, they did very well with my energetic pup and I appreciate how sweet and helpful the vet was herself!! The receptionist was nice too and created a welcoming tone to start the visit off with.

Easy and affordable, but also impersonal and not proactive.

I took my pup for yearly checkup and for a rash on his stomach. They told us it was allergies and started treatment. After a month his issue began to come back so we took him in and they gave him another shot and started him on an oral medication . Two days into that and he became lethargic, no appetite and no bowel movements. I tried calling the office every day begging them to see him and figure out what was wrong. I was told to feed him pumpkin and wait 48 hours. Instead of taking responsibility and asking me to bring him in for evaluation, they told me that I had to wait till Tuesday. That was 4 days away and we'll he died this morning. IF YOU LOVE YOUR DOG STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION. The vet there is very unprofessional.

This was my dog’s first visit at the clinic. The sfaff was unbelievably friendly toward my dog (a 165 lb Malamute) and treated him with so much care! Everyone was very kind and knowledgeable and made us feel super welcomed. I was also impressed with the doctor, it was a pleasant surprise to meet a vet in this area who knows so much about malamutes. Another perk? Their pricing!! Excellent overall experience - will definitely continue to come here from now on.

Thank you is an understatement!!! The staff is Amazing!!!!! So friendly kind and very considerate they kept us very informed about absolutely everything they were doing to him and consulted with us all the pricing as well. I am so glad I found this vet office and will now definitely be our fur baby’s primary vet.

Brought my baby in for dental exam and they took her from the exam room into another exam room??? when I was told I would be able to be in the room with her. Plus they weren’t able to do the exam but still charged me. Seems they’re only out for the money. I discussed the issue with them and didn’t receive apology

My puppy Nora was a rescue and is scared of almost everything, yet she is always so excited to come to the vet! She loves everyone here and I have full trust in them to take care of my baby. The both of us always leave so happy knowing she is getting the best care!

Took my fur baby in yesterday to the woodlands location for a sore on her tummy, as her normal vet is no longer available (stupid covid) the receptionist was great however the vet technician and vet were awful. The tech took my dog from the exam room after secluded for over 30 minutes. No true exam was done. I'm accustomed to vets at least listening to heart/lungs doing a physical examination. None of that happened. Over 20 minutes later the vet comes in and I hear my fur baby crying in the other room. She lectures us about not having her fixed when we got the puppy then tells us it's cancer and we need to put my dog down. Mind you no diagnostics were done just I assume a visual inspection. To Definitively say it's cancer some type of biopsy should have been done. The vet then tells us we have to go somewhere else for any further care; tells us she is in pain (duh that's part of the reason I brought her in) but they really don't have pain medicine. When the tech finally brings back my fur baby she is scared to death and on a choke leash still wearing her own collar and leash dragging behind her. My dog is so Traumatized from this she is still whining and crying. May be great for shots but don't waste you time or money for anything else if you truly care about your pet.

Good experiences here. Always quick and friendly. And the only place my cat doesn't lose her mind when going to.

They charged me $104.06 for medicine I could get for something ai could buy for $33.06 from petco and walmart. Same brand and size. Definitely not “affordable” as promised. Not worth the drive for me. Never coming back.

I have found my permanent vet! Not only do they take care of your pet needs, they are very affordable AND allow a payment plan!!!!! This is so much better than Care Credit. They have an app that logs all your pet vets. Thank you THRIVE. I will always bring my dogs here.

I love Thrive! Very affordable, quality care and they treat my pups as if they were their own. My big baby had to have surgery and the vet was excellent at communicating with me before, during, and after, and really eased our (mine and my dogs) anxiety. The support staff are always friendly and efficient, and scheduling appts. is easy, I love that I can do it online! I’ve also never had a problem getting one of my dogs in for a same day visit. Thrive rocks!! ☺️

After recently adopting a rescue pup (Phoebe), we sought immediate care for her at THRIVE. The vet and techs went above-and-beyond to ensure Phoebe received the attention and care she needed. They answered my many questions; and we left Phoebe's visit relieved and comfortable with the treatment plan they established for her. I would definitely recommend THRIVE to anyone needing superior care for their pet in a professional, caring environment!

We've had several bad experiences with the Eldridge location. It wasn't like that in the beginning though. The latest experience we had came about because I left message after message and no one would return my call. The calls do not go …

So we took our Dog Annie in to see vet. She is a older dog 14 years of age. We were there literally 30 mins. And we got a diagnosis of hip dysplasia, invertebrated disc, arthritis, and ear infection. So issue I have is after all that we …

From start to finish my dog's visit at Thrive was seamless. The love the staff have for animals shines through. I have found my little boy's new vet.

Visited THRIVE for the first time today simply because my dog was ill. She has what appears to be a urinary tract infection and I just wanted some antibiotics to give her. Instead, I received a lecture from the receptionist and Debra Garrison regarding her behavior and how she "doesn't even know the word SIT." Well, she does just not with people that are not her owners. I have a 4-year old Rottweiler who listens just fine to her owners and is very friendly with others we deem safe to be. If I wanted a dog who listened to whomever, I'd get a Golden Retriever. While I can certainly understand and appreciate the "concern" I came for help with my dogs urinary symptoms. The vet seemed more concerned with her behavior than the issues we were having. For a concerned pet parent, that was a big turnoff for me. I will not be returning for that reason. I could receive care for my pet elsewhere for just as affordable prices minus the lecture.

Do not take your pet here. Dr Debra Garrison was very dismissive of my dog's issues. I took my dog Rocco in on Jan 25th Monday morning. He had been having vomiting off and on since Saturday night. I found an appointment here, for first …
