As usual I am impressed with the professionalism at Banfield Pet Hospital. The doctor gave me detailed information about both of my pets health and gave me good information on how to keep them healthy regarding their diets. I will continue using Banfield for all of my pets needs.

Staff of the hospital is always professional and informative. My pet enjoys the ladies at the desk as well as Dr Ezell. Treatment of my Chihuahua is always done as I requested. The plans for wellness are reasonably priced and quite a bargain when high cost treatment shows my savings.

This is not a “hospital”. Hospitals have walk-in availability, and emergency services. This is a vet clinic, or office. When I call you on a Saturday with a sick dog, and you say “we can’t make exceptions “ you are not a hospital.

The staff at this location is amazing. Shoutout in particular to the vet techs Taylor and Meredith. They were extremely knowledgeable and thorough, and took the time to explain when answering my questions. The entire staff was very friendly and sweet, and their love for animals really shows. I know they’re doing their best for my pup and feel very safe bringing her here. Thank you to this awesome staff! Y’all are doing wonderful work and it’s so appreciated :)

Very disappointed, we signed our pup up with the membership, about $50 a month, back in April. We were receiving our pups heart worm/flea drops via mail. We moved and switched our mailing address late May. Stopped receiving stuff. Called in July asking about our pups meds and they told us to wait for his appointment in August. Verified our mailing address.. still no meds in the mail. They said in order to receive his higher dosage of flea meds we needed to bring in the stuff they “mailed”. They didn’t mail us anything!!! You can’t trade something you don’t receive. Walked in and they gave us one dose. Fast fwd to December, still nothing in the mail. I call to confront them about the situation, we are paying for services we aren’t receiving. The woman notifies me that they switched us to receive his meds by “pick-up”. This isn’t what I signed up for, so she says we can come pick up. We go to pick up and suddenly they won’t give us his meds because they want another wellness visit first AND they added a fee! We have been paying $50ish since April for services they claim to give! And everytime they are confronted it’s another excuse or a fee??? I can’t cancel because it’s a year contract and if I do cancel I still have to pay the rest of the year off! This is ridiculous! I don’t recommend this place to anyone. It’s been a huge waste of money.

Sweet people. Always makes sure I understand everything also. Prices are about the same as other places. Although, they do offer the health plan which can come in handy depending on your needs and the needs of your pet.

My cat, Bella, started having issues about 3 -4 weeks ago and started vomiting and eating in a strange manner. I brought her in and they told me the blood work, from the little they could get, was fine. I brought her in again as she got progressively worse the next week. This time, they sedated her and looked in her mouth, no issues there. This week, she stopped eating totally and lost a bunch of weight. I wanted to bring her in and get a full work up, but the vet prescribed some medications for what might be the issue instead. They didn't want me to bring her in because she gets super stressed at the vet. I understand that, but Bella is at this moment dying at another vet clinic because I thought I should get a second opinion. I'm glad I did, because the other vet says she is severely anemic, she's super stressed, dehydrated, she's got an infection, and there is a blockage in her intestine. She will need surgery, but chances are slim she will survive the surgery in her condition. He gave me the choice of trying to treat her aggressively or putting her to sleep. I told him to try to save her. The other vet is going to try to do what he can, but it doesn't look good. I am so angry at Banfield right now. If they had just seen her and given her a full work up like I wanted, she probably wouldn't be this bad.

If you don't know to ask the right questions, they won't volunteer valuable information at the possible cost of your pets' health and well-being. I was mislead and then quoted an inflated price for heartworm treatment. Another vet clinic in town offered HW treatment for a significantly lower price. Shop around and educate yourself!

I was very disappointed with this place. It was recommended to me by a friend. They were very helpful at first but then, I get a phone call that they double dosed him because two people weren’t communicating. (ONE OF THEM BEING A TRAINEE) Someone delegated the task of giving my dog medicine to a trainee instead of doing it themselves. All they came back saying is “Oh well, he’ll be fine. We called the company. Just watch out for vomiting and diarrhea.” I spoke to the doctor and I was very frustrated and she told me about what happened and said “We educated every one involved.” What would have happened if it weren’t just vomiting and diarrhea and it could’ve hurt him badly? I’m very disappointed with how things were handled. I won’t be going back.

I have been taking my animals here for over 10 years. So please do not think of this as a one time biased visit. The staff (minus the current vet) has always been professional and courteous. Over the past couple the veterinarian has told me one thing then done another, or said that they could do something only to say later that it was never said that they could do what was promised. I took one of my dogs in today for a drop off only to get a call an hour or so later saying that they couldn't do anything with the dog because the dog was being difficult and they couldn't draw blood. Was told on a previous visit (guess what. . . they couldn't draw blood then either) that since they couldn't draw blood they would sedate the dog to do that when they did the dental cleaning. The vet said that they never said this. It is the same vet that told me this before. They wanted to sell me meds to calm the dog down to bring back in a few days. I have had this dog and other animals on one of their wellness plans to help offset some routine vet bills. One of the plans for a cat was called in to cancel multiple times and they continued to charge me even though I did not have the cat any more. Then they wouldn't refund the money for what they charged that was not authorized. Fed up with the McDonald's franchised BS of this clinic and the way they conduct their business. I will not be going back to them or any where this practices.

This is seriously the most expensive vet in town. Their focus is 100% on upselling and getting you to spend more. My dog had some eye issues and I wanted her microchiped. They charged $284 for this visit. They insisted on doing an eye stain because according to the vet, it wouldn't be safe to put a steroid in her eyes if we didnt check for scratches. Turns out what she prescribed is an antibiotic NOT steroid anyway. Just another way to charge for another test. I microchipped the dog because I was leaving town the next day and wanted to make sure she'd be covered . They gave me the information to register the chip online. Come to find out, you have to wait a week. No one tells you this. When I questioned it, I was told "well it says that in the brochure we gave you". Um, you could have also just told me that. I rejected the $45 antihistamine they said was necessary and opted for benadryl. The injection they have for itching was $50!!! Needless to say, I won't be back. This was literally the priciest visit I've ever had with a dog except emergency care. Ridiculous.

Always courteous and made my pet feel comfortable. The Veternarian Dr. Kahn was fabulous and explained things thoroughly.

Terrible!!! Dont do it! Do it for the puppy deal. They typically give a deal for 1st year puppies, but after that, cancel immediately! Why???...bcuz if you try to use them to cure whatever is wrong with your pet, they charge insane prices. Try a private practice local for real care. Only use this place for 1st year vaccinations.
