The Doctors here care more about their 6 figure income than the animals. My animal is suffering after being neutered here and they will do nothing. After the devastation of Laura and the financial crisis of myself and many people are enduring right now, they will not do ANYTHING. Do not use this place. My best friend/cat will never be the same because of these people, and that pain is priceless. So please, do not use them. And their response to this review is so misleading and they have twisted my words against me, so yall watch out for these terrible people.

Can't say enough about the staff here. They are absolutely amazing. My Gunner had some behavioral problems and referred me to a trainer. Now, he is doing what is asked of him. Thank you for everything you do.

The Vet takes good care of my Pits.

My boy chapo and I stopped by today after driving all night from Georgia and Maplewood animal hospital made us feel right at home very friendly staff.

I will only bring my pup here. They treat her like the family member she is. Lucy loves them and I'm so thankful for their caring compassionate hearts.

My daughter and I just wanted to say Maplewood Animal Hospital took care of our Chihuahua (Yoshi Frelot). The staff was friendly, helpful and made us feel so relax trusting them with our fur baby. Thanks to all the staff at Maplewood Animal Hospital for showing Yoshi some love.

I was here visiting my daughter and her family and had brought my geriatric chihuahua of 15 years with me. During our visit her health declined past the point of fixing. After making the difficult decision, I called area veterinarians to find anyone to help me give me baby relief from all her suffering. I hated that I couldn't take her to our home vet, but there was no way she could wait and go home. MAH was willing to see us immediately! (Others wanted me to try to wait all day). When I walked in, they knew exactly who I was. No wait, right in into a private room. They took her for just a second to place her catheter and then brought her right back to me. Before they have her any medicines, they spent time petting her, told her what a good girl she was, and how brave she had fought all the obstacles in her life. I held her in my arms while she was given a sedative to go to sleep. I'm SO GRATEFUL for this step! Then they gave the injection to stop her heart. After just a few seconds the dr listened and let me know she was at rest. They gave me all the time I wanted to sit and hold her then they lovingly took her and carried her away as if they knew her and loved her too. If I lived here, beyond a shadow of a doubt, I would bring my babies here! So kind, compassionate, and affordable! Thank you for helping me on one is the worst days of my life.

First visit for my Charley!!! They had a special welcome sign with Charley's name on it. Everyone is so nice and good with Charley.

Brought my puppy in for shots and check up. They prescribed my puppy worming medication. Puppy's stomach continued to be bloated and her breathing continued to be irregular. Doctor did not give me any answers to the irregular breathing. When I called to get another check up the staff was rude and uncompassionate. All they wanted was to charge me more money for another check up. I will not take my animals back. If you want proper care for your furbabies then take them to Doctor Ford in Lake Charles. PS. ___Not gonna happen!!!!___ You should have gotten it right the first time. You need to call an HR (Human Resource) office to get your practice in a positive working environment.

Wonderful people, very helpful and compassionate!

My mom came to visit me from FL and brought her 14 year old chihuahua that had had a huge surgery a few weeks before and went downhill fast and need to be put to sleep. We had called around to try to get her in ASAP and other offices wanted to make us wait all day or wouldn't let her come back to say goodbye. This office was so kind, caring, and compassionate. They immediately knew who they were upon walking in and ushered them back quickly and quietly. They loved on Fawn while putting in the catheter and giving her the shots to make her comfortable. The quality of care, professionalism, and understanding was top notch. I do not have a pet at this time but would use them if I ever do. They were also affordably priced. Thank you MAH for your kindness and compassion you showed.

I would highly recommend Maplewood Animal Hospital. They came to my vehicle to get my dog. Gave him his shots and brought him back out for me. I appreciate that extra mile they have gone to protect all during the Coronavirus.

Was promptly and courteously seen. They took care of our pet with great care.
