True Companion Animal Hospital Spring, Texas

We have been coming to True Companion for at least a decade. Our dog has grown up here. She is 13 and yesterday we found ourselves in an emergency situation for the first time. Our girl stopped eating, was in terrible pain, was panting and couldn’t walk. We were perplexed and didn’t know what to do. Of course we turned to our vet for help. But to our horror they turned us away. I couldn’t believe that after all these years they just simply said they were too booked to help. Absolutely unacceptable. We called Cole Veterinary Hospital who was also booked solid, however they told us to come on in and that we could wait to be seen between appointments, which we did. Our girl received the best care there and we are forever grateful. True Companion has lost my business.

I cannot speak highly enough about this place and the people that work there. I’ve had the unfortunate experience of losing 2 of my pets over the past 3 years. Both times they were the ones that sent my pets to a better place. Both times the staff was so compassionate and outgoing to me. They allowed to me stay with my pets for as long as I wanted after they passed and I received signed cards in the mail from the staff both times expressing their condolences to me. As everyone knows losing a pet is a very difficult time to go through and we all consider them members of our families. The people at True Companion are the best in the business and I would recommend them to anyone.

The Best! I wouldn’t hesitate recommending this location to anyone who wants the best top-tier care for their pet. The staff was super friendly and very nice. I always have the most pleasant experience at this location.

The doctors and technicians are all extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Great bedside manner from them and reasonable pricing. I trust this veterinary practice and I'm happy to recommend them to everyone.

Dr. Mintzas and her staff are truly amazing! They put my mind at ease knowing that my pups are getting the very best care and attention. So grateful for them!

We have been using True Companion for years and have always been very happy with the excellent service and care.

We have been seeing Dr. Mintzas for years. Upon arriving for our last appointment we were given another vet instead of Dr. Mintzas. Dr. Pedroza did not know our animals nor did she listen to our concerns. She dismissed our concerns and we left no better than when we arrived. Upon exiting the appointment I scheduled our follow up with Dr. Mintzas to discuss our dogs medicine and surgery which is what we came in for and tried to discuss with Dr. Pedroza. 6 months later arriving for our scheduled appointment I was informed we did not have an appointment and could not see Dr. Mintzas again. On 3 different attempts the receptionist, vet tech, and office manager proceeded to attempt to perform a consultation in the lobby and then only to be informed I would have to schedule another appointment to see the Dr. - Absolutely ridiculous! Dr. Mintzas is a fantastic vet but the staff surrounding her is completely incompetent. What once was a family friendly small personal vet has lost its touch and become just another doctors office. Sad to see but we will be finding a new vet for our fur babies.

Best vets and dog and cat hospital around. I love Dr Mintzas, and Dr Pedrosa, and all girls at the ftont and the vet techs!!!

Everybody was friendly and helpful. They were really concerned about my dogs health and I felt went to great lengths to make sure I understood his issues.

I have been taking my pets there for many years. They are kind and helpful. I feel that they take good care of my kitties. Prices are better than other places I have been in the past. I highly recommend them.

Doctors amazing, admin staff and scheduling little scattered and disorganized. Had an appointment and was double booked so they canceled mine. (Was made 4 months in advance). They seemed to be completely over whelmed. Anything out side of a normal appointment is to much. Another instance, I was told I would receive a call back twice. Neither happened ended up having to sit in their lobby for 4 hours the following Morning@7:30 am for these meds. Less of a hospital more a clinic.

My dog has awful separation anxiety but he has no issues at their office - He willingly goes with them and loves the doctors. They treat him with kindness and and it definitely shows. Great vet.

When we moved spring from the east side of Houston we obviously had to find a new veterinarian. We asked some people in our neighborhood Who they'd recommend, and True Companion came up top of the list several times. I must say we are extremely pleased with their professionalism and their care for our babies. I recommend this place

Dr. Rogers went above and beyond to help our 13 year old cat. She called throughout the weekend to give us updates and showed great compassion to our family. She will always have a special place in our hearts when we think of our cat Mac.

True Companion is a wonderful vet group! The vets and the support staff are all very kind and helpful, and really care about our pets and family. They've been our vets since around 2009. We recommend them highly!

This vet was competent and good to us at the beginning, but turned judgmental after 9 years refusing to prescribe pain meds to our golden retriever who was suffering tremendously from arthritis and fluid filled CCL's over a misconception about how many she could or should take and have prescribed for her. We changed to another vet then.

The doctors and nurses here are excellent. They are very knowledgeable and compassionate.

Our family just moved to the area and True Companion came highly recommend. Our older dog was not herself so I made an appointment with Dr. Webb. She took her time to get to know our dog and family. Unfortunately, our dog was diagnosed with cancer. Dr. Webb was so kind to our family especially our children when we made the difficult decision to put our dog down.

TCAH is wonderful! The doctors are so kind and knowledgeable and the staff is amazing. I've taken my dogs there for 9 years and Dr Mintzas and Dr Rogers are the best!

I've never had problems getting appointmens. The staff is friendly and helpful and care about my pets! I've mostly had appointmens during COVID so I stay in my car during the appointment. The dr will then call me and go over everything. Very happy with them.
